The interior of the restaurant is small. The vegetable curry with 12 different vegetables topped with sausages is delicious, with a perfect blend of Japanese-style fragrant spices. The soup is so good that you can't stop scooping it up. When you leave the restaurant, you'll see a downhill slope in front of you. At the end of the slope is Lake Toya, offering a breathtaking view.

This is a soup curry restaurant run by a single person, but there are not many customers so you don't have to wait long. They post a lot on Instagram. I'm posting the fried curry (1st picture) and vegetable curry here. It costs around 1280 yen per plate. The curry has a strong spice flavor and is very delicious. I recommend this hidden gem of a delicious restaurant. Their lassi is also delicious, so I recommend having it together.

The winter Lake Toya is also great, I wanted to ride the winter ropeway, but it was temporarily closed due to an extension of the manbo period. So, I decided to try the soup curry instead. They had 4 regular menu options and 2 recommended dishes. I ordered the "Vegetable Curry with 12 Ingredients" at spice level 3. The curry was unique with a lot of sesame and dried herb leaves sprinkled on top. The soup was light with a chicken base and a hint of spices. The curry was not too spicy even at level 3. The curry was filled with various vegetables prepared in different ways. My companion had the "Hamburger Curry" at spice level 1, which was a unique soup curry with a meaty hamburger patty. The restaurant was busy with customers coming in continuously, showing its popularity. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience at "Mogu Mogu."

Located near Lake Toya, this soup curry restaurant is situated on the mountain side, away from the lake. There is a parking space in front of the building. I had been curious about this place for a while, so I decided to visit for lunch during a business trip to Date. The interior had dim lighting, creating a cozy atmosphere similar to a live bar. There were counter seats and table seats, but the restaurant had limited seating. It was lunchtime and the place was quite busy. The menu offered only four types of curry. I ordered the "Chicken Curry (1,280 yen)" which was listed at the top of the menu, with a spice level of 3 (medium spicy). Spice levels above 5 and upsizing the rice were available at an additional cost. The curry was ready in about 12 minutes. The soup curry had a visual appearance similar to spiced curry, but it was actually light and easy to eat (more on the lighter side). The large chicken leg was tenderly cooked, and the fried vegetables were delicious as well. The spiciness was not as strong as I had imagined, and the level 3 spice was just right for me, so those who enjoy spicier food may want to go for a higher level. The portion size was not very large, and although the price felt a bit high, it would be a good choice for those who prefer lighter soup curry.

Finally visited a shop that opened in the first year of Reiwa. It was full or being interviewed, but I finally made my first visit. There were 4 customers before me and 1 customer after me. The background music was BTS and other pop songs. I don't usually eat soup curry, but this one was delicious! There was a customer who ordered spiciness level 20 and ate it without breaking a sweat! The staff said, "Spiciness level 20? We don't do taste tests! It's impossible! lol" I had the Vegetable Curry with 12 ingredients and spiciness level 2 with less rice for 1280 yen. Thank you for the meal! (^^)v

After returning from a winter camp, I used a day trip at Lake Toya Onsen and searched for a place to eat because I was hungry. I found a unique restaurant that serves soup curry with nori seaweed sprinkled on top. The restaurant had a spicy aroma and the spices they use are their own blend, making the soup curry flavorful with a strong spice sensation. The nori seaweed sprinkled on top added a new and interesting twist. I think it's great because there aren't many places serving soup curry around Lake Toya.

The soup is very delicious, even without spiciness. This restaurant is highly recommended.

There are too many ingredients making it hard to eat, but the taste is delicious.
