"I visited the newly opened Nakamura Shoten Takatsuki Minami store on April 29th, where they offer a dish called 'Kin no Shio' for 880 yen. This branch is a subsidiary of Nakamura Shoten, located in front of Takatsuki Station, and the store is located at the former site of 'Saisoku Ramen Kinsei Sohonke Mugikaze'. The nearest station is Hankyu Tomita Station. The menu includes: Kin no Shio - 880 yen, Chuka Soba - 750 yen, Rich Tonkotsu Shoyu - 900 yen, Ajitama (flavored egg) - an additional 120 yen, Special - an additional 250 yen, Extra Chashu (4 slices) - an additional 300 yen, and Extra Noodles - an additional 150 yen. The soup is made from a combination of chicken and fish broth, with a low viscosity salt base and a refreshing aroma of large leaves. It has a mellow saltiness with a refined umami from the chicken broth and a hint of seafood flavor, creating a well-balanced and rich taste. The homemade noodles are thick straight noodles with a smooth and chewy texture, offering a strong firmness. The chashu (sliced pork) is tender with a perfect seasoning that allows the meat's deliciousness to shine through. You can also adjust the flavor using the pepper, chili oil, and vinegar provided on the table."

Recently, I visited "Kinsei Takatsuki Ekimae Store" and "Nakamura Shoten Takatsuki Main Store", but "3104 Chome" and "La Menya Harinezumi" are closed today. I thought about other shops in Takatsuki besides the "Kinsei Group", and "Wanwan Tei", "Ramen Tesshin", and "Chinese Hanasaku" came to mind, but in the end, I ended up going to a certain shop in the "Kinsei Group". For lunch today, after the closure of "Kinsei Sokenya Mofu" with 21 years of history on January 1st this year, I quietly opened a new store with a takeover on April 29th, which is also in the "Kinsei Group", "Nakamura Shoten Takatsuki Minami Store", and I arrived as the first customer 15 minutes before the opening at 11:00. While waiting, I checked the menu board in front of the store and found that the regular menu and the limited "Hinyarinco" cold noodles were almost the same as "Nakamura Shoten", and perhaps the only original item at the Takatsuki Minami store is the "Aburasoba" limited to evenings. When the store opened at 11:00, a female staff member who came to put up the curtain in front of the store guided me inside, so I entered after cleaning my hands with the alcohol disinfectant in front of the store. The interior of the store was unchanged from the days of "Kinsei Sokenya Mofu", and when I sat at the counter, I checked the menu. Since I had already eaten all the menu items, and it had suddenly become hot after the typhoon, I ordered the limited-time "Chilled Kin no Shio Ramen (900 yen)" with the "(Weekday lunch only) Rice set (50 yen)". After ordering, I was told, "The soup is not cold yet, it will take about 15 minutes, no, maybe 10 minutes, is that okay?" so I decided to wait since I had time. After about 10 minutes, the limited-time "Chilled Kin no Shio Ramen" arrived, with a clear and cold Hinyarinco salt soup topped with pork shoulder loin rare chashu, menma, chopped large leaves, chopped white onions, and shredded red chili peppers. I took a bite of the clear and cold Hinyarinco salt soup, and as expected, it was lukewarm. Well, I accepted that, and the flavor and umami of chicken and seafood broth spread in my mouth, along with the refreshing aroma of chopped large leaves enveloping everything gently, and the spiciness of shredded red chili peppers and the sharpness of the salt base added to the overall deliciousness! I have had it many times, but I forgot when it started, but maybe because it doesn't use perilla oil, the aroma is slightly subdued, as it is flavored with chopped large leaves, which is common to "Nakamura Shoten". The homemade medium-thick straight noodles made with the Kinsei Group's exclusive flour "Yume no Kaze" are rich in wheat flavor, firm and chewy due to being firmly cooled with cold water, with a smooth noodle surface and a pleasant throat feel, blending well with the clear and cold Hinyarinco salt soup, making it very delicious! The low-temperature cooked pork shoulder loin rare chashu is thickly cut, making it a bit difficult to chew, with a tough and slightly dry texture, a mild seasoning, and the more you chew, the more you feel the smell of the meat, rather than the usual meat umami and sweetness, it's unusual... probably because the chashu (pork shoulder loin & pork belly) is "made in bulk" unless it's a special one, I think there is no "difference in taste" between stores... Furthermore, the appropriately seasoned menma with a crunchy texture and the chopped white onions with a crispy texture serve as accents, and it's really good! I quickly finished the clear and cold Hinyarinco salt soup and licked the bowl clean. It's a bit late, but I was able to enjoy the "Hinyarinco" cold noodles, a summer tradition at Nakamura Shoten, at the first visit to the Takatsuki Minami store, and although I was a bit concerned about the smell of the pork, it was stable and delicious, thank you for the meal!

Located in the southern part of Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture, there is a ramen restaurant on the grass. It is a branch of the famous chain Nakamura Shoten. Previously, the founder of Nakamura Shoten himself operated a ramen restaurant called Kinsei Yumekaze. It closed relatively recently, and then a branch of Nakamura Shoten opened in its place. Kinsei Yumekaze used to have long lines, but when I visited, there were only two customers including myself. The waitress seemed to be in training, as her greeting sounded like she was practicing. The atmosphere of the restaurant has changed and become more relaxed. The menu structure seems to be the same as other Nakamura Shoten branches. The "Kin no Shio" salt ramen is famous, and they had a limited-time menu for a cold version called "Hiyashi Kin no Shio". I decided to try it due to the extreme heat this summer, and it was delicious. It had a stable and familiar taste typical of the Nakamura Shoten chain. The soup, made from chicken and bonito, with chopped shiso leaves, was a good match. The noodles were the typical straight noodles associated with the Kinsei group. The only downside is that there is no parking lot, despite being far from the station.

I visited the restaurant "Nakamura Shoten Takatsuki Minami Store" for lunch on this day. I had previously been to their sister store "Kinsei," but it seems that Nakamura Shoten has been renovated since then. The curtain at the entrance has changed, but the vertical sign on the building remains the same. This is my go-to place for lunch when I'm working around here. I had tried the "Kin no Shio" at another Nakamura Shoten before, so this time I ordered the limited edition "Rich Pork Bone Soy Sauce Special for 1,150 yen." The ramen arrived, and it was indeed rich and special! The toppings were very luxurious as expected. The soup was rich and coated the noodles well, but it wasn't too salty like some other tonkotsu ramen. It was a satisfying lunch with a generous portion. Thank you for the meal!!!

I had the Gold Shio Ramen with seasoned egg for ¥1000 and the Char Siu Donburi for ¥330. It's been a while since Yumekaze closed down, but Nakamura Shouten has now opened in its place. It was a treat to have the Gold Shio Ramen again, the saltiness of the Kinsei salt is truly refreshing without being too strong, making it a fantastic soup. The addition of shiso leaf and green onions adds a nice touch as listed on the menu. The clear soup and noodles complement each other perfectly, creating an excellent bowl. It's really a beautiful and delicious dish. Since there are still few customers, now is the time to go. They plan to introduce tsukemen on the menu as well, so I will definitely be coming back regularly.

Nakamura Shoten Takatsuki Minami store in Osaka, newly opened in April '23 with a fresh look. Rich Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen with flavored egg for ¥1020. The soup is rich with a hint of sweetness from the flavorful pork bone, complemented by a velvety texture and a mild taste. The thin, firm noodles have a satisfying bite and excellent flavor absorption. Toppings include tender chashu with a sweet marinade, a flavorful egg, crunchy menma, green onions, white onions, and naruto. The rich pork bone broth gradually intensifies, blending perfectly with the noodles for a delicious experience. Enjoyed a bowl of flavorful tonkotsu ramen at Nakamura Shoten Takatsuki Minami store.

Today, I came here. This is a newly opened restaurant at the former location of "Kinsei Soken Honke Yumekaze," which had been closed for a long time. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is cozy and traditional, with a radio playing in the background. The layout consists of a kitchen on the right side, an L-shaped counter with 5 seats along the wall, and 3 small tables on the left side. The menu offers three types of ramen: "Golden Salt," "Chinese Ramen," and "Rich Pork Bone Soy Sauce." Additionally, there are toppings, rice dishes, fried chicken, dumplings, and other side dishes available. I ordered the "Chinese Ramen with Flavored Egg" and it arrived after a short wait. The soup had a layer of fine oil on the surface, with a sharp soy sauce flavor that blended well with the traditional and modern aspects of the ramen. The noodles were thin and straight, slightly softer to complement the soup. The toppings included thin slices of pork belly, crunchy and short-cut bamboo shoots, naruto fish cake, green onions, and a richly flavored seasoned egg. I finished my meal shortly after. It was lunchtime on a weekday, and there were 5 customers before me and 2 after me, mostly locals. The service was good. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Accessibility-wise, there is a step for wheelchair users, a washlet toilet at the back, but no parking available.

Golden Salt Ramen (Chicken and Seafood - 880 yen) ★★★★ The soup is a combination of chicken and seafood broth with a salt flavor. The noodles are thick straight noodles. The toppings include pork shoulder chashu, white negi (Japanese leek), chopped onions, mizuna (Japanese mustard greens), and menma (seasoned bamboo shoots). It is garnished with red chili pepper threads. This restaurant is a branch of Nakamura Shoten in Takatsuki, and it opened on April 29th in the former location of Saisoku Ramen Kinsei Sohonke Yumekaze in Sakae-cho. The soup is a rich blend of chicken and seafood broth with a slightly thick chicken oil base, enhanced by a sharp salt seasoning that balances the umami of chicken and seafood, resulting in a flavorful and rich broth. The homemade noodles have a firm texture and a smooth finish. The generous pork chashu slices are tender and well-seasoned. You can also enjoy changing the flavor with the provided black pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil.
