I went to a kaiseki sushi restaurant for the first time. I'm not sure if the food was served in styrofoam containers because it was a banquet set, but I would like to try eating proper dishes at the counter on the first floor once.

I hesitated to post about it since everyone already knows about it, but after going there for the first time in years, I confirmed how delicious it is, so I decided to share my experience. The menu is ordered through a touch panel style, but being a very analog person, I struggle with it. However, they also have a menu for those like me who prefer ordering in person, so no need to worry. They offer a wide variety of dishes such as sushi, sashimi, hot pot, appetizers, bento boxes, set meals, kaiseki, and more. The atmosphere, service, and food are more like a proper dining place rather than just a casual bar (*˙ᵕ˙ *) It's not a bad idea to have a drink here once in a while (I stick to oolong tea though haha). The bustling yet calming feeling with plenty of customers gives off the reliable old-fashioned charm. I dropped by for dinner. The restaurant was crowded, so we had to wait for the second seating. It took about 15 minutes for a table to open up. It seemed like they were short-staffed as the service was slow and our orders were forgotten or mixed up. The food also took a long time to be served. Because of the order mix-up, we couldn't get what we wanted to eat. Overall, it was disappointing. We parked at a nearby coin parking lot.

I heard that Ganeko Sushi offers all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu and sushi, so I went there. The price is similar to other all-you-can-eat chains, but the quality is high with sashimi, fried foods, and sushi all available. The hot pot broth and ponzu sauce were delicious, and we enjoyed everything until the end. I will definitely be coming back.

I used it for a daytime drink. I ordered the Assorted Tuna Sushi, Domestic Beef Shabu-Shabu Set, Negitoro Roll, Grilled Chicken, Chicken Nanban, and Vinegared Mozuku with 2 bottles of beer. The sushi and dishes were delicious, both the Otoro and Akami were very tasty. However, the disappointing part was that the domestic beef shabu-shabu and tempura were all frozen, and when left for a while, a lot of liquid dripped out. The pot was covered in blood after cooking one slice of shabu-shabu. The ponzu sauce was too strong and there were no condiments. I didn't feel like putting the tofu in the bloody pot, so I ate it with soy sauce. The tempura was not crispy as expected, it was rather soft, but it was okay with the tempura dipping sauce. It's a sushi restaurant, so maybe I'm wrong to criticize. The sushi was delicious. Personally, I really liked the vinegared Mozuku. Also, I was surprised to learn that they make and sell 500 bento boxes in front of the shop every day! I'll go buy one next time!

After the New Year, on the 4th day. It seems like lunch service has resumed today. I visited during off-peak hours. I had the Nabeyaki Udon set with Negitoro for 1408 yen, tax included. It was a safe and simple flavor. It would be good for gatherings or family outings. The standout point was the excellent customer service. Everyone greeted me with "Irasshaimase," creating a lively atmosphere. The staff's attentiveness and flexibility were top-notch. It was the first time since my visit to Meat Deli Niklaus in Fukushima that I experienced such pleasant customer service. They truly make you feel welcome. Thank you for the meal!

Arrived at 12:45pm. The restaurant was almost full. It was my first time here. Surprisingly, it was quite crowded. I wasn't planning to stop by, but when I saw sushi and udon being served for lunch, I decided to give it a try. There are many table seats and a good number of counter seats as well. The tables looked nice, so I would like to try sitting at the counter next time for a more relaxed experience. I ordered the sushi and udon set for 1100 yen including tax. It arrived in 5 minutes. The sushi included 10 pieces with a variety of toppings like tuna, egg, and salmon, and even some tofu skin. The rice was soft and the vinegar was mild. The portion was satisfying. The smaller rice portions were a plus for me. The udon was decent, with a good amount of tempura. The broth was slightly sweet. There are many lunch options available for around 1000 yen, so it could be a good choice if you're dining with someone else.

The dishes were excellent for the season, the assorted pickles, chicken sashimi with ponzu sauce, mackerel sushi, and four servings of hot sake totaled 4,016 yen. The food was great and the service from the staff was excellent. I regret not coming here before. I am satisfied, very satisfied. (๑′ᴗ‵๑)

A great place to visit when the whole family is together. I usually go for the Negitoro Tempura Set. It comes with Negitoro sushi, tempura, and zaru soba, and it's the best!

The prices are not too high and the sushi is delicious. The grilled rock oysters were very tasty.

After a long time, I went to a seafood restaurant. I had fresh oysters, assorted sashimi, sushi, seared blackthroat seaperch, seared wagyu beef, yellowtail sushi, conger eel tempura, squid tempura, shrimp sushi, and water eggplant. Everything was delicious!

The other day, when I visited Hirakata City, I went to a shop that has been there for over 10 years, but it was my first visit. The location is right by Keihan Electric Railway Hirakata City Station. I always go by car, so I have never walked around slowly, but this time I took the train and walked a little bit around. It's the birthplace of TUTAYA, but now it's a building with restaurants and books displayed in the latest way, making it feel like Hirakata? I looked around. I finished my errands and it was lunchtime. I had seen this restaurant in "Hirakata Tsuushin" before and thought it looked delicious. It's Ganko Sushi Hirakata Store. As soon as you enter the store, there is a waiting area for seats. The menu I was looking for was displayed at the storefront. I ordered the Yawaragi Bento for ¥1680 + tax, which comes with coffee and dessert if you enter by 3:00 PM. There were many dishes available. The pork cold shabu shabu with cabbage and paprika in sesame sauce was delicious. There was also a refreshing watercress ohitashi and a grilled white fish with a fluffy texture. The tempura with shrimp, pumpkin, and shishito pepper was light and enjoyable. The sashimi included tuna, sea bream, salmon, and fresh yuba, which I love. The red miso soup and fried tofu rice were also delicious. The dessert was a mild blend coffee and cheesecake. It was a satisfying lunch with a variety of small but delicious dishes. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very clean and there were counter seats on the first floor. There are also tatami seats on the upper floor.
