The space was predominantly white with lots of miscellaneous items. I sat at a seat where there was a rainbow? and had chai. I chose to dine in because they don't put flowers on takeout orders, and it turned out to be quiet and surprisingly relaxing. The chai was a bit sweet.

I learned about imas cafe, a beauty salon renovated from an old building in Sagasu, where the owner from South Korea creates an atmosphere similar to trendy cafes in Korea. I visited with my university student daughter and we tried the drinks and sweets. The cafe is on the first floor, with the second floor serving as the cafe space. The Korean barista owner greeted us and took our orders. The cafe has a stylish and chic vibe, with a cute and natural atmosphere. The second floor is a photogenic space with changing decorations, currently featuring a beach umbrella summer theme. The drinks and sweets we ordered were also photogenic, with the Masukado Aid sparkling and the Croffle delicious with mascarpone cream and cherries. My daughter enjoyed her iced cafe latte, while the owner recommended the Soyon Latte, a cute and tasty Korean-style drink. I look forward to visiting again when the interior changes.

The atmosphere inside the store was really nice, with white as the main color and even parasols inside. It was spacious and relaxing. Besides coffee, they also had soda, so I ordered a passion fruit soda because it was hot. I also tried a black waffle because I was a bit hungry. The soda was refreshing, but it was hard to drink because of the seeds, which was disappointing. The black waffle was made with charcoal powder, giving it a black color on the outside. I was surprised by its firmness at first, but it was enjoyable to look at.

Even if you are not interested in Korean cafes, cafes in the gourmet area of Fukushima could be a hidden gem, so I had already checked this place as a valuable spot. However, I didn't plan to go there specifically until this time when I visited to spend some time. To my surprise, the attached beauty salon had a funky vibe, and the cafe on the second floor, which you reach after ordering at the booth, was themed around summer vacation (it seems to undergo a complete makeover periodically), with parasols lining the interior. Despite lacking refined resort elements, it had a kitschy feel, somewhat like a school festival food stall? Full of handmade charm, probably quite different from the more stylish Korean cafes nowadays (not sure of the definition, but pastel colors, right?). Initially, I was a bit taken aback, but it turned out to be a lovely cafe. The best part was the delicious drinks. The recommended Soyon latte was ordered, and hearing that it was jasmine tea-based, I had low expectations. Tea-based lattes have never been bad but not particularly tasty in my experience. However, what I had here had a natural and elegant fragrance, blending smoothly with the milk, creating a soft and gentle overall taste. The visual presentation was also perfect with a two-tone of white and milky beige, purple flowers (inedible) on the saucer and straw, perfect color coordination. Even for someone like me who doesn't seek visuals in drinks, this was cute. And it was so delicious that it was the first time I was shocked by a drink. The cozy atmosphere was also surprisingly good (partly because there were no other customers at the time), with the distant sound of the train fading away, leaving a strangely open and relaxed feeling, allowing me to spend a leisurely and peaceful time. Depending on the timing, it's a hidden gem. It certainly looks good in photos too, haha. Regardless of being Instagrammable, I could understand why it was once in the spotlight. If your goal is to relax at a cafe, this environment is ideal. I would like to visit again when I'm in that mood.

I stopped by because I wanted to eat scones. I ordered on the 1st floor and went up to the 2nd floor. It was quite busy, but there was enough space between tables, making it easy for solo customers to visit. The counter was well-equipped. The place had a nice scent of incense and dried flowers, and the atmosphere was stylish. There were about 4-5 types of scones available, and I chose the cranberry one. They also had coffee, and free Wi-Fi. You could help yourself to water. It's a great place to come on a weekday with a book, or to relax with friends after lunch. The staff, who were foreigners, provided polite service. Thank you for the meal.

Fukushima Cafe Tour! There's a Korean-style cafe that's been trending on Instagram, and the atmosphere changes every time. It's a bit disappointing that the inside of the store wasn't very clean, but as of March 2020, it had a nice natural feel. The staff seemed to be Korean - they were polite and kind! The entrance was a bit hard to find, and there was a train passing right in front of it, but it was funny. The lavender milk tea was sweet and cute. I wanted to try the red velvet drink too!

A whimsical cafe I stumbled upon. The fragrance and atmosphere matched perfectly, truly a place that's Instagram-worthy. The seating is freely arranged, giving a sense of no boundaries with other customers. However, nearby, girls were snapping photos left and right, leaving a 30-something man unsure of how to drink his coffee with a straight face... haha. The drinks were quite ordinary. This kind of café atmosphere may not be common in Japan, so it could be a unique experience to visit.

I visited the founding site of his company last week, and this time I headed to the location where Matsushita Electric was established. After that, I visited Himejima Shrine to make a wish again, which took 15 attempts before finally completing it. Unsure about having lunch, I decided to take a detour on my way back to base camp. While heading towards Fukushima, I stumbled upon a stylish café adjacent to a beauty salon in a vintage Showa-era building. Despite my initial hesitation, I mustered the courage to enter. The interior had a trendy and cool vibe, with staff who appeared to be Korean providing excellent service. I ordered a café latte (450 yen) and was directed to the second floor where there was seating. Upon entering the spacious white-themed room with a strong aroma, I noticed the pop decorations and calming music. The latte served in a unique glass was well-balanced with creamy foam and a mix of coffee bitterness and milk. The entire café was Instagram-worthy, attracting young female customers in their early twenties who were enthusiastically taking photos. Amidst their lively chatter, I enjoyed planning my next trip at the counter seat while occasionally hearing the sound of the Hankyu train passing by. I spent a leisurely afternoon in this atmosphere, where I seemed to be the one staying the longest.

After eating blue sky jelly at the Lion Circus, my friend told me about an interesting cafe, so I decided to check it out. The cafe is called "Imas Cafe" and is located about a 10-minute walk from Fukushima (Osaka) Station. It is run by a Korean owner, with the first floor being a beauty salon and the second floor being a cafe. You order on the first floor and they bring your order up to the second floor. When I went upstairs, I was surprised to find a stylish and unique space. The interior design changes according to the season, and right now it's decorated for summer with lots of flamingo drink holders. The vinyl dividers are lit up with pink lights, creating a beautiful sparkling effect. I decided to try the "Afro Soda" drink, which looked intriguing. The drink was served with cute eyes on the cup and an afro hair-like wafer on top, making it a humorous drink. It had a mint flavor. Overall, it was a fun and interesting cafe experience.

I went there quite a while ago, but the summer limited edition Piglet watermelon juice was delicious! The interior of the restaurant seems to change depending on the season, so I would like to go again.
