I usually don't go to fast food restaurants, but I remembered seeing it on TV Osaka's "Gaia no Yoake" and decided to visit. Kentucky Fried Chicken has a reputation for being expensive, but this lunch set proved otherwise. It had been a while since I last visited, so the taste was nostalgic. *The photo is of the storefront taken later.

This day, I finished my errands by the evening and had dinner alone. After exploring some new places and hopping between bars, I received a call from home saying "Ken Takki wants to eat!" Why haven't you had dinner by this time! It was probably around 9 pm. So, I decided to stop by this place at Al Plaza on my way back. The restaurant was quite empty. I was already full, so I ordered the Original Chicken 6-piece pack. You can choose three side dishes, so I went with a mysterious order of potato, potato, and biscuit. I also ordered coleslaw, but they only had a large size available. Maybe I should have gone for the small one since I was already full. When I got home, I couldn't resist and opened the food. I tried one piece and it was delicious, just like I remembered from years ago. I ended up eating 2 out of the 6 pieces. It's great that there are takeout places open late. Thank you for the meal.

I purchased the "Crispy Boneless Kentucky <Rich Cheese Coating>" and "Cheese-filled New Sandwich <Melty Cheese Chicken Sandwich>" released on March 23rd. The "Melty Cheese Chicken Sandwich" costs 450 yen and features crispy cheese-coated chicken with two types of cheese (Camembert cheese sauce, shredded Gouda cheese), baked to a melty perfection. It also includes a tangy Southern Island filling and fresh lettuce sandwiched between whole wheat buns. However, the cheese flavor in the chicken and the amount of cheese and filling were disappointingly low compared to the advertised images. Despite not being bad, I felt like I didn't get my money's worth. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of the "Crispy Boneless Kentucky <Rich Cheese Coating>", but it also had a mild cheese flavor. Both items were easy to eat without bones being a plus.

I went to the Takatsuki Alex Cinema in January 2018 to watch a movie. Sakai Masahito was smiling even in the climax scene, which made me laugh. I got a little bored in the middle, but the ending was interesting. I bought the "Taste Comparison Pack G ¥1190" (including tax) from KFC with the spicy boneless chicken. The spicy boneless chicken was moderately spicy and moderately delicious. However, the spiciness overshadowed the spiciness of the chicken. The chicken was breast meat, so it felt light. The size was not very big, so it felt a bit expensive. The original chicken was my favorite. The large size fried potato was a bit spicy. Overall, the boneless chicken was tasty but not very filling. On another occasion, I bought the "Boneless Chicken Taste Comparison Set ¥670" which included boneless chicken with savory salt flavor and boneless chicken with original chicken flavor. The savory salt flavor was better than the original chicken flavor. The original chicken flavor felt less spicy after eating the savory salt flavor. The pack included small-sized original chicken pieces, which lacked in satisfaction. The boneless chicken was made with thin breast meat, so it felt even less filling. Overall, the boneless chicken with savory salt flavor was tasty but not very satisfying. On Christmas Eve, I ordered KFC chicken, but it turned out to be a pair set with fewer pieces than expected. The chicken pieces were small and not very satisfying. The store apologized and offered a refund promptly. The store manager also apologized in person. The chicken itself was disappointing as it had small pieces and some with too many bones. Overall, the experience was not great. For Christmas, I usually order KFC chicken. Last year, I forgot to make a reservation until December and missed out on my preferred pick-up time. This year, I reserved early and got the 6:00-6:15 slot. I ordered the Christmas A pack which included original chicken, barbecue chicken, chicken tenders, and nuggets. I also added extra barbecue chicken. The visual presentation was good, but the overall experience was not very satisfying.

I felt like having KFC after a long time, so I decided to eat in and then head home. When I went around 8:00 PM, the set with coleslaw was sold out. The cashier's response was, "We're out of coleslaw and cannot provide it!!" It felt like I was being scolded... If they had just apologized a bit more sincerely for not being able to provide it, it would have been better. Why the attitude? Were they irritated because they had received multiple orders and couldn't keep up? So, I ended up choosing the set with a brownish color. ☆ Original Chicken 1 Piece Set (590 yen) It comes with 1 piece of original chicken, small fries, and a small drink. I was hoping for the chicken with long bones, but I got the flat one. The flavor was strong but classic and delicious. They told me to enjoy it leisurely when serving, but I didn't feel like it at all and left the store quickly. It's better to get KFC for takeout, like during Christmas, rather than eating in the store. I just couldn't get into the mood to eat there for a while.

It is located on the first floor of Al Plaza. I had nuggets. They were very juicy and had a unique flavor, very delicious. I also had a chicken fillet sandwich, which was also very tasty. The flavors are addictive. I was able to get full for under 1,000 yen and I was very satisfied. This store seems to have quite a few customers. I also earned ponta points and was satisfied. I would like to earn ponta points at Lawson and other places, and eat nuggets without using cash. I would like to go again.

Located on the first floor of Al Plaza in front of JR Takatsuki Station. It's a bit hard to find, but it faces the street where Akutagawa Shotengai used to be. I sometimes crave the crispy chicken here. It's thick and the meat comes off the bone easily. The crispy skin is also delicious! The fries are thicker than McDonald's and have a unique KFC spice flavor that is really tasty. I got the fries for half price by showing a coupon on my phone, lucky me. They also have other menu items like Twisters made with fried chicken, so you can enjoy a different taste than typical burger shops. It's a dish that you might crave once in a while!

At Kentucky, they fry chicken, but the fries cooked in the same oil are excellent!! It's like chicken-flavored fries. (laughs)

They were featuring Kentucky Fried Chicken on TV and I suddenly felt like eating it, so I bought some. I heard that people have different preferences between the flat chicken parts and the bone-in parts. I personally love the bone-in parts because I feel like I can taste the juiciness of the meat. Maybe it's because my home-cooked meals are usually lightly seasoned, but I found the seasoning to be quite strong. This was my first time trying the crispy chicken. It's boneless chicken made from tender breast meat, fried to a crispy texture, and seasoned with garlic soy sauce. I think I prefer regular chicken though. There's a Kentucky Fried Chicken all-you-can-eat restaurant in Minoh, and I wonder how much chicken people actually eat there! I can only handle about 2 pieces myself.
