The location is a 10-minute walk from JR Fukushima Station. It is located next to Kanran Girls' High School on Amidaike Street. There is Festival Hall nearby, so there is quite a bit of foot traffic. The interior of the restaurant is spacious with a counter and private tatami rooms, giving it a large traditional Japanese eatery feel. The female staff (wearing kimonos, possibly the hostess?) are polite and very pleasant. I visited in the evening without a reservation, and although most private rooms were empty, they were fully booked! I was seated in a room with a faulty air conditioning system, but it didn't bother me at all. All the dishes were delicious. The standout dishes were the crispy fried taro balls, the crispy and juicy fried chicken, and the chewy lotus root manju. The last order is a bit early at 11:00, but considering the location, it's understandable. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

Today we had a drinking party at work. The place is like a cozy izakaya located on the outskirts of Fukushima. It's about a 10-minute walk from Fukushima Station. It looks quite high-class with a nice traditional Japanese atmosphere. It seems like a chain restaurant, but I really like the calm and relaxing vibe of this place. The tatami room is packed with a large group having a party, so it must be quite spacious. It's surprising to find such a nice restaurant in the outskirts of Fukushima. The food is well done for an izakaya, and considering the prices, I have no complaints. The service is also very friendly, making it a perfect hidden gem for hosting a party.

The eel was delicious. However, some customers feel that the cost performance may not be great. I wonder if there is a reason for that even though everyone seems to enjoy it. I didn't know that eel and onions go so well together. It tastes amazing when eaten with broth. Maybe it's because both are from Awaji Island? The drink prices are normal, but since the food is Japanese, sake pairs well. The serving dishes are nice, and there are private rooms available for a relaxed meal. It might be a good choice when you want to enjoy a leisurely meal.

I visited this place over 10 years ago and the half-private room was cozy. I haven't been back since then. It's located slightly away from the popular Fukushima area, on the west side of Oyodo. It's on the first floor of an apartment building. It has been running for 15 years, maybe because residents of the building frequent it. There's nothing much around here. The interior of the restaurant hasn't changed much. The half-private room with a sunken kotatsu seating is still there. There was a luxurious sashimi platter for only 680 yen as a service dish, and it was delicious and well-prepared. This is a true service dish. The food has gotten even tastier. The shrimp mayo was better than what you would get at a Chinese restaurant. Oh, this is a great find. I'll walk 15 minutes from Fukushima Station to come back again.

I used to think of Fukushima as a lively and bustling place, but the atmosphere of this restaurant was quiet and cozy, hidden away from the hustle and bustle. The surroundings were peaceful, being a bit away from the station. I ordered the eel suki kaiseki, and it was absolutely fantastic and very reasonably priced. It was my first time having eel this year, and it was so delicious that I might not be able to eat it anywhere else now! I also tried the recommended tai-meshi (sea bream rice), which was incredibly tasty. The sake and shochu selection was extensive, perfect for a drinker like me. The staff were friendly and efficient, even on a busy Friday night, so I had a great time enjoying my drinks. I used this restaurant for a business dinner, and my guests loved it, so I will definitely be coming back. I also want to visit for a solo drink sometime. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Nearby, there are excellent restaurants such as "Kasukumi," "Enju," and "Kazu-ya." I decided to enter one of them. However, despite being open, the front metal bars were closed. Inside, I was greeted with a "welcome" and they had a variety of drinks available. The food was mediocre, with oversized plates that were a hindrance. The interior was dark, making it difficult to read while enjoying a drink. The mirin-marinated dish was overcooked, making a metallic noise when it cooled down. The mackerel sushi lacked flavor. It may be due to the season, but compared to my usual favorite restaurant (a secret), this place seems a bit lacking. The complimentary appetizer was unnecessary. I don't think I will be returning for a second visit.

The neighboring table was very noisy with children, which was cute and made us smile, but the service was incredibly slow. It took about 30 minutes for each dish to arrive, even though we ordered everything at once. The staff didn't apologize for the delay, and when they brought the wrong dishes, they just smiled and said they would check. It was frustrating that the dishes we actually ordered took forever to come out. When we asked for dessert, it was also delayed, so we had to cancel and leave because my friend had to catch a train. The poor service from the staff really ruined our experience, despite the delicious food and nice ambiance of the restaurant. I hope they improve their service because I used to really like this place and it was embarrassing to have recommended it to my friend.

This is a shop located in a surprisingly unexpected place away from the station. The atmosphere inside the shop is calm, quiet, and very elegant, so I use it when my parents come to Osaka to visit. We are always guided to a private room and order a course meal. The courses come out at just the right intervals, so we can enjoy a leisurely conversation with my parents, which is greatly appreciated. When I visited recently, I was disappointed to find that the appetizer platter had less volume than before. I will visit again because I can always eat seasonal foods.

They should also be trained on when to clear empty plates and what they should be doing at any given moment. Developing this sense of responsibility may be challenging for young people without proper guidance. Despite being critical of the service, the food at this restaurant is undeniably tasty and offers great value for money. That much is certain.

If you become a regular, you can even receive a bottle service for shochu, which may make you want to visit more often. In the Fukushima area, there are many restaurants offering creative cuisine, but personally, this was the most relaxing place for me.

I have visited the Tennoji store before, not the Fukushima store. When I entered the store, there were counter seats, and the rest of the seating was in private rooms for a calm atmosphere. The prices for dishes are generally in the range of 500 to 800 yen, making it easy to order. I went with three people, and some dishes seemed a bit small, so we ordered the same dish again. If you want to try a variety of dishes, this amount is probably sufficient. Despite being inexpensive, the atmosphere of the store is nice and clean, so I would like to use it again.
