No matter which town, city, or country I visit, I always love walking through the back alleys. I refrain from exploring back alleys in America. Midori is located between Shibuya and Ebisu, which is one of my top 5 favorite hidden alley walks. This area also has "Kokko Yakitori" in a similar location across Meiji Street. Midori is completely hidden in a residential area, a true hidden gem. If you know such a hidden gem, I think anyone you bring here will be delighted. The specialty here is the chicken sashimi. The raw chicken heart sashimi is something you can't easily find elsewhere. The chicken breast and tenderloin are also fresh, and the sashimi plate is a must-order dish, piled high for only 2000 yen... an unbelievable deal. The chicken yaki lava plate is loved by those who love it because the meat is so fresh that it tastes delicious when grilled. Personally, I prefer to eat professionally grilled yakitori, so for the finishing touch or rice dishes, I recommend dishes like TKG, ramen, or chicken rice bowl. I went to a bird grilling restaurant after a long time! The food is always delicious and consistent whenever I go. Both the sashimi and grilled dishes are delicious (^ ^) I forgot to take a picture, but I highly recommend the kimchi assortment. I always end up ordering it again because it's so good. The chicken grill restaurant was my first visit and I was looking forward to trying the chicken sashimi! I'm always hesitant to eat chicken sashimi if it's not fresh, but here it was very fresh and had no unpleasant smell. All the dishes were delicious, including the liver yukke which went well with alcohol. Grilling the chicken yourself can be tricky as it's easy to overcook and make it tough, but it had a sweet flavor and was tasty. We finished with raw egg over rice and chicken soup. The cost performance is good, but be aware that it's quite a walk from the station when you go.

There were many mistakes in the service, such as wrong orders and running out of gas for the stove. It was disappointing as we used it for an important occasion. ❌

Delicious grilled chicken!! They also have chicken sashimi, and I recommend the kimchi assortment. The flavors are exquisite and cater to individual tastes! I had never seen raw chicken heart before, it looks just like a heart. The texture was slightly chewy and very fresh. They also served chicken gizzard sashimi, which was quite innovative, along with familiar items like chicken skin and breast meat tataki. The variety of dishes allowed me to fully enjoy the experience. The main grilled chicken dishes were lined up beautifully. It's a self-grilling style, which may require some skill, but it's enjoyable for those who like grilling. The staff did a great job adjusting the heat, so the meat was cooked perfectly without drying out. I kept drinking draft beer endlessly, and the spicy noodles at the end were a refreshing finish. All of this for a total of 7,000 yen is fantastic. I heard that a confident chicken restaurant opened in the neighborhood, so I went to check it out right away. I made a reservation for the green full course with all-you-can-drink for 2 hours, and I was excited. The menu is detailed, but I won't mention everything - everything is delicious! The highlight is the 5 kinds of sashimi, which are very fresh. One small complaint about this new restaurant is that they informed us about the end of the all-you-can-drink option when only half of the course had been served. Lastly, the chicken yakiniku is definitely delicious, but be careful as the meat's moisture causes hot splatters - it's best to have the staff cook it for you at the counter on the first floor when going with two people.

It's about a 15-minute walk from Shibuya Station and around 20 minutes from Ebisu, located in a back alley near Namiki Bridge. This place offers a rare experience of eating chicken sashimi. Chicken yakiniku can be a challenging genre, but it's enjoyable and somewhat healthy to eat here without hesitation. The cost performance is great, and the fresh ingredients make you wish they used fresh ginger and garlic too.

The restaurant has a counter on the 1st floor and table seats on the 2nd floor. Since it is new, the interior is clean and the customers are mostly adults, creating a calm and cozy atmosphere. This shop offers great value for money! It's rare to find a place where you can eat chicken sashimi, but out of curiosity, I tried it and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! The chicken liver is also tasty! The grilled chicken is also excellent. You can truly enjoy a variety of chicken dishes here and leave with a full stomach. The course menu costs 5,000 yen, which is a great deal considering the taste and portion size! The liver is available as a single item. Even with all-you-can-drink option, it costs only 7,000 yen.
