In early September 2023, I visited this place for lunch and tried their limited edition Cold Japanese-style Chicken Soba for 900 yen. The location is on the 2nd floor of Shiodome City Center, tucked away in a hidden spot which might make it hard for first-time visitors to find. Due to this, the restaurant temporarily closed at the end of June last year, but reopened on February 15th this year after downsizing the store to half and adding a pasta specialty store called "Tsuminatarasupa". These two stores seem to be under the same management as the seating areas are separated by walls but the kitchens are connected inside. The menu includes Chicken Shirodashi Soup Soba, Tsukemen, Mazesoba, and Clear Chinese Soba. Since they had a limited edition Cold Soba, I purchased a food ticket and waited at the counter. The restaurant has 8 counter seats and 16 table seats, with 2 male kitchen staff and 3 female service staff. Soon after, the bowl arrived. The soup was a cold soy sauce clear broth made with bonito, kelp, and chicken broth, giving it a refreshing and Japanese-style flavor with a hint of soba soup essence. This year, I've had quite a few of these Japanese-style cold noodles. The noodles were medium-thin wavy noodles, cooked slightly firm and chewy after being rinsed in cold water. The portion was average. The toppings included chashu, bamboo shoots, fried egg, chopped onion, and green onion. There were 3 slices of chashu, moist and decent. The fried egg added a nice oily richness, although the quantity might have been a bit too much. The onion provided a crunchy texture. I finished every bite. It was a reliable and classic Cold Japanese-style Soba. Thank you for the meal.

Rich chicken tsukemen at Shiodome. It had been a while since I last visited, and I noticed that there are fewer shops now. The place was crowded. Since it was hot and I couldn't decide on anything specific, I decided to try the tsukemen. The dipping sauce was a bit salty. It may be because it's rich, but it's salty. I like hot soup, but I skipped adding extra hot water because of the heat. Thanks for the meal. It's a restaurant with good customer service.

I just stopped by on a whim, so I didn't have a plan, but when I looked at the menu, everything looked delicious! I had a hard time deciding what to order, but in the end, I chose this. The soup, simmered with plenty of chicken, was very tasty and it coated the noodles well. I want to try something different next time, but at the same time, I also feel like I want to eat this again.

I went to this restaurant on the 2nd floor of Shiodome City Center for lunch again. I ordered my usual Chinese soba with the A set, which came with fried chicken. My colleague ordered the spicy miso ramen. The menu items I didn't order looked fresh and delicious.

I visited around 2 pm on a regular day. I had the rich chicken bone soy sauce ramen with a seasoned egg topping. It was around 1,000 yen, I think. The soup was rich and flavorful. If you drink too much, you might get thirsty. The noodles were thin, but they mixed well with the thick soup. Next time, I might try a lighter ramen. Thank you for the meal!

It is located on the 2nd floor of Shiodome City Center. My favorite is the Chinese ramen. I always order the A set, which comes with one side dish. It goes well with the ramen. The style is to purchase a food ticket, so ordering and paying are done at once, making the operation smooth.

Shiodome City Center store. Ticket system/counter seats and table seats available. Chinese soba (830 yen) + green onion salt bowl (250 yen). The ramen has a soup base made from bonito flakes with plenty of green onions as toppings. The medium-thick noodles are easy to slurp, but the ramen lacks a strong individual flavor. The green onion salt bowl has an addictive oily salt sauce that adds a good junky feel. The bowl was served immediately after handing in the ticket, but it would be better if it was served together with the ramen.

Located on the 2nd floor of Shiodome City Center, this restaurant is known for its rich chicken broth ramen, but their special Chinese ramen is also delicious. On this day, I chose the A set with dumplings. Lunchtime can get crowded, so I arrived around 2:00 pm and was able to secure a seat without waiting. Thank you for the delicious meal.

This is not just ordinary ramen, but an artistic ramen with the fragrance of bonito and chicken broth! The location is a bit tricky to find, but it's on the 2nd floor of the Shiodome City Center Building, you can enter from either the left or right side of the revolving door using the escalator. On the left is Tarako pasta & wine, and on the right is Menya Buichi. They collaborate with a yakitori restaurant to create the best soup and chashu. The photos show the rich chicken broth ramen and the Kyoto bonito dashi ramen. The chicken broth ramen has a rich flavor but is not heavy at all. The Kyoto bonito ramen has amazing bonito flavor and a nostalgic taste. Definitely worth a try.

Located on the 2nd floor of Shiodome City Center, this restaurant specializes in rich chicken ramen created through a collaboration between a yakitori chef and a ramen chef. The recommended dish is the collagen-rich "super rich chicken broth soup," but this time I ordered the chuka soba. It was light and very delicious. I will definitely come back again.

Menya Tsukasa's Shiodome City Center store, which had closed once, seems to have reopened. I tried their rich chicken bone soy sauce ramen. The soup here is a thick chicken broth. The rich soup paired well with the raw onions. The noodles are medium-thin. The low-temperature cooked chicken chashu goes well with the rich soup. It was a treat to visit Menya Tsukasa after a long time. Thank you for the meal.

Since the closure, I have been visiting the main store, but now that it seems to have reopened, I decided to visit the City Center branch! I had the tsukemen (salt) for 950 yen, and added the set with spicy cod roe chicken rice and 3 pieces of fried chicken for 350 yen, totaling 1,300 yen. I was completely satisfied and full after the meal.

I had a rich chicken broth ramen. The broth was flavorful with a deep richness and umami. The noodles had a good texture and paired well with the soup. The chicken chashu was moist and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

It seems like the store closed once, but reopened. It's now half the size it used to be. Upon entering the narrow entrance, there is a ticket machine and paper aprons. It specializes in rich chicken white ramen. I chose the Kyoto bonito and Hinai-jidori chicken ramen. It seems to be a bowl that combines bonito broth cooked with bonito flakes selected by a long-established wholesaler in Kyoto and a white soup made with a large amount of Hinai-jidori chicken bones. The soup was okay, but the chashu didn't suit my taste.
