Gluten-free sweets are also delicious. If you didn't know that they were made with brown rice flour instead of wheat flour, you wouldn't be able to tell. I visited the restaurant wanting to eat a dish with plenty of vegetables. I ordered the Healthy Set Meal with 39 items for 1270 yen. The main dish and 3 side dishes change daily. Today's main dish was Yannyeom mackerel. The side dishes were 1) Stir-fried eggplant and minced chicken in tan-tan style, 2) Potato and myoga salad, and 3) Wakame and bitter melon salad. The spiciness of the Yannyeom mackerel and tan-tan style stir-fry was mild, with a sweet flavor predominating. The brown rice was delicious. The miso soup with barley was also packed with vegetables. Even though it was only 600 calories, I was completely satisfied. The small soy milk pudding was a nice touch. I had a healthy lunch. Thank you for the meal.

After getting a foot reflexology massage and feeling hungry around 6pm, I went to my favorite Genzan-an restaurant's limited dinner menu at the Est branch! I had a hard time choosing between the Healthy Chicken and Various Seasonal Vegetables Karaage Don with Aburaage for a healthy and satisfying meal, and the Karaage Set with Car Fu for a crispy feel, but I went with the karaage because I was craving it! The food here is delicious, even the karaage feels gentle on the body. Whenever I feel like eating alone, Genzan-an always comes to mind (lol). There's also a musi-vege cafe near the foot reflexology massage shop, so I hesitated, but maybe next time I'll go to musi-vege cafe for their Ebi Mayo, which I haven't had in a while. I visited this place for the first time! It's been a while since my last post and dining out. During lunchtime, there were plenty of vegetables and the prices were very reasonable! They served a drinkable salad (easy-to-drink green juice) in a small cup that I finished in a moment, and also a soy milk pudding which wasn't shown in the picture. Today's daily special was Yannyeon chicken, which I thought was somewhat healthy and good for dieting. The set meal included brown rice with the option for seconds, priced at just under 1,200 yen. The miso soup had a vegetable broth and was delicious! I'm not used to eating brown rice much, but it was cooked soft and tasty. The vegetables were crunchy and delicious too. About 90% of the customers were women, and there were many people dining alone. I'll definitely visit again when I have the chance!

I visited around 1 pm on March 21, 2023. Upon arrival at the restaurant, I was promptly seated. As a solo diner, I was directed to a counter seat along the wall. The spacing was just right, so I didn't feel cramped. Today's healthy set meal was spring cabbage and shiso leaf hamburger, but since I don't like shiso, I opted for the sweet and spicy chicken bowl! The set included three side dishes, miso soup, a drinkable vegetable salad, and a dessert of soy milk pudding, just like the healthy set meal. The bowl was filled with plenty of vegetables and was very delicious. The sweet and spicy sauce went well with the rice, and the chicken, although breast meat, was very tender and tasty! I was also tempted by the Kuramafu set, but I thought it would definitely be too much food, so I passed on it. As always, the soy milk pudding for dessert was delicious!

I recently heard from a friendly natural lady about a brown rice and vegetable cafe, and I was told that it is located in the EST Food Hall. So, the fighting gentleman and I decided to check it out! The interior of the restaurant has a natural atmosphere with only female customers. It felt like paradise! We tried the "39 Ingredient Healthy Set Meal," which uses over 39 ingredients including seasonal ingredients to create a popular daily set meal with approximately 600kcal. Today's main dish was deep-fried tofu with peanut butter sauce, sweet and spicy stir-fried sweet potatoes, salted koji eggplant, hijiki and green bean salad, brown rice, and barley miso soup. First, we were served a vegetable juice which was surprisingly delicious and got us excited. The barley miso soup contained daikon radish, carrot, fried tofu, and wakame seaweed, and was light and refreshing. The hijiki and green bean salad had a tangy vinegar marinade that made us feel healthier. The salted koji eggplant was a refreshing dish. The sweet and spicy stir-fried sweet potatoes were not spicy at all, with a sweet taste and easy to eat with the skin on. The deep-fried tofu with peanut butter sauce was the only dish that went well with the brown rice, with a slightly rich flavor and satisfying texture. As someone who boosts metabolism through running, I also appreciate having a filling meal. The delicious brown rice had a delightful chewy texture that I've never experienced before. The soy milk pudding was bouncy and elastic, with a perfect sweetness and a gentle flavor that was soothing. This healthy lunch was completely new to me, and it perfectly matched my current mood. You cannot enter directly from inside the Est! There is an entrance on the north side of Est (^ ^) I have been to the West Umeda store of the same store several times, but this is my first time at the Est store. The menu is the same, with 39 daily specials and other regular menu items. This restaurant serves healthy food that tastes great, which is really wonderful. I regularly do fasting, and I rely on this place a lot for pre-fasting meals and recovery meals! Genzan'an only uses healthy ingredients, and they let you eat a wide variety of items. Even if there is meat or fish on the menu, if you say "I can't eat meat that's not crispy," they will gladly accommodate you (^ ^) The desserts are all made with whole wheat flour and black sugar, so you can enjoy them with peace of mind (^ ^) I will be starting my fasting soon, so I will be back here again soon! I have always liked Genzan'an and have been to the Tennoji and Namba branches before, but this was my first time at Umeda. I thought the food was slightly better in the past. On my way out, the checkout was a bit crowded, and I thought they should add more registers. At least one more.
