Although it is a completely unknown restaurant, there was a bar that I had personally been interested in for some time. It opens at 6 o'clock, so the timing was perfect. I emerged from the underground shopping area and searched for it on my smartphone. At 6 o'clock during this season, it is still bright outside. Although the sign of the restaurant was not lit, it seemed to be already open. The interior of the restaurant was more authentic than I had imagined, reminiscent of the Celtic atmosphere of the long-established BAR KAWASAKI in Hiroshima. Inside the counter was the gentle-faced owner and bartender. I started with a delicious Fuji Sakura beer poured from the brass draft tower overflowing with exquisite craftsmanship that could be seen across the counter. I ordered a mustard-grilled salmon canapé (500 yen) as a snack. This was delicious! It's common to have oil sardines at a bar, but salmon canapé with plenty of mustard! This is good! I should try making this at home. It's a snack that goes well with a fizzy drink. So, for the second drink, I had a gin and tonic. It's a charm that there are no lime slices in it (^^;) The owner seemed to be in his late 40s. He was a pleasant gentleman who always had a smile on his face. For the third drink, I had a can of Yona Yona beer. It was a nice place where I could spend a relaxing time, which is my preference. Although I didn't have any authentic cocktails, as mentioned on the website, it seems to be a place to enjoy craft beer and whiskey. The total bill was 3,300 yen, including a 500 yen charge. Having three drinks, eating salmon canapé, and paying this price in Umeda was a bit surprising. It's a place I would like to visit again.

There were still many other beer options, so I ordered the Yonayona beer, which I had tried and loved before at another place, as my third drink. It was also exceptional. I heard there is an even richer version of this Yonayona beer available. I couldn't try four drinks in one visit, so I plan to come back and try it next time. There is a counter with 8 seats and one table sofa seat, making it suitable for solo drinking, hanging out with 2-3 friends, or even for a date. I always go there after work.
