<2015.10 Revisit> It had been a while since my last visit. I arrived around 9 pm and the place was moderately crowded. There was one seat available at the counter, so I sat there. Since I wasn't very hungry, I only ordered 2 skewers and some appetizers along with beer and shochu. This place always feels cozy. Before I knew it, two hours had passed... I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the great meal! m(_ _)m
<2015.9 Revisit> I visited an hour before closing time. There were only two other customers. It was my second stop, so I had a bottle of black Kirishima shochu, Shimacho and chicken skin skewers, and liver skewers to finish off! The friendly nature of the owner is a standout feature of this place. I always feel relaxed when I visit. I will be back soon. I'm starting to crave some grilled offal! Thank you for the meal! m(_ _)m
<2015.9 Revisit> This time, I visited right when they opened. It was a weekday, so I was the only customer. I ended up drinking until around 10 pm and got quite drunk... This time, I focused on offal dishes. I tried the rare cut of beef abalone, and it was delicious! It had a crunchy texture that resembled abalone. They can offer dishes not listed on the menu depending on their supplies, making it an enjoyable place. Thank you for the meal! m(_ _)m
<2015.8 Revisit> I revisited because it's nearby. I ended up ordering a bottle of black Kirishima shochu, and I feel like I'll be at this place one or two times a week from now on... This time, I brought my wife along to have a good time. We stayed until closing time, sorry about that. I haven't tried all the dishes listed on the menu yet, so I plan to visit as the first stop next time. I'm thinking of challenging various menu items next time. Thank you for the meal! m(_ _)m
<2015.8 First Visit> I had been wanting to visit this place since moving nearby. It was always full when I passed by, so I couldn't visit. One day, I mustered up the courage to enter since it was early and there was a seat at the counter! It was actually my third stop that day, so I couldn't deny that I relied on the power of alcohol... The place, to be honest, is not very spacious, but it doesn't feel cramped. Since I was dining alone, I was seated at the counter. I ordered a bit conservatively, but the chicken skin with ponzu sauce, white tare, chicken skin tare, two appetizers, one beer, one Maou, three sake, all grilled chicken skewers with tare were ordered. The tare sauce was homemade and to my liking. It had a good balance of sweetness and saltiness. The cucumber pickles appetizer was refreshing. The pork belly daikon, made by the owner's wife, was also delicious with a gentle flavor. I couldn't try other dishes due to my reduced stomach capacity... There were various menu options, so I plan to gradually try them out. By the time I reached the third stop, the speed of alcohol consumption increased, and my memory became a bit fuzzy... However, I could feel the warmth of the owner and his wife! It's a nice cozy izakaya with a personal touch. The customers varied from individuals to groups. The owner and his wife even remembered the names of the customers! Since I visited alone, the owner entertained me while cooking. They created a very comfortable atmosphere, and I had a great time. Thank you! I also got some information about the area.
