(See 3rd photo) "I'm not particularly into spicy food," but I recently realized that I have a higher tolerance than average. So, I bought this and tried it. But... surprisingly, it was moderately spicy. I was surprised by how much they liked Shatorēze, but it was just to increase the number of stores I visited (laughs). I bought a few items of Western-style sweets priced in the 100 yen range, which tasted consistent as always. It's not a big deal, but the fact that the quality is so good for such a low price, especially in the first half of the 100 yen range, is impressive. The Panda Pudding a la Mode was huge! The Shortcake, however, felt surprisingly cheap in terms of the sponge part for a cake from Chateraise. Unusual.

After taking revenge at Panlabo, I looked across the street and saw a Chateraise store. I had searched for Chateraise stores in Kitakyushu city before to write reviews for another store, and this particular store had zero reviews, which made me feel sorry for it. I thought it was a bit unfair of me not to leave a review, so I decided to visit the Chateraise store this time. The store is located along a main road, but the position of the store is quite high up, making it less noticeable from the road. Next to it are McDonald's and Sanryu, and the parking lots are connected, so you can easily visit all three stores without having to go back to the main road. I originally planned to buy ice cream at Sanryu, but when I saw some new flavors at Chateraise, I decided to try them out. I bought two flavors that caught my eye, Lemon the Super and Golden Pineapple Fruit Texture Bar. The Lemon the Super had a strong sour taste, similar to a lemon ice cream bar I used to enjoy from a convenience store. The Golden Pineapple Fruit Texture Bar was soft and had a delicious pineapple flavor. I also tried the Rum Raisin Bussel and Lemon and Orange Bussel, both of which were impressive. The Rum Raisin Bussel had a strong rum flavor, while the Lemon and Orange Bussel had a gentle citrus taste. It reminded me of a childhood snack called Morocco Yogurt. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to Chateraise and would recommend trying out their unique flavors.
