I was curious about it but had never visited, so I decided to stop by for a quick drink before a late lunch appointment in Fukushima. From JR Fukushima Station, I walked a bit further back to "Fukumaru Street 57" and found the "Hankyu OASIS Fukushima Fukumaru Street 57 store." It's a somewhat upscale food supermarket with an eat-in space on the second floor where you can bring your own purchases to enjoy. It was a Sunday afternoon on a holiday, around 1 pm, and it was quite relaxed and spacious. They had a good selection of drinks and snacks, and I couldn't decide what to get. Eventually, I settled on a cold large bottle of beer, some meat snacks, and fried snacks. I brought my items to a table in the eat-in area, which was comfortable and had a high-end feel to it. I borrowed a wine glass and a bottle opener and enjoyed my Asahi Super Dry beer, pork tongue slices, and special fried chicken skin chips. The eat-in space was so cozy and cool, with charging outlets available, making it a perfect place to relax. I stayed for about 40 minutes and had a great time. After that, I met up with a friend for a noodle lunch, and we decided to come back to Fukumaru Street 57 for highball drinks and more. It seems we found a new favorite spot! I feel a little hesitant to post about the eat-in area at the supermarket, but this eat-in area is a bit different! You can buy meat at the supermarket and cook it on the spot to eat. Unfortunately, it was full today. Everyone is drinking alcohol and grilling meat even in the middle of the day. The first-floor food section also has a wide variety of deli items. Today, I gave up on the meat and got a seafood sushi assortment for 580 yen, which was decent. One thing I'm happy about at this supermarket is the DIY dried fruits section. There are two types of bags, one for 580 yen and one for 980 yen. The dried fruits I packed for 580 yen last time were all quite delicious! There are plenty of varieties. This time, I packed the good dried fruits from last time into the 980 yen bag. It's nice that they have a new luggage storage area! The mango, apple, strawberry, and orange are all delicious. When packing, make sure to spread the bottom of the bag wide open and press firmly in between. It's fun and delicious to pack your own dried fruits!

After having lunch at Fukusenro, my partner wanted to visit Fukumaru Street in Fukushima. The weather was nice, so we decided to take a leisurely stroll to Fukushima. We arrived at Fukumaru Street around 1:30 pm. Although the weather was good, there was no direct sunlight due to the guardrails. My partner felt a bit cold, so we decided to step into this place for a while. I knew that you could eat in here, but I thought it was just a supermarket... However, they also had a great selection of alcohol and snacks! And you can even eat freshly grilled meat here! So, let's start with some craft beer! - Golden IPA (J-CRAFT) 300 yen It was on sale, so the 500 yen draft beer was only 300 yen! I had to try it. It had a bitter and strong alcohol taste with a hint of citrus aroma, a typical IPA flavor. Let's have another craft beer. - Refreshing Weizen (J-CRAFT) 300 yen A collaboration with Ginga Kogen Beer. As soon as I took a sip, I could smell tropical fruity aroma! They also have foreign beers here. - Stella Artois A Belgian beer, light and refreshing. It might be a bit lacking in flavor though. For snacks, we had: - Olive Oil Marinated Cheese 398 yen A marinated mix of cheese, olives, and salami. Perfect for nibbling on while drinking! My partner had hot coffee and takoyaki. I also shared some takoyaki. There are power outlets, corkscrews, wine openers, and wine glasses available on the table. The atmosphere is not bad for a supermarket eat-in experience. The snacks are quite satisfying for a supermarket. It's not like having pintxos or tapas at a bar, and it's mostly self-service, but the atmosphere is not too bad. It's perfect for braving the cold and wind in the upcoming season! The seats are a bit cramped, but it's not too crowded, so you can spend a relatively relaxed time here. From the window seats, you can see the trains on the circular line, so it might be recommended for train enthusiasts. If I have the chance to visit Fukushima again, I would like to stop by for a drink. Thank you for the meal.

I came here for lunch at an odd time when most places are closed, so I thought, why not have some meat! It seems like they might be short-staffed (I always think that when I don't see many employees around, haha). I wasn't sure about the system, and one staff member was busy with another customer, so I had to wait. I found out that you can also buy packed meat, not just from the showcase. I was planning to buy beer from the counter, but since there was no one there, I decided to grab a canned beer and glass myself. However, there was only one glass left, and it wasn't clean, so I had to ask for a replacement, but no one was around to help, haha. The meat corner didn't have much space to put down your items, but it's okay if you're just grabbing some meat quickly. I'm not sure about the cost-performance ratio, but it was nice that you could eat the meat with lemon juice.

A new Hankyu Oasis has opened under the elevated tracks at Shin-Fukushima Station. You can also bring in food from Mercapaseo nearby. I brought in chicken nuggets. They are cheap and delicious. You can also bring in other foods like meat, sushi, and eel. It's convenient.

You can enjoy freshly grilled meat in a place like this. You get to open it yourself. The staff will secretly tell you about the special meat deals. It's a fun place. I highly recommend it. Thank you for the meal. Thank you.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice. The taste of the soba was not bad. However, I was put off by the strong smell of cologne from the male staff. If it weren't for that, I would consider revisiting.

After returning from the Noda Fuji Festival, I walked back to UMD from NDHS and stopped here to do some shopping. It was my first time visiting the "Hankyu Oasis," so I was a bit nervous. The selection of food was excellent, and I immediately found something I liked - the paella. I bought enough for two people. Overall, the variety of food was great, and I definitely want to come back again.
