The location was amazing! The restaurant had a sophisticated atmosphere that you wouldn't expect from a yakitori place, and we enjoyed delicious chicken dishes. This restaurant is highly recommended for dates or business meals. Here's what we had that day: - Invincible egg yolk (truly invincible!) - Tsukune Sakura mousse fruit cheese - Chicken sashimi - Grilled chicken thigh/wings - Shiso salad - Grilled chicken neck/tail - Grilled tsukune with black pepper - New onion potage soup - Grilled gizzard - Grilled chicken skin - Karaage (fried chicken) - Soup - Oyakodon (ultimate oyakodon, so creamy and flavorful, and very filling!) It was amazing! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

They use Yamagata Hinai-Jidori chicken instead of Akita Hinai-Jidori chicken. It's a bit complicated because during the coronavirus pandemic, the distribution of Akita Hinai-Jidori chicken stopped and on those days they say it will be Akita Hinai-Jidori chicken. Appetizers include meatballs, ham with soft-boiled egg, chicken sashimi salad, liver paste, various grilled chicken skewers, mushrooms and deep-fried tofu, and chicken porridge. The dessert is pudding. Everything went smoothly as usual.

Maekawa, a brand of Hinai-jidori chicken, is a bit expensive, but it is undeniably delicious, so I end up going there. They are the only ones outside of Akita prefecture that use Hinai-jidori chicken, which is recognized for its quality. The drink menu, especially the wine selection, is extensive, which is a plus for those who enjoy drinking. On this day, I opted for the 9000 yen course. The dish of mushrooms, tofu, and Hinai-jidori chicken in a sauce was a first for me, and the flavor of the chicken, possibly marinated, was deep and perfect for the cold season. The white bowl of clear broth with noodles floating in it was satisfying, with less fat compared to before, which I preferred.

Ginza has seen an increase in high-end yakitori restaurants. MAEKAWA, known for its Hinai-jidori chicken, is a high-end establishment with a relatively easy reservation system and a striking white interior that I enjoy. They offer three course options, but if you don't need dessert, the cheapest one is sufficient. Sometimes, I like to order a bottle of wine to share with two or three people, opting for a dry one after seeking recommendations from the master or chef, as I'm not very knowledgeable about wine. Choosing intuitively based on their suggestions works well. Since this yakitori place uses salt-based seasoning, the wine pairs well with the food. Chilled white wine and yakitori help soothe the summer heat.

A renowned restaurant in Ginza, maekawa, has been specializing in chicken dishes for 20 years. The chef, maekawa, has truly fallen in love with the cuisine that fully utilizes the Hinai-jidori chicken from Shonai Handmade Farm in Yamagata Prefecture. The Hinai-jidori chicken that maekawa fell in love with is raised in a rich natural environment, fed with high-quality feed over 180 days, and only uses female chickens that have stored nutrients just before laying eggs. The premium Hinai-jidori chicken, which is delivered directly from the chicken farm, is butchered whole at the restaurant, allowing you to enjoy fresh parts that cannot be found elsewhere. I started with a glass of champagne for a toast and then switched to white wine as I opted for the course menu. First, I had the Hinai-jidori chicken tamago kake gohan, which was exquisite. The sashimi of chicken breast was also elegant and had a nice sweetness to it. The soup made with onions and black garlic that had been simmered for a long time was fantastic - I wanted to stock it at home. The yakitori was prepared according to the chef's recommendations of the day, carefully grilled with Bincho charcoal from Minabe-cho, Wakayama Prefecture, and seasoned with natural sea salt from Aguni Island, Okinawa Prefecture, to bring out the unique umami and flavor of the Hinai-jidori chicken. The famous zosui (rice soup) and the legendary pudding were both full of flavor and very satisfying. The selection of sake was a bit limited compared to champagne and wine, but overall it was a great experience.

Suddenly, I felt like eating yakitori, especially with chewy Hichinai Jidori chicken, so I called Maekawa-san. Luckily, there were only 3 seats available. I immediately made a reservation and visited the restaurant, where indeed there were few customers inside. I wanted to eat quickly, so I ordered a course meal. The chicken dishes were served promptly, and I enjoyed them while sipping on wine. The restaurant's specialty is seasoning with salt only, as the owner believes that sauce would muddy the flavor of the chicken. For dessert, I had a pudding made with Hichinai Jidori chicken eggs, not too sweet with a rich egg flavor.

I also think that this restaurant is suitable for "entertaining clients", as many other reviews mention. Just like everyone else, I was also invited for a business dinner. The attention to detail and care from the owner and staff was truly impressive. Despite being busy serving other group customers, they always made sure to check on our plates and refill our glasses before they were empty. It was truly impressive. Dining in such a well-maintained and orderly space was very pleasant. I don't eat "chicken dishes" often, so I don't know much about them, but from the sashimi to the grilled dishes to the finale, everything was top-notch! The food was prepared in a way that truly allowed us to taste the ingredients. Both the food and the conversation were of high quality. I would definitely want to use maekawa again when I need top-notch service. *We had a variety of dishes, but the finale of warm noodles was outstanding. This simple dish truly showcases the essence of maekawa.

Located in the high-rise building in Ginza, this restaurant offers private rooms separated by frosted glass and counter seats with a great view of Tokyo Tower in the distance. Unlike traditional yakitori restaurants, this place serves creative yakitori dishes in a trendy atmosphere. The variety of dishes at a reasonable price makes it a satisfying dining experience. The reviewer enjoyed a course menu with dishes like onsen tamago, premium Hichinai chicken skewers, salad, Hichinai chicken pate, fried shiitake mushrooms and taro, and a delicious dish called "Invincible Ranou's zosui yakitori." The atmosphere and wine selection made the experience feel worthwhile, even though the reviewer ended up drinking too much.

I received a course meal. The first dish was vegetable chips, dried tomatoes, and cheese. I didn't find it tasty, just looked nice. The grilled dishes were overall salty, but juicy and delicious. The chicken breast was very delicious. The sashimi included chicken breast, heart, and liver. I'm not a fan of organ meats, but they were tasty without any unpleasant smell. The salad was colorful and delicious. The dressing was also tasty! The finale was a hot pot with a lot of fat. It wasn't delicious. For dessert, there was pudding, which was average. The interior was mainly white, located on the 11th floor of a building so you can see Tokyo Tower and enjoy the night view, which adds to the nice atmosphere.

I went with my boss, thinking it would be a casual yakitori place, but it turned out to be a nice restaurant with a white theme and a view of Tokyo Tower. The dishes were delicious and the plates were stylish. They even had counter seats where you could see the clean kitchen. The whole grilled chicken was especially tasty!

Located on the 11th floor of a building in Ginza, as soon as you get off the elevator, the entrance of the shop has a luxurious and beautiful image. The interior of the shop is very clean and beautiful, with a predominantly white color scheme. The back wall is a glass window, offering a great view of Tokyo Tower. The cleanliness and attention to detail in the kitchen were impressive. The manager was very humble and friendly. We opted for the course menu, which was beautifully presented and had a sense of luxury. The variety of alcohol options was also impressive. The restaurant was busy even on a weekday evening, with both counter and table seating available. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were friendly. The chicken dishes were carefully prepared and delicious. Overall, it was a lovely restaurant with a unique feel. The manager personally took care of the bill, returning our belongings, and even seeing us off at the elevator. His humble and friendly demeanor, along with the cleanliness and atmosphere of the restaurant, stood out. It may not be the most cost-effective option due to its location, but it is a great choice for a special occasion. Sorry for the messy writing, but I really appreciated the manager's attitude.笑

Compared to many fake restaurants with the name "Hinaijidori" in their name, this restaurant was recommended to me by a senior and I have been using it multiple times since then. The view from the 11th floor of the building is great, suitable for dates, but I always prefer the private rooms. The interior, predominantly white, is dazzlingly beautiful, despite being a yakitori place. There are two private rooms available, one for 4 people and the other for 6. Today, I brought a guest and we had the 8800 yen course. We started with a toast with draft beer. The appetizers included 4 dishes, with highlights like the creamy Hinaijidori onsen tamago with cheese, and freshly fried mushroom fries. The Hinaijidori sashimi platter with breast meat, gizzard, and tenderloin was seasoned with coarse salt and was delicious. The grilled Hinaijidori breast meat and wings were crispy and juicy. The seasonal salad provided a refreshing break. The grilled Hinaijidori skewers were flavorful and the chest meat tsukune and gizzard had great textures. The chilled chestnut pumpkin potage was unexpectedly delightful. The fried Hinaijidori with eggplant was well-seasoned and tasty. The Hinaijidori noodles in soup with plenty of green onions were a satisfying end to the meal. The unbeatable Ran-oh pudding for dessert was rich yet light. The restaurant mainly offers wine and sake, with no shochu or whiskey, but it is a great place for entertaining guests. I had about two glasses of shochu and the total bill came to around 13000 yen.

Maekawa in Ginza took me out for my birthday. The all-white interior and stylish staff uniforms gave it a chic vibe that didn't feel like a typical yakitori restaurant, creating a unique atmosphere. We ordered a la carte, including salads, small dishes, and the luxurious Hichinai chicken, all of which were delicious and made the experience feel special. While I don't often visit yakitori restaurants in Ginza, I would love to bring someone special here on a special occasion. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

On January 11, 2012, I had a dinner meeting with someone from an investment bank at a restaurant in the middle of Ginza. The restaurant had a white interior and we were seated in a private room. We ordered a course meal and started with beer. The drink menu also had a variety of sweet potato shochu. The restaurant, with a history of 20 years as a skewers place, served authentic chicken dishes. We started with delicious grilled chicken skewers made from Hichinai chicken. The meat was flavorful and satisfying. The salt-grilled chicken skewers were also delicious. We also enjoyed grilled thigh meat, breast meat, and liver pate. The meal ended with egg rice porridge, which was made with great attention to detail in chicken dishes. It was a very enjoyable dinner meeting and I highly recommend this restaurant.
