Shinjuku Naniwa Sakaba in Kabukicho, Shinjuku~. It opens from 3:30 pm on weekdays, so you can start drinking early, which is great~. On weekends, it opens at 2 pm, and the interior of the restaurant is clean and has a sense of cleanliness. The main seating is at tables, but there are also counter seats, so you can easily come alone!! First, I had a refreshing ◆draft beer, ice-cold and delicious~. It quenches my thirst◆Naniwa special Japanese-style Caesar salad, with slices of boiled eggs and a generous amount of dressing that is not too heavy.◆Premium creamy soft-boiled egg, you eat it with ketchup on menchi-katsu, giving it a Western touch. The creamy soft-boiled egg goes well with the ground meat. You can order the special grilled skewers individually, but they come in sets of 2 each◆Special green onion skewer◆Special chicken wing tip The green onion was actually onion, not green onion. Eating it with the specialty lemon sour from the tavern is the best. If you're unsure about the food, you can't go wrong with the signature dishes of bluefin tuna and Naniwa dumplings. The staff is friendly and the restroom is separate for men and women, creating an atmosphere where even women can feel comfortable. It's located in the bustling area of Kabukicho Ichibangai, but you can drink in a relaxed atmosphere and feel safe~(*^^*)

Located just after passing through the Kabukicho sign, this izakaya offers grilled chicken skewers for 100 yen, and highballs and sours for 280 yen. Until 6 pm, you can also get draft beer for 280 yen, making it a popular spot for daytime drinking. This time, I opted for the all-you-can-drink option. For 1500 yen (excluding tax), you can enjoy all-you-can-drink with draft beer, which seems like a good deal. From the special menu, I selected salted raw liver of Nagoya Cochin, soft-boiled egg menchi katsu, country-style meat tofu, Osaka-style grilled dumplings, and quail eggs. The salted liver had no unpleasant odor and the texture matched well with salt and sesame oil. The soft-boiled egg menchi katsu had a whole egg inside, similar to a scotch egg, making it quite filling. The meat tofu was different from my expectation, more like a Japanese-style mapo tofu cooked in a clay pot, which I enjoyed. The Osaka-style grilled dumplings had wings attached but the skin was chewy and filled with juicy meat, which I also liked. All the dishes were seasoned well to pair with alcohol, so I was able to get my money's worth with the all-you-can-drink option, although I didn't get to try their specialty grilled chicken skewers due to being too full. I'll have to save that for next time. The restaurant is open until 4 am, making it a good option for a second or third stop on a night out.

After an event at Isetan in Shinjuku, my friend and I were looking for a place to have a quick drink and maybe something to eat because it was too hot. We ended up finding a nice little restaurant near the entrance of Kabukicho and decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. The stir-fried bean sprouts, leeks, and carrots were fresh and crunchy. We also tried a unique dish - candied amber walnuts from Hong Kong, which were a hit. The special salted liver sashimi was a treat for sashimi lovers like me. The shrimp mayo was drowning in delicious mayonnaise, perfect for mayo lovers. We then ordered some hot and crispy minced meat cutlets, which were nostalgic and tasty. Lastly, we had fried lotus root skewers, which I couldn't resist because I love lotus root. The restaurant was clean, efficient, and located on the 1st floor for easy access. Overall, a great experience.

As soon as you enter Kabukicho, there's a shop where you can enjoy all-you-can-drink without draft beer for 980 yen for 90 minutes. The yakisoba was particularly delicious! It's quite spicy but has a delicious taste that keeps you coming back for more. It's made with instant noodles, but that's what makes the flavor stand out. If you're not a fan of spicy food, you might find it too intense. The interior of the shop is clean and very nice. Thank you for the meal.

The country-style meat tofu had a sweet sauce and a creamy texture that was comforting and warming, perfect for cold days. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was clean and spacious, with friendly staff and a welcoming vibe. It was crowded but easy to get a seat, and many groups of friends were enjoying themselves. The taste was decent for an izakaya in Kabukicho. The service was efficient, even though the place was busy and there were some challenging moments. The staff that day were quick on their feet. The waiter was a foreign student and provided attentive service. The food was authentic and very delicious. The layout is compact at the entrance like an eel's bed, but stretches long towards the back with about 7 counter seats, and 2-seater and 4-seater tables. The food overall gives a high-quality impression. - Beef Harami Skewers: The beef harami here is incredibly tender! - Osaka-style Gyoza (6 pieces): The handmade chewy skin, lots of wings, and just the right amount of Chinese spices make this gyoza a satisfying dish. - Special Salted Liver: A dish of low-temperature cooked Nagoya Cochin liver, eaten with sesame oil and salt, giving a taste similar to raw liver sashimi. - Fresh Tuna Sashimi: Directly delivered from Nagasaki, this fresh tuna sashimi is enjoyed with wasabi soy sauce and then with sesame oil and salt. - Yakitori (Zucchini, Quail, Heart): No frozen products used in this yakitori. I went to Naniwa Sakaba this time and had a great experience. The atmosphere was calm and cozy, and the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. I went drinking in Shinjuku on this day~♪ I discovered a clean and neat izakaya in Kabukicho, which was quite unexpected. It seemed like a newly opened restaurant in June. We were seated at a table and tried the following dishes: - Homemade amber walnut liquor: I thought it would have a sweet and salty flavor to go with the liquor, but it was actually a sweet walnut coated with honey. It seems to go well with wine or whiskey rather than beer. - Osaka-style grilled dumplings (6 pieces): These round dumplings reminded me of white dumplings. The skin was not as thick as white dumplings, but it was chewy and delicious! The filling was packed and very juicy. It's recommended to eat it in one bite (be prepared for the juicy filling to spill out). - Baked potato cheese: I thought it was a common menu item, but this one was like mashed potatoes! Creamy with a good amount of salt, it's a perfect snack with alcohol. A must-try for potato and cheese lovers. - Beef harami skewer: Tender and delicious♡ - French fries: I was starting to feel full, but these are the kind of snacks you can nibble on (lol). - Onigiri: I wanted to eat rice at the end, so I ordered this. Overall, I spent about an hour and a half here, enjoying plenty of beer and Hoppy. The newly opened restaurant had a clean and fresh interior. Smoking is allowed, so sometimes there is smoke inside, but aside from that, this is a good value and honest izakaya. The Satsuma chicken skewers are especially recommended.
