I was searching for a hotel around Shin-Osaka and found that booking on Agoda was surprisingly cheap. The Tokyu REI Hotel was offering a room with breakfast included for 8,852 yen. It seemed like a good deal, so I made a reservation (although I ended up feeling anxious and called to confirm two days before, I'm a bit of a worrier). I was able to stay without any issues in the end. When I woke up and headed to the breakfast buffet, I found out it cost 2,100 yen. Quite expensive. The restaurant, Delicious Kitchen EMONDEL, had a variety of Osaka-style dishes, which might be enjoyable for tourists. However, I didn't feel particularly excited. I did try a mini pork bun though, which was delicious. Thank you for the tasty breakfast. With this cost performance, I would love to stay here every time. Now, time to head out. Thank you for the meal! Additional note: When I left the hotel, I noticed a "Sanuki Udon Merikenya" right in front of me. I had eaten there with a heavy heart when saying goodbye to Takamatsu, so it shouldn't be here.

An elegantly crafted afternoon tea, each item made with care. It's cute and delicious, making you smile. Osaka's specialty egg "Master Egg Pudding a la Mode" with prosciutto, kushikatsu... The takoyaki-style cream puff is filled generously! Everything is delicious. And when you're engrossed in conversation and your drink runs out, they kindly offer you more tea. Both black tea and coffee are okay - a nice service! The premium honey black tea was delicious with a natural sweetness.

While wandering around before shopping in Esaka, I found Lunch Easel on the first floor of REI Hotel and decided to go in. You choose your main dish and then enjoy the buffet. I chose the pork steak as my main dish, while my partner went for the beef stew. There was a wide variety of dishes in the buffet, and they kept coming out before running low. As expected from a hotel, the food was good! The atmosphere was very pleasant, with calm customers around. There were plenty of dessert options, and we ended up feeling full. The hotel staff were attentive, regularly checking in and even coming to pour coffee. I will definitely come back again.

Today, a year-end party was held at lunchtime! I was the only one from Kyoto, so I felt a bit lonely, but I was able to join in with four friends from Nara Prefecture! It was a fun party with singing and dancing! Beer, wine, highballs - thank you for the lunchtime drinks!

The hotel where I stayed before heading home, tired from walking at USJ, was Tokyu REI Hotel Shin-Osaka Esaka. It is located above the memorable Tokyu Hands. It used to be Tokyu Hotel, but it seems to have changed its interior and name through renovation. Unlike the Takasaki Hands, this Hands has a wide variety of craft materials on the 1st and 2nd floors. I was so busy that I forgot to visit it. For breakfast, I went to the Shangri-La restaurant on the 2nd floor for a buffet. They had takoyaki, doteyaki, mini okonomiyaki, and other delicious Kansai specialties. Although most of the food is frozen, the atmosphere is enjoyable. It was the first time I had takoyaki for breakfast since the Granvia Osaka at JR Osaka Station. There were both Japanese and Western dishes, but the variety of Western side dishes was a bit limited. The impression was that there were more options for Japanese dishes. Of course, they also had curry. The price was 1500 yen for adults and 750 yen for children in elementary school or older. It was nice to be able to take coffee back to the room. A slightly luxurious breakfast during the trip is not bad at all.

Had dinner in Osaka and stayed in Jusaka the next day. The orange water in front of the front desk was delicious. The room was fairly clean. There is a power outlet next to the pillow, wifi is available. Free bottled water is available. The bathroom is a bit old, and the shower head is annoying because it saves water. The amenities are from Shiseido Lumondor. The body towel is easy to use. The hairdryer is old and needs to be pressed to turn on. Breakfast included takoyaki, yakisoba, doteyaki, and Takatsuki udon dumplings. I didn't really understand, but it was full of Osaka vibes and was good. The omelette guy looked bored even though it was crowded.

This is a business hotel located right by Esaka Station, heading north on the Midosuji Line from Shin-Osaka. Guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet featuring Osaka specialties such as takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and various types of kushikatsu. For lunch, you can choose between a main meat or fish dish, and enjoy a buffet of bread, rice, salad, soup, drinks, and desserts. I ate too much again today! 😄

Breakfast was fantastic and the hotel was very clean.

We made a reservation with JTB and stayed with our family. It is convenient as it is close to the station. It was our first time in Esaka. The omelette and croissants for breakfast were delicious.
