A new Super KoYo has opened at the intersection of Sakaisuji and Minami Kuboji in Osaka. This area only had a Fresco supermarket, so there wasn't a proper supermarket around. I have been to the Minami Mori-machi store a few times. The selection of fresh foods is excellent, with a variety of fish and meats, including some high-end options. The deli section also has a good variety of options, including bento boxes with small portions and dishes made with multigrain rice that would appeal to women. It seems very convenient and could be as useful as Seijo Ishii.

The Koyo supermarket here used to have a lot of high-end specialty products from Nissei, making it seem like a department store when it first opened. Now it has become more of a budget-friendly supermarket, although the prices are still relatively high. The vegetable packs, especially mushrooms, are very small, which may be suitable for single-person households looking to try a variety of ingredients without wasting any. Overall, it is recommended for those living alone.

I was surprised to see that even supermarkets are listed on Tabelog. Tabelog is amazing. I remember visiting Koyo, which is located on a corner next to McDonald's, near Nagahori, a couple of times when I had to work late. I was lucky to find that the bread was half price at that time. Everyone was rushing to buy them. It was a time sale. I bought extra bread to satisfy my hunger and for breakfast the next day. The bread is quite authentic (it seems like they are partnered with a bakery shop) and delicious. And to think it was half price, like the price of convenience store bread, it was a great deal. If I have the chance to visit during a time sale again, I will definitely go.

There is also a supermarket called Fresco nearby, but I think this supermarket is bigger and has a better selection of products compared to Fresco. The prices may be slightly higher than a regular supermarket, but they do have some good deals on certain items. However, when it comes to their deli items, the portion size seems small for the price, so it might not be worth it at regular price. About 1-2 hours before closing time, they put half-price stickers on the deli items (there are already 20-30% off stickers a few hours before), so if you go to buy them at half price, you might think, "Oh, at this price, this portion size is not too bad after all" (laughs).

For a little shopping to go with my drinks!! I bought some shumai pizza and dashimaki. The shumai is always a reliable choice and goes well with alcohol. The pizza is a good size for one person and reasonably priced, more like a full meal than just a snack. As for the dashimaki, I probably won't buy it again.

Franchise supermarket of AEON operating in the Kansai region. Rice is hard and tasteless. Chicken meat has a strange seasoning. However, the cost performance is great. Similar to the "My Basket" in the Kanto region, it's okay if you are only looking for cost performance.
