I was worried about whether I could relax and enjoy myself in the noisy basement of Shinsaibashi Parco, but I couldn't resist the temptation of free admission with a movie ticket and opened the door. The interior of the store was calm, completely different from the neon-filled outside. While it didn't completely block out the noise from outside, there was definitely effort put into soundproofing. The noise level was just right, almost like a pleasant background noise that enhanced the calm atmosphere of the store. It was a Japanese whiskey bar, and the uniformity of the labels on the bottles gave a sense of Japanese refinement. It was refreshing to see the bottles lined up in a way that didn't compete with each other in terms of design, as is often the case on bar shelves. When I mentioned that I often enjoy bourbon, the kind bartender recommended a whiskey from Hiroshima. When I asked for it neat, he provided a small pitcher of water for me to add a splash myself, which was a service I had never experienced before and made me happy because I enjoy adding a splash of water halfway through. We also chatted about the differences between the bar scenes in Nara and Osaka, making it a fun time. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I visited at 2:01 pm. It was open at 2:00 pm, so it was the third stop of the 7th day of the PARCO Shinsaibashi neon food street stamp rally. This place has a sophisticated atmosphere and offers Japanese whisky for whisky lovers. It's a wonderful bar. I tried the Common Ball, a special menu for the 1st anniversary of the Shinsaibashi neon food street. It was a light and delicate glass of Ichiro's malt & grain whisky, which was refreshing and delicious. I also had a Mystia Ball, a French muscat wine, which seemed a bit too sweet after drinking Ichiro's whiskey and soda.

I visited the 1st anniversary of Shinsaibashi PARCO underground! When you enter the store, you will be overwhelmed by the number of Japanese whiskies lined up at the back counter. There are not even 10 types of Scotch or Bourbon combined, and I have never seen a bar with such a carefully selected lineup. Especially Japanese whiskies like Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Hibiki are famous and hard to come by! Perhaps because it was early in the day, there was only one staff member. As part of the 1st anniversary celebration, a special Mojito made with Ichiro's Malt was being offered at a discounted price. - Ichiro's Malt Mojito ¥440 I was shown the process of making it, and a small amount of dry vermouth was used to balance the varied flavors. This apparently serves as a bridging role. I took a sip of the carefully made Mojito. Mmm! This whisky Mojito is great! It is lighter without the richness or sweetness typically found in rum. It goes down smoothly, and the refreshing mint aroma is really nice. It's easy to drink and delicious, so you can gulp it down! The bartender's demeanor was also very gentle, and it seemed like he was the assistant manager that day. Here, you can enjoy a wide selection of carefully selected Japanese whiskies and tasty cocktails. In a sea of lively shops, this bar is tucked away in the furthest corner, giving it a hidden gem vibe. Being able to use the whole floor in this way is a major plus point!

There are many whiskies available, and the elderly bartender recommends one for you. I always use it for the first meeting, so he serves me something that won't interfere with my meal afterwards. I can feel the professional skills of the bartender. It's located in the corner of Parco underground, so you have to pass through flashy neon lights and young people, which makes me a little nervous. But once you get there, it feels like a different world. It's an authentic bar with a calm atmosphere.

I went to Japanese Craft Whisky Bar common at Shinsaibashi Parco B2 with my friends on a Saturday evening. It is a quiet and lovely place, different from the bustling bar scene. We tried many Japanese whiskies and enjoyed a tasting session. The master was knowledgeable and explained everything well, creating a great atmosphere. The service and ambiance were excellent, and I would love to visit again. I came here to catch up on the trends, but I also plan to continue learning more on my next visit.

Today, I visited "Japanese Craft Whiskey Bar Common" located on the basement 2nd floor of Shinsaibashi PARCO, which opened last month. The bar is themed around art and culture, creating a glamorous and extraordinary atmosphere just by walking around. Unlike other shops, this place has a calm and sophisticated ambiance. It was a delight to be able to enjoy authentic whiskey from lunchtime, with a lineup of rare whiskeys on the menu. I also tried a whiskey-based cocktail, which was delicious. It was a happy moment to be able to drink at a bar from 2:00 pm. Although my stay was only about an hour, it was a very satisfying time for a quick drink. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
