I tried various dishes such as Kizoku-yaki, spicy tsukune, and cheese. Kizoku-yaki is a dish made with green onions and chicken breast meat, which is quite satisfying to eat. The chicken breast meat has a good texture and taste. The tsukune was delicious as always, very consistent in quality.

My companion was hungry and wanted to eat Toriki's kama-meshi, so we went there without using alchemy. We had a toast with Megahai. What we had was:
- Flavored boiled egg: It was sweet, maybe a bit too sweet. I prefer it a bit more runny.
- Chicken harumaki with plum: It had a good texture and was delicious. I liked the shiso more than the plum.
- Chicken thigh yakitori: It was crispy and tender, with a great flavor.
- Chicken kama-meshi: It was a bit plain today. It was tasty, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, it was a stable meal. Thank you!

I really want to have a casual gathering for socially awkward and poor people. Everyone bring your own Taisho Kampo Stomach Medicine. Nobility Yaki. Great value for money. There is a wonderful banquet course available, but I can't gather four friends. Ugh. I'm drunk right now, but when you're drunk, your true feelings come out, right??

I went to Torikizoku for the first time and thought it was great because you can eat plenty of yakitori at a cheap price!

This is a cozy izakaya with a stable atmosphere. I had beer, highball, 3 types of yakitori, and 3 appetizers for about 1500 yen per person. If you're unsure, this place is the most reliable choice.

I ordered Momokoku-yaki sauce, salt, spices, tsukune sauce, edamame, chicken karaage, chicken white broth noodles, Mega Highball, cola highball, and ginger highball. It was affordable, the portions were generous, so I plan to visit again.

JR Ikebukuro Station North Exit, within 5 minutes walk, no Wi-Fi, charging plugs available. I arrived around 19:30 and it's located right in the West First Street. Many of the staff were young and friendly. There was a bit of a wait because the restaurant was full, but I was seated after about 10 minutes. As expected from a popular chain restaurant, seats fill up quickly. The food came out quickly, and the staff were attentive in clearing empty plates and glasses, so both the service and the food were satisfying.

After quickly finishing up a meeting at "Beer Pub Camden Nishiguchi store," the main event of the day was my first challenge at Torikizoku Ikebukuro Kitaguchi store. It was a Friday night around 6:30 pm, surprisingly not too crowded, and we were seated at a cozy table for two. We had a great view of the staff grilling the yakitori right in front of us, which was pretty cool! Before my friend arrived, I toasted with a draft beer and started ordering through the table tap, which was convenient and fast. We ordered various yakitori, salads, and side dishes, but we had to eat the yakitori quickly as they tend to lose their taste when cold. We ended up chatting and eating for about 4 hours, and the bill came out to be only 2400 yen per person, which was a steal! The overall rating would be 3.3 stars. The place was surprisingly busy, so it seems quite popular. Since there are 8 Torikizoku stores in Ikebukuro, if it's crowded, trying out a different branch might be a good idea.

Met up with 3 friends in front of "Sanfuku" near the west exit of Ikebukuro at 5:00 PM sharp. Today, we decided to try out Torikizoku, a place we've been talking about for a while. We arrived at the restaurant 3 minutes before it opened at 5:00 PM and had to wait a bit before being seated. We were the first ones there at exactly 5:00 PM. Since there were 4 seats at the table, we had plenty of space to relax. We ordered everything through the tablet on the table, starting with a cheers with draft beer. We also ordered highball, chilled sake, and a variety of appetizers like Torikizoku grilled chicken with sauce, salt and spices & cheese skewers, daikon radish salad, spicy pickled cucumbers, chicken nanban, cabbage platter, grilled yam, drinks, and more. The food came out quickly. We realized we forgot to order one item, so we confirmed the order through the tablet. The total bill for the 3 of us was ¥7,248, which we found to be satisfying.

Ikebukuro's second regular spot where I always go is Torikizoku. If it's around 10 pm, you always have to wait to get in, so I always go here for the second spot. Recently, it seems like the menu has been revamped, and the ramen that I used to order has been updated, so I decided to try it out. The taste was better in the previous version. This time, the ramen tasted too strong. The other skewer menu items were pretty much the same, and my favorite cheese tsukune was just as delicious as always for only 280 yen. Needless to say, the 280 yen flat rate menu is great, and there are no appetizers, so it's a level of restaurant where you can easily spend less than 2000 yen per person. In terms of cost performance, I think it's as cheap as a standing bar. It's easy to understand why every restaurant in Ikebukuro is always full. The Kinmugi is a malt beer, but it's a large size for 280 yen. The draft beer is Premium Malt for 280 yen, so it's cheap. The restaurant is located just above the Family Mart right after you leave the west exit of Ikebukuro and turn onto the street where KFC is. The location is good, but it's often full, so if you're going with a group, it's better to make a reservation. However, the space per person is a bit small, so it might be a bit cramped for men. I use a Torikizoku store once a month. I would like to go again.

On a day when I was late from work, my husband and I decided to have a drink in Ikebukuro on our way home. Since I was running late, he met me at the west exit. It was quite crowded, with a wait of 4 groups ahead of us. Ikebukuro is really busy, as expected. But we didn't have to wait as long as we thought, and we were seated in about 15 minutes. We started with a toast with beer. ★Edamame I tried ordering edamame for the first time, and it was surprisingly plump and delicious. I'll definitely order this again next time. ★Chilled Grilled Chicken with Wasabi From the new menu, this dish was a bit disappointing in terms of portion size. It tasted better when dipped in wasabi. ★Heart-shaped Yakitori It was cooked just right, not too burnt or raw. ★Momo Kizoku-yaki (with sauce, with salt) This is a must-order. We sprinkled shichimi pepper and sansho pepper on it. ★Tori-karaage I also love this dish. The flavor is strong, so it goes well with alcohol. ★Tori-kama-meshi The amount of ingredients in this kama-meshi was more than in previous stores. I was surprised by the huge portion. The taste was a bit salty, which was a bit disappointing, but the amount of ingredients made it quite a good deal. The restaurant was crowded, but the food and drinks were surprisingly served quickly, so there was no stress.

Following my visit to the Metropolitan branch, I decided to try a different store at the west exit of Ikebukuro station. Even though it's the same chain, there are about 4-5 branches in the area. This time, I went to a store located on the 3rd floor of a building a few minutes to the right from the west exit. It's the same building as the one where I visited "Hara Hachibunme" recently. I ordered bone-in fried chicken (I believe the name was different) and soba, which I had never tried before. The bone-in fried chicken was quite large and I thought it was a good choice. The soba had a nice texture and a flavorful taste. The service was consistent with the previous branch I visited, with a lively and friendly atmosphere.

Ikebukuro Station North Exit, 2 minutes walk away. This time I went with friends and their children. There were 3 adults, 1 middle schooler, and 2 toddlers, and we ate and drank a lot (lol). All dishes and drinks were priced at 280 yen each (excluding tax).
- Toriki's fried chicken x2: The breast meat was not very juicy, but it was crispy.
- Cabbage refill x1: All-you-can-eat cabbage, which was a nice touch.
- Chicken heart (salt) x3: Soft and juicy.
- Chicken nanban x1: The chicken was crispy, but the meat was a bit soft and mushy.
- Potato salad x1: A standard dish at any izakaya.
- French fries x3: Kids love French fries, so we ended up ordering three servings.
- Ume mayo grilled chicken skewers x3: The sour plum sauce was addictive.
- Chicken breast with miso and cheese x3: Surprisingly, the miso and cheese matched well.
- Gizzard x2: I always order this dish for its crunchy texture.
- Tsukune (with sauce) x2
- Lotus root stuffed with meat x1
- Sausage skewers x2
- Chilled tomatoes x1
First of all, the staff who showed us to our seats was very friendly. It's not uncommon to receive negative reactions when dining with young children, so it was nice to be greeted with a smile. The menu also had a kids' drink all-you-can-drink option, which was well-received by my friends and their children. We will definitely be going back again!

Recently, I have become a fan of Torikizoku, a restaurant chain known for its affordable prices and generous portions. There are four locations around Ikebukuro Station alone, and when I visited on a Sunday, it was almost full. The menu mainly features chicken breast meat, but they also offer rare cuts and a variety of side dishes, including unlimited cabbage. They have a good selection of noodles and rice dishes as well, making it a one-stop shop for a satisfying meal. The prices are very reasonable at 280 yen per item, including all alcoholic drinks. Overall, I was very satisfied with the food and drinks. Thank you for the delicious meal.

This time, I used it for dinner. I was unsure of what to order, but this time, I ordered Chicken and Shiso Tempura with Kishu Plum Sauce, etc. Order details Chicken and Shiso Tempura with Kishu Plum Sauce 302 yen each The Chicken and Shiso Tempura with Kishu Plum Sauce is tempura made by wrapping chicken breast meat with shiso. It gives the impression of having a slightly thick coating and was enjoyed with plum sauce. All dishes are priced at 302 yen each, so it is a convenient restaurant where you can use it with peace of mind. It is an izakaya near Ikebukuro Station.

I visited Torikizoku. They have overwhelming cost performance and are very popular now. I heard they surpassed some sales records in the news. Well, their cost performance is great. Even if you order beer and eat until you're full, the price is reasonable and the taste is not bad. It's perfect for casually eating while having a few drinks, especially after drinking a bit too much. It's a great place to go alone, with friends, or even with your spouse. I think it's a good choice for a second round of drinks.

The best izakaya chain restaurant is definitely Torikizoku. Most 300 yen restaurants have cheap quality food and drinks, but Torikizoku offers satisfying quality in both. Their famous Jumbo Torikizoku Yaki is amazing. It has a great volume and taste that you wouldn't expect for 300 yen. With three different flavors for thigh and breast, you won't get bored. There are rumors that the Jumbo Torikizoku Yaki is sold at a loss, but if you order that and the all-you-can-eat cabbage, it becomes very affordable. I must be a bad customer haha. The Ikebukuro branch is always crowded with students and office workers during early hours, so I recommend going late at night.
