I was able to visit after a long time. However, be careful not to accidentally book the Nishi-Temma store from the Instagram link on the food review site. Reservations for the Higobashi main store are either Omakase or by phone. It was great to see the head chef looking well. The delicacy of the grilling was as excellent as ever! Everything was juicy and delicious! It was a wonderful grilling experience. It tastes even better after not having it for a while. Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation and went around 9:00 pm. I ordered the omakase course with all-you-can-drink for ¥11,000 including tax. The menu included onion and cabbage soup, salad, chicken sashimi, thigh meat, minced duck, chicken tenderloin, gizzard, simmered chicken liver, breast meat, liver, shiso meatball, heart, grilled eggplant, grilled chicken, soft bone, duck breast, tail meat, kinkan tenderloin, deer meat, and grilled rice ball soup. The chef himself stands at the grill, and the main store has perfect grilling skills. Especially, the chicken sashimi was grilled perfectly. This place is a gold medal winner for grilling skills at a yakitori restaurant!

This is my second visit. I have become a big fan of "Goichi"! The dishes I had were part of the ¥11,000 course (with all-you-can-drink option). Onion and cabbage soup, salad, chicken sashimi, duck mince, chicken tenderloin simmered in sand liver, chicken breast, liver, and large leaf meatballs, grilled duck meat, soft bone duck breast, bonjiri (tail), kumquat, and chicken meatball skewers. The meal ended with chicken soup and grilled chicken rice bowl. I also enjoyed beer, highball, and white wine at "Goichi". I am so satisfied!

I was able to accept the invitation and go ♡ Unfortunately, Wataru-san was not there on the day I went (*_*) Maybe my expectations were too high... It was just delicious yakitori. I heard they will raise the price to 12,000 yen from next month, but it seems like reservations are already full for the next six months. I would like to go again if I have the chance!

This was my first visit and, in conclusion, I had some doubts about the quality of the meat. It may have just been my luck, but the flavors seemed lacking. Also, I didn't really like the order in which the skewers were served. Overall, it was refreshing and tasty, but it definitely did not live up to its rating of over 3.9 on Tabelog. I was disappointed. For 11,000 yen (tax included) with all-you-can-drink during lunch, it was a great deal. We got over 10 skewers and even a yakitori rice bowl at the end, so the value was there. However, drinking in the afternoon might be a bit tough even at a lower price. The owner personally grilled the skewers for us that day, so I had high expectations. But the chicken itself was just okay, not as flavorful or tasty as other popular places. Since they have multiple locations, it feels more like a system rather than a focus on sourcing and flavor. But I guess that's just how it is. Don't expect too much! It's a great place for those who want to drink a lot and enjoy yakitori. Taking all of this into consideration, I would like to try visiting again at night. This time, I won't set my expectations too high on the yakitori itself. Even though I was already full, the yakitori rice bowl might be the best dish there!

I happened to get a reservation for lunch, so I visited this restaurant. It has a casual atmosphere with a touch of elegance. Today, I had the following dishes: onion and cabbage soup salad, chicken tenderloin, liver and gizzard simmered with onions, chicken breast and shiso meatball, heart, soft bone, duck breast, seasonal grilled vegetables, chicken skewers, and chicken rice bowl. The food was cooked perfectly and was tender and fresh. The flavors were delicious and lingered on the palate. The all-you-can-drink alcohol option for ¥11,000 was also great value. It's no wonder this place is popular. If it were closer, I would definitely visit frequently. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Regular visit to the restaurant "Goichi Higobashi" located about a 6-minute walk from Higobashi Station in Osaka. <Today's Menu> Cabbage and onion soup, Chicken thigh tataki, Duck mince, Chicken tenderloin with plum, Seseri (chicken neck), Liver simmered, Chicken breast meat, Heart, Eggplant, Large leaf and tsukune (chicken meatballs), Seseri with yuzukosho (citrus pepper paste), Duck loin, Bonjiri (chicken tail), Shishimaru (chicken thigh) yakitori, Rice ball soup, Ochazuke (rice with tea poured over it). It was delicious as always. The next plan is already set with this group of people... Looking forward to it very much!

I was casually browsing through reservation sites when I unexpectedly found an available seat for Wataru-san, who thought he couldn't get a reservation. I quickly made a reservation for a course meal (including free-flow drinks) for 11,000 yen plus the reservation site fee. My wife and I headed to the restaurant, complaining about the heat. The first dish, momo tataki, blew me away. The crispy skin and the rare, warm meat were bursting with flavor in my mouth. I've had my fair share of delicious yakitori, but this was without a doubt the best yakitori I've ever had. And for a drinker like me, the cost performance was excellent! We had 2 beers, 2 glasses of white wine, 2 glasses of sake, and 2 iced teas. The finale, a large portion yakitori rice bowl with 2 pieces of meat. Isn't this just too good to be true? I might get kicked out for eating and drinking so much... I'll definitely check if there are any available seats for next time! Thank you for the wonderful meal.

It was delicious again today. I'm looking forward to the next visit, even though it's a bit bitter this time. It had been 4 months since my last visit. During this time, I had planned to cheat on this restaurant and go somewhere else, but I couldn't bring myself to do it, haha. The chef on the grill that day was Chef Goichi, which was a first for me and I was happy about it. The content of the meal was similar to before, with items like soup, salad, tataki, duck breast, chicken mince, gizzard, liver, heart, green onion, and more. Chef Goichi's grilling style was a bit more rare compared to other chefs, with plenty of juicy meat, which left me satisfied. The course with alcohol was 11,000 yen, and without alcohol was 10,000 yen, which was the same as last time. I made a reservation for my next visit and left.

Located a 3-minute walk from Higobashi Station on the Osaka Metro, this yakitori restaurant has been selected as one of the top 100 yakitori restaurants in 2021, 2022, and 2023. The interior features a central grilling area surrounded by warm wood tones, creating a cozy and calm atmosphere. With only 16 counter seats, the space feels spacious and open. We visited at 8 pm and it seemed like they only accept a limited number of reservations, as there were no customers on either side. Drinks include draft beer, shochu highball, whiskey highball, wine, and sake, all available for all-you-can-drink. On this day, we tried several types of sake. The meal started with soup, salad, and chicken sashimi, followed by a variety of yakitori skewers and ending with a choice of rice dishes. The chicken sashimi served at the beginning was crispy on the outside with a surprisingly tender and juicy texture inside, bursting with flavor. The yakitori was perfectly grilled, with a crispy skin and juicy meat that varied in taste depending on the ingredient. The high-quality yakitori paired with all-you-can-drink option provided excellent value for the price. The attentive service allowed us to enjoy a leisurely dining experience. I was invited suddenly and visited the restaurant at night with high expectations. It was all-you-can-drink, with a nice and clean atmosphere and friendly staff. They asked about my preferences and the food was delicious. The meal lasted about 2 hours, with dishes served gradually based on how well-done you wanted them. There was no menu to order from, just drinks. If you have a small appetite, you might find it a bit too much. I would like to visit again.

A friend made a reservation for me on a day when Wataru-san's shop was open. The shop is located just a short walk from Higobashi Station. The grilling of the skewers was perfect, with just the right amount of rareness and a crispy exterior while being moist inside. Every skewer was delicious, especially the tsukune which was surprisingly fluffy! For those who drink alcohol, the course is 11,000 yen. For non-alcohol drinkers, it is a fixed course of 10,000 yen. There were plenty of skewers and we left feeling full. This is a yakitori restaurant that I definitely want to visit again.

I love the momo tataki at #Goichi in Higobashi, Osaka. The rare level of searing and crispy skin are perfect. The onion and cabbage soup was also delicious. The momo tataki, duck mince, sasami, sunazuri, liver and tamahimo were all fantastic. I especially enjoyed the tender and juicy grilling of the chicken. The seasoning of the liver and tamahimo was also to my liking. The grilled vegetables, including the grilled eggplant, were tasty. I usually go for the chicken bowl at the end, but this time I opted for the grilled rice balls. The course with unlimited soft drinks is ¥10,000, while the one with unlimited alcohol is ¥11,000. It was delicious.

The all-you-can-drink course costs 11,000 yen and includes a variety of dishes such as cabbage and onion soup, salad, chicken sashimi, duck mince, chicken liver, simmered chicken and onions, grilled chicken breast, chicken meatball with shiso leaf, chicken neck, duck bonjiri, duck kinkan, grilled chicken thigh, grilled rice balls, ochazuke, and yakitori rice bowl. The portion size is impressive for the price, and the selection of sake is extensive. Personally, I enjoyed the chicken sashimi the most. It was so delicious that I could eat it forever. You can also request to try all three dessert options. This is a great place to enjoy drinks and food with friends. I would definitely like to visit again.

This is a well-known yakitori restaurant with top-class popularity in Osaka! All the yakitori dishes are delicious! Especially the chicken tataki and liver stew are exquisite! The all-you-can-drink option is reasonably priced and easy to understand, which is great! The interior is also lovely! The service is efficient and pleasant. They quickly ask for drink orders and there is nothing to complain about. It's understandable why it's difficult to make a reservation here! I definitely want to go again. Head to "Goichi Higobashi Store" in Nishi-ku, Osaka City. It is located about 200m west from the 7th exit of Higobashi Station on the Osaka Metro Yotsubashi Line. My friend made a reservation for Saturday lunch, and we entered the restaurant promptly at 12:00. The interior is very stylish with a sophisticated setup, arched ceiling, and a large single-board counter. There are 16 L-shaped counter seats, creating a chic atmosphere. We opted for the omakase course with all-you-can-drink for 11,000 yen. We started with a toast of draft beer, followed by a comforting cabbage and onion soup that enhanced the sweetness of the vegetables. While enjoying a refreshing salad of shredded cabbage and diced daikon, the enticing aroma from the grill station made our hearts leap. The beautiful gradient of the "momotataki" was a sight to behold. The crispy seared skin exuded a violently fragrant smokiness, while the juicy and fresh center provided a satisfying chewiness, and the middle layer, lightly cooked, released a burst of savory juices that melded in the mouth. After encountering the final boss at Level 1, we were equally impressed by the skewered items, meticulously grilled to perfection. The juicy chicken breast, the succulent duck meatball brimming with meat juices, the tender and juicy chicken tenderloin, the flavorful and tender gizzard, the flavorful and tender heart, the sweet and creamy white liver and kinkan simmered in a sweet sauce, the vibrant green basil meatball, the chewy and juicy chicken tender, the smoked thigh that allows you to savor the umami zone between the skin and the meat, the meaty and well-marbled nanakotsu, the elegant and sweet taste of the duck loin without any metallic taste, the smoky eggplant with charcoal-infused flavor overflowing with broth, the powerful and crispy bonjiri with a crunchy sound, the rich and creamy kinkan bursting with protein, the classic negima skewer, and the tantalizing aroma of the grilled chicken thigh with sauce. The all-you-can-drink option at such a generous price made me want to come back again as soon as I finished eating. The course I had was the "omakase course" with drinks included, priced at ¥11,000 including tax. It included onion and cabbage soup, salad, chicken sashimi, and various skewers such as thigh meat, duck mince, breast meat, soft bone, and more. You could choose from three options for the final dish, all of which were tempting, so I ended up selecting all of them. The course also came with grilled rice balls, chicken bowl with tea, draft beer, highball, lemon shochu highball, white wine, and soda. Eating all these dishes and having all-you-can-drink for ¥11,000 was truly shocking. I now understand why this restaurant is so popular and hard to make a reservation at. I left the restaurant with a really satisfied stomach!
