I'm not usually a fan of chain restaurants, but Torikizoku was better than I expected. Personally, I find the touch panel order system a bit of a hassle, so ordering directly from the menu is better. They have plenty of seating, so you can often walk in and get a table.

The Torikizoku in Shinjuku is always crowded during the evening hours, making it difficult to get a table. I think the quality of Japan's chain restaurants is really high. They are cheap, delicious, and consistently maintain the same level of quality, which is something Japan can be proud of. When I went alone, I was seated at the counter and was able to watch the chefs cook right in front of me, which was really enjoyable. The coordination between the foreign staff and Japanese staff was excellent. The yakitori was as big and delicious as I had seen on TV. The yam was also delicious. The touch panel was easy to use. I would like to try different branches in the future!

It's been a long time since I went to Torikizoku with a friend. The prices are still cheap and the skewers are big as usual. For the price, there's nothing to complain about, but it's a bit disappointing compared to a regular charcoal-grilled yakitori restaurant. However, the a la carte menu is good. The chicken kamameshi is wonderful. I'll come occasionally.

Near Seibu Shinjuku Station, there is a Torikizoku. It was September 2020. After the end of self-restraint measures, and with the resurgence of COVID-19, the number of customers inside the restaurant seemed surprisingly low. However, the customers present were quite loud and lively, as expected in a casual izakaya. The seating arrangements included splash prevention sheets even at face-to-face tables, so they were taking precautions. The draft beer was a Premium Malts. The pouring technique may have been lacking, as there was a bit too much foam and it lacked depth of flavor. Currently, they are holding a food fair featuring dishes from various countries, and I tried something called "Takko-chi" from Korea. It was like momo (thigh) yakitori with a sweet and savory sauce. The tenderness of the meat was consistent, but the slight greasiness was a bit of a concern. There was a flaw in the service where the food took about 15 minutes after ordering, and it arrived promptly after prompting, so I didn't feel that the service was particularly good.

I joined in at Torikizoku Ekimae for the third round of a girls' night out. It was quite busy, being in a great location. Even though I was already somewhat full, I still wanted to eat something, so I shared Tori Zosui with two other people for our final dish. It was so delicious, even for my stomach that had been drinking a lot.

It's Toriki, a chain restaurant. Reliable. I was surprised at how small the beef skewers were when I ordered them. But they tasted delicious. The hormone ponzu sauce was delicious. Crunchy. Also, the Banzai fried chicken was delicious too.

I arrived at around 7:30 pm and the restaurant was about 60% full. The restaurant has a large number of seats and reasonable prices, so it's easy to see why it's a popular and well-liked place.

I love Torikizoku because it's cost-effective. On this day, four friends and I went there, drank a lot of alcohol, ate until we were full, and it only cost 2,100 yen per person! So cheap! The Camembert cheese croquette and liver were delicious. I've never met anyone who didn't like Torikizoku's Camembert cheese croquette. Highly recommended.

I don't feel any other benefits besides the cheap price. The customer service is not good. The seats are inconvenient. The taste is average. There are not many drink options. Maybe the best part was when paying the bill. If that's considered a benefit, then so be it.

I visited the major chain izakaya Torikizoku for the first time. The main dish, yakitori, was a bit disappointing... The cocktails were not good... The only selling point seems to be the cheap prices and the peace of mind that you won't be ripped off due to it being a chain. I think it's a place where people who are satisfied with just being able to drink a beer like Asahi Super Dry can enjoy without any problems. Hmm, disappointing!

First stop was yakitori... and the second stop too!! But there's just a little time left until the last train... Looking for a quick and cheap option! I'm full but I can still drink alcohol. We had a great time enjoying skewers. Thank you for the meal!

I originally wanted to go to a different restaurant, but it was fully booked and the service made me angry, so I ended up going to Torikizoku two days in a row, which was unexpected. When I arrived at the restaurant, I saw a monitor displaying the waiting customers from nearby Torikizoku branches! There was a big difference in the service quality among the branches. I was asked to move to a smaller table if more people arrived later, and by the time I left, there were many customers waiting. It was quite crowded in Shinjuku! However, it was a smoking-permitted restaurant, so it was smoky and the seating was uncomfortable. The signal reception was also terrible, making it hard to use my phone. I didn't feel like taking many photos, but I will still upload a few. The fried chicken at Torikizoku had a nostalgic taste, and the pork skewers were delicious. The chicken was tasty as well. I found it strange to visit the same restaurant two days in a row, especially since I'm not a local, but I didn't want to complain since someone else was treating me.

After work, I visited Torikizoku with my colleagues. The interior was as bright and clean as always! The touch panel for ordering had also been upgraded since the last time I saw it. We mainly drank beer and ordered dishes like Chicken Nanban and grilled skewers. We ate and drank a lot, but the bill came out to around 2900 yen per person! It was quite affordable. Every Torikizoku I've been to has a clean interior and delicious food, so I will continue to rely on them in the future. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I went on a date with my girlfriend and we ended up at the popular chain restaurant Torikizoku. The entrance had a waiting screen to check the crowdedness, even showing the status of nearby branches. There is no time limit system, so the estimated wait time is uncertain. Luckily, we were seated quickly! We toasted with tonic water and orange juice, both non-alcoholic. For food, we ordered boiled chicken with Yamagata dashi, grilled chicken skewers, stuffed bell peppers, juicy chicken breast, and chicken white broth noodles for dessert. Overall, it was a satisfying experience at this bustling restaurant in Shinjuku.

Tonight, after work, my colleague and I decided to go out for drinks! Since it's before payday, both of us are short on money↓↓↓ But we still want to drink!! So, today we visited "Torikizoku Seibu Shinjuku Station" where all food and drinks are priced at 280 yen!! Items we ordered included: Stuffed green peppers, Chicken thigh with sauce, Seasoned boiled egg, Spicy pickled cucumbers, Grated yam with sauce, and Hormone and green onion skewers with ponzu sauce. For drinks, we ordered Kinmugi beer for both of us!! (My colleague switched to wine halfway through) The fact that everything is priced at 280 yen is really helpful!! The taste and portion size are satisfying for the price of 280 yen each!! The total bill was less than 5000 yen for the two of us!! It's really a lifesaver when you're short on money!! We will definitely visit again!! Thank you for the meal!!

On April 8, 2015 (Wednesday) and April 9, 2015 (Thursday), Torikizoku finally opened in Seibu Shinjuku!! Torikizoku, which became very popular as soon as it entered Tokyo!! It has opened in various places such as Okubo and Kabukicho, but this time, it has finally opened in Seibu Shinjuku!! The store is located on the 4th floor of a mixed-use building. It feels a bit hidden, but it's just right because otherwise it would be fully booked. The interior of the store has box seats and counter seats. The staff are full of energy due to the opening, which is good, but they can be a bit noisy (laughs). And Torikizoku's famous special offer, all drinks are only 99 yen for the grand opening!! Even with tax, it's only 106 yen which is amazing!! I ordered expensive drinks like beer without hesitation (laughs), which the store probably doesn't want customers to order. With no appetizers originally served, the bill comes out to be under 1,500 yen per person, which is an amazing cost performance!! I went with friends on the first day, but on the second day, I went alone. The counter seats are very relaxing, so I recommend going alone as well!! (Originally, they may be seats for couples or two people sitting side by side...).
