I have been really curious about this restaurant for a while, located in the basement of the Senba Center Building No. 10, "Original Pork Bowl Restaurant TONTON". As the name suggests, they serve the famous pork bowl from Hokkaido, specifically from Obihiro. I decided to try their "Mega-sized" pork bowl, which was visually appealing and impressive. I chose the pork belly, and when it arrived, I was surprised by the amount of meat in the bowl. However, when I tasted it, it was incredibly delicious! The thick slices of pork, cooked in a sweet and savory sauce, were tender and juicy, making it impossible to stop eating. The table also had chili peppers, sansho pepper, and extra sauce to add to the bowl, which was a nice touch. Although the portion was large, I managed to finish it easily because it was so tasty. The restaurant also focuses on their fried chicken, and I tried three pieces which were also delicious. They were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, perfect for pairing with drinks like highball or gin soda, which were surprisingly affordable at 190 yen including tax. They also offer curry, a cheese-topped version of the pork bowl, and a half-and-half option of pork belly and loin, as well as other set menus, making it a diverse menu. They even have a "Challenge Bowl" where if you finish it within 30 minutes, it's free. If you're confident, give it a try! They also have an Instagram account with over 15,000 followers, where they share more delicious food recommendations, so be sure to follow them at http://instagram.com/osakagourmet.ryox/

After a meeting in Honmachi, I went to a restaurant in the basement of Senba Center Building where I could quickly eat. I had the pork belly bowl for 800 yen. The sweet and savory sauce paired well with the pork belly and rice. It was very filling even with the regular size. They also offer larger portions and various toppings, so you can enjoy different flavors. I think it's great for young men who want a hearty meal. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

At 11 o'clock, a bit early, I wandered around the basement of the Funabashi Center Building. The No. 10 building was at the very end and felt lonely with few people. I happened to enter a pork bowl restaurant that was empty. It reminded me of a pork bowl restaurant I used to go to in Obihiro during my time in Sapporo. I ordered the pork belly bowl. It looked delicious. First, I had miso soup. It was fine to be on the stronger side. Then came the pork bowl. The quality of the meat, the charred edges, and the sauce were all good. The rice was a bit on the firm side. Even though I ordered a regular size, it felt like a hearty meal. Thank you for the meal.

I visited "TONTON," the original pork bowl restaurant, located in the Shipbuilding Center Building No. 10 in Honmachi for lunch. First, I placed my order at the reception and settled the bill. Then, I waited in the adjacent room. The staff recommended their signature dish, the pork belly bowl, so I ordered that. It arrived in about 2 minutes, with six pieces of perfectly grilled pork belly that were sweet and delicious. The sauce was also sweet and flavorful, drizzled over the rice. I devoured it quickly because it was so tasty. They also offer pork loin, fried chicken, and curry, so I'm looking forward to trying those next time!

Visited before 12 o'clock. There are 16 seats at the counter and 10 seats at the tables. There were 3 groups of customers before me and 3 groups after me. More customers kept coming in. You order at the entrance and pay before sitting down. I ordered the bara pork bowl in regular size. It cost 858 yen including tax. It took over 10 minutes to get my food because there was only one staff member at the time. But more staff came later, so it shouldn't take that long usually. The pork is grilled over charcoal, which makes the excess fat drip off and enhances the flavor of the meat. The regular size had 6 slices of meat, which was satisfying in terms of quantity due to their thickness. It's a good place to enjoy an authentic pork bowl in a casual setting.

I came because I like pork bowls. I was going to order the pork loin bowl, but most people were ordering the pork belly bowl, so I ordered the pork belly bowl. The pork belly in the bowl was thick and satisfying to eat. The sweet and savory sauce was delicious and the rice went well with it. I added some spice and sansho pepper for a different flavor and finished it all. I probably prefer pork loin, but it was delicious. Thank you for the meal. It was delicious. 5.4

First visit. Went to a pork bowl specialty restaurant in Funabashi Center Building. Ordered the regular pork belly bowl. It arrived in just under 10 minutes. It was delicious, but the seasoning was on the milder side, so you can enjoy changing the flavor with the sauce and sansho pepper on the table.

Order at the counter, pay, receive receipt, then wait at your seat. They start preparing your order after you place it. However, it takes 20 minutes from ordering to serving, which can be tight for office workers on their lunch break. The food is delicious, but the staff is understaffed. The regular portion size was quite average.

Located in B1F of the Osaka Honmachi Funabashi Center Building No. 10, is the pork bowl specialty restaurant "Original Pork Bowl Restaurant TONTON." The restaurant offers the famous Hokkaido Obihiro pork bowl, with a strong font for the store name and an energetic exterior that truly reflects the stamina menu available. The comical and powerful interior is wrapped with pork bowl designs, exuding a passionate atmosphere dedicated to savoring the pork bowl. The challenge plan offers a "free" meal for those who finish within the time limit, featuring a menu with an incredibly large volume. The detailed process of creating the challenge menu is a sight to behold, showcasing the intense fighting spirit. The massive size and impressive appearance of the dish, reminiscent of a little mountain, is truly breathtaking. The pork bowl includes pork belly, pork loin, thinly sliced pork belly, fried chicken, yangnyeom fried chicken, coleslaw, rice, and topped with shredded chili peppers. The layers of meat overlapping like rose petals, with rice meticulously arranged in the bowl, creating a gourmet long way to the white rice. The towering fortress of meat, breaking down the walls as you eat, reveals the 12mm thick pork meat that is tender and juicy. The pork meat is based on the traditional flavor of Obihiro, Hokkaido, using a secret sweet sauce, double-grilled after ordering to remove excess oil, resulting in a crispy and flavorful dish. Not only pork meat but also chicken can be enjoyed in a hybrid style. The fried chicken, in addition to the pork meat, is incredibly delicious. The cabbage, softened by the heat of the meat, refreshes the oily mouth, making each bite flavorful and rich in the sweetness and umami of the pork meat. The owner's soulful all-star menu, hoping people will taste the sweetness and umami of the pork bowl and be moved by its deliciousness. This menu is reservation-only, available around 3 pm, and suitable for a small party with 3 to 4 people sharing. The entertaining conversations with the owner are also a charming aspect of the restaurant. My favorite is the cheese pork bowl, where the harmony of cheese melting on top of the pork belly creates an indescribable deliciousness. Takeout booths are also available for those who want to enjoy an authentic pork bowl at work or at home. Along the 1000-meter walking path, why not indulge in a blissful time with the ultimate pork bowl?

Hello everyone! This is Nonstagram, a gourmet Instagrammer. I visited "TonTon Ship Center Building 10th Store," where you can enjoy the famous pork bowl from Obihiro, Hokkaido. Even before entering the restaurant, the delicious smell of the pork bowl sauce filled the air, making me very excited. This time, I tried the following dishes: - Original Pork Belly Bowl (Mega Size ¥1,848 tax included): The Mega size comes with 14 slices of pork belly! Despite pork belly being known for its fatty taste, this pork bowl was marinated in a special sauce before being grilled, so it wasn't greasy at all. The pork was juicy and really stimulated my appetite. It was delicious! - Fried Chicken (3 pieces ¥396 tax included): Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside! This fried chicken is exactly my type. Next time, I'll try the fried chicken bowl too! The restaurant is directly connected to Honmachi Station, so you can visit even on rainy or windy days without worry. The friendly manager, who is a fan of the Orix Buffaloes, carefully prepares and grills each slice of pork bowl every day. Please try the delicious pork bowl when you visit. It was a great meal. Thank you!

At lunchtime, I was near the Fukushima Center Building, so I went to the underground food court. All the restaurants had affordable prices and looked delicious, so I had a hard time deciding which one to go to, but I thought, "I feel like having pork today," and went in. The pork was even more delicious than I expected. It was tender and full of flavor. The cost performance was excellent.

I went to Osaka Honmachi to try the famous Obihiro pork bowl, being from Hokkaido myself. The pork belly slices were thick at 12mm, but marinating them made them incredibly tender and juicy, with the fat melting in your mouth. The sweet and savory sauce was a hit, and the crispy edges were delicious. Even though I usually eat a lot, the regular size was too much meat for me, and I couldn't finish all the rice. My husband managed to finish the mega size though. Surprisingly, the fried chicken was also delicious, similar to Hokkaido's "zangi". The owner, a fan of the Orix baseball team, is friendly and popular among fans. The restaurant is conveniently located right by the station, making it easy to visit even on rainy days. They offer a free meal if you can finish the "topping" size in under 30 minutes. Someone should give it a try!

On Saturday lunchtime, I wandered around the Senbiri building looking for a lunch spot. I decided to try a place where you can eat Asahikawa pork bowl from Hokkaido in Osaka. I first paid at the counter next to the entrance, then entered the restaurant. I ordered the "Half & Half" which comes with half pork belly and half pork loin for 968 yen. I started with the pork belly, which was tender and surprisingly light in flavor, so the fat wasn't overwhelming. However, it started to feel heavy after the third slice. The pork loin was also tender and had a light flavor. The meat was thinly sliced, making it easy to keep eating. Overall, it was a delicious pork bowl. I enjoyed it today as well. Thank you for the meal.

There was a restaurant where you can eat Tonton pork bowl, a soul food from Tokachi, Obihiro. I've had it in Hokkaido before, but pork bowls tend to be quite expensive, right? Well, here you can have it starting from 780 yen! And for those who want to eat a lot, there's a mega size available too! This time, I had the pork belly bowl in mega size. It came with 14 thick slices of pork. The crispy grilled pork belly is piled high, so you'll definitely leave with a full stomach! The side menu's fried chicken was also crunchy and delicious. I recommend this to both those who love Obihiro pork bowls and those who have never tried it before. Thank you for the meal. This is a pork bowl specialty restaurant located on the B1F of the Funabashi Center Building No. 10. I used it for lunch. It was a Thanksgiving event, so I got a pork belly bowl for just one coin. I was a bit confused by the system where you order and pay at the counter when you enter, then exchange the ticket for your meal. I guess it's because it was just one coin, but the pork belly was thin and lacked volume.

The menu board caught my eye with ramen, specifically the "Closing Ramen." Priced at 858 yen, it seems to be aimed at evening guests. The base is soy sauce ramen, with a choice of "pork belly" or "loin" as toppings. I chose pork belly. I presented a 100 yen coupon I received last time for a 100 yen discount. I quickly paid with PayPay and waited in the adjacent room. Here it comes. Four thick slices of pork belly, with a strong and fragrant flavor. The flavor of the seared meat has permeated the soup. It's different from the typical "seared chashu" at ramen shops. It's quite wild. I slurped the soup. It was lukewarm. I slurped the noodles. Again, lukewarm. The noodles are medium thickness straight noodles, and the short length is a unique feature. They are only about 20 centimeters long. They are tasty, but the temperature was just too low. I mentioned this to the staff when they asked for my feedback. Hopefully, they'll improve by my next visit. Maybe I should try the rice dishes at this place. Thank you for the meal.

During a weekday lunch visit to a business district, the restaurant was full of office workers. I ordered the pork belly bowl for 780 yen. The pork's oil and exquisite sweet sauce made the rice go down smoothly. If you want to eat a step above chain beef bowl, this place is recommended. The interior was quite cozy.

I was supposed to eat pork belly curry on this day. However, I noticed that there were several "set meals" available. Upon closer inspection, I saw my favorite dish, fried horse mackerel. Without hesitation, I ordered it for 858 yen. As usual, I waited for a while in the neighboring dining space, casually looking at the evening menu and was shocked. ・Kaku Highball: 190 yen ・Lemon Sour: 190 yen ・Midori Gin Soda: 190 yen All prices include tax, which is fantastic. I can't avoid passing by the Senba Center Building for a drink. Now, the fried horse mackerel was freshly fried, so naturally, it was piping hot and had a thick cut. It must have been about 1.5 centimeters thick. It was topped with a line of tartar sauce on top, and there was tartar sauce on the plate as well. As a true mayo lover, I was delighted. As expected, it was crispy and juicy, an excellent fried horse mackerel. The only disappointing point today was the rice. It was quite hard and lacked moisture. There are inconsistencies in the rice quality, which is something to improve on. Next time, I will definitely eat the curry. I paid with PayPay as usual. Thank you for the meal.

On the way back to the office, I stopped by the 10th building of the Shipbuilding Center Building and peeked into a kushikatsu restaurant on the same floor, but they didn't have kushikatsu for lunch, so no tonkatsu either. I wandered around and ended up here around 11:40. There were only two other customers ahead of me, and you have to pay upfront at the front before being seated. Once seated, the kitchen is separated from the dining area. Water is self-serve, but not the dishes. About 7 minutes after ordering, the pork belly rice bowl arrived. It looks like a dish from Obihiro, but instead of green peas, it had roughly chopped green onions that were unappetizing and unpleasant in texture. The pork belly was thinly sliced but had decent seasoning and was quite tasty. There is sauce available on the table for extra flavor. The rice was a bit firm, suitable for a rice bowl, but if served as a set meal, it might be unsatisfactory. The miso soup and pickles were disappointing - the miso soup had no ingredients and had a strange smell, while the pickles were lackluster. I received a 100 yen discount coupon, so I might come back to try the pork belly rice bowl again, even though I don't need the miso soup and pickles.

Today's lunch was at "TONTON Honmachi Center Building," located in Osaka's Honmachi area. I went alone today, so I traveled to the neighboring town (even took the subway). I had the pork belly bowl (780 yen), which was the main menu item along with the pork loin bowl. The menu also includes fried chicken bowl and curry, but the pork bowls seemed to be the popular choice. I ordered at the counter and got a discount through a campaign for new customers. The standard size comes with 6 pieces of meat, but I opted for the large size with 8 pieces. The flavor was amazing, with a hint of charcoal grilling. The sauce was slightly sweet soy sauce-based, similar to eel sauce, and tasted even better with a sprinkle of sansho pepper on top. The miso soup was okay. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. I also noticed that the restaurant is actually a local company from Osaka, not from Hokkaido as one might expect from a pork bowl specialty place. I'm curious about their curry menu. The restaurant is located at B1F of 4-1-10 Funabacho Chuo, Osaka, and their contact number is 06-6251-2525. They are open from 11:00 to 15:00 and 17:00 to 21:30, closed on Sundays and holidays.

This shop is located in the Funabashi Center Building No. 10. I recently had a delicious pork bowl at another shop, but since a Hokkaido-style pork bowl opened in Honmachi, I decided to visit it right away. When I went to the shop during lunchtime, the place was packed with people. The system here is to order first and then find a seat. When it comes to pork bowls, the popular choice seems to be the half-and-half bowl (pork belly and pork loin). There was also a special fried chicken on the menu. I saw many customers ordering the half-and-half bowl, so I decided to order the following: Pork Belly Mix Bowl. It consisted of thick and thin slices of pork belly. The thin slices were well-seasoned with a sweet sauce that complemented the meat perfectly. The thick slices were also delicious, with no strong taste and tender meat. I ordered the regular size, which was just right for me. This is the second pork bowl specialty shop I've been to, and while the previous one had a charcoal-grilled aroma, this one excels in the perfect combination of pork and sauce. Both were delicious and it's hard to choose between the two. I look forward to trying their special fried chicken next time.
