Noda Hanshin Station is about a 2-minute walk away. This is a yakiniku restaurant located in a small alley connected to an arcade shopping street. The restaurant is run by a single mother and has a cozy atmosphere. Please note that taking photos inside the restaurant is prohibited. The exterior looks like a typical yakiniku restaurant with a red tent and lanterns with meat names written on them. The menu board shows raw liver and yukhoe, but they are not actually available. It's a small restaurant with only counter seats for about 10 people, and during my visit on a weekday night, there were only 4 other customers. The restaurant uses charcoal fire instead of gas rotisserie, and the meat is cut and seasoned as per order. While this attention to detail is appreciated, the service can be a bit slow, so it's better to order multiple items at once. I ordered a few items from the menu and a lemon chu-hai. The Kansai-style marinated harami was irregular in shape but tender and flavorful. The tongue with salt had a good bounce and juiciness. The hormone assortment plate was recommended, especially the chewy and juicy mino and flavorful red senmai. The liver, which used to be served raw in the past, was fresh and delicious. The side dish of bean sprout namul was a nice palate cleanser. Overall, the restaurant offers a variety of dishes, perfect for solo diners, and the highlight was the liver. It's a great spot for enjoying hormone dishes with beer. This restaurant is among the top yakiniku places in Osaka. The total bill for today was 4100 yen. Thank you for the meal.

[Monday, April 29, 2013] Charcoal-grilled yakiniku flavor Kizuki Theme: ♪ Restaurant Jigokudani Meido BAR After visiting the 15th restaurant, the next stop was at Yakiniku flavor Kizuki located at 2-14-2 Yoshino, Fukushima-ku, Osaka City. It's near the tea room Welcome and the creative skewered meal restaurant Shokudo Akikyu. There is a long counter inside with a bottle of beer and a shichirin (charcoal brazier). We started with a platter of horumon (offal) and minced meat yakiniku. The second round began with raw liver and vinegar miso. Probably the yakiniku restaurant closest to my home, the friendliness is amazing.
