I used it for a dinner party. Despite making a reservation right after the opening, the staff managed to handle it alone. The food was delicious, especially the shrimp mayo and squid tempura. I also received a point card and would like to visit again.

I met up with friends from high school and we went to this restaurant near Shonai Station, which is close to my hometown. I made a reservation through Tabelog before going. We ordered the following items:
- Crispy fried taro (330 yen + tax)
- Homemade rolled omelette (390 yen + tax)
- Braised pork with warm egg (480 yen + tax)
- Teriyaki chicken pizza (420 yen + tax)
- Chewy cheese potatoes (330 yen + tax)
- Fried tofu (330 yen + tax)
- Nagata's sobameshi (330 yen + tax)
- Pork and seaweed pancake (330 yen + tax)
Overall, the prices are affordable and reasonable. The crispy fried taro is popular and delicious, with a sticky texture inside and a crispy outside. The braised pork with warm egg was also good, with generous portions of tender meat that seemed well-cooked. The flavors are decent for the price, and this place is great for those looking for a cheap and casual place to have a drinking party.

I searched online and saw that they welcome solo diners, so I decided to visit the restaurant alone for the first time. The place was a bit crowded with groups of people. When I told the staff that I was dining alone, they asked if I was okay with sitting at the counter. I didn't mind, so they seated me at the counter, which only had two seats and felt like a private room almost! I had sashimi, yakisoba, and chicken wings. The sashimi platter seemed like it was meant for 2-3 people. The yakisoba was average, but the chicken wings were delicious. The sweet and savory sauce was so good that I could have eaten many more. It was my first time there, so I ordered a variety of dishes which made the bill a bit high, but overall it was reasonably priced and I would like to go back again.

President's Nabe Course & Premium All-You-Can-Drink ☆
[Appetizer]
Cream cheese tofu
It was an interesting dish that tasted like cream cheese, but also like tofu.
[Sashimi]
Assorted sashimi
Using Maruto soy sauce from Iwate, slightly sweet soy sauce and wasabi... delicious!
Salmon, amberjack, tuna
All were fresh, but the tuna seemed to have been thawed incorrectly, so the taste and texture were not great.
[Delicacies]
White fish and fried burdock root salad with shiso dressing
[Grilled Dish]
Chicken and asparagus with black pepper
A stylish dish with a strong flavor, but very tasty.
[Specialty Motsunabe]
I didn't know that motsunabe was a specialty dish, so I chose the specialty option. The broth was delicious and the freshness of the motsu was great.
[Finale]
Udon, soba, or zosui
I chose zosui and it was delicious.
[Deep-Fried Dish]
Flounder tempura
Although it was served with ponzu sauce, I preferred to eat it with salt from the table.
[Dessert]
Today's dessert was vanilla ice cream. I was full, so sherbet would have been better, but it was part of the course.
I have frequented Noriwo in Namba and Shinsaibashi many times before, but it was always crowded, not very tasty, and the staff's attitude was poor. However, this restaurant was a completely different experience with great service and delicious food. The staff were attentive and the timing of the dishes was perfect. Even after paying the bill, they escorted us to the stairs. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I came to Shonai after a long time. When I was young, I used to ride my bike around here a lot! Recently, there was a fire in the shopping street... The smell still lingers when you enter the shopping street, the cause was said to be an electrical leakage... It's scary because the shops are close together and the fire can spread quickly. I wandered around Shonai and ended up here at the izakaya Norio-san. There are quite a few branches of this izakaya in Shonai, with McDonald's as a landmark. The restaurant is on the second floor, with table seats and a sunken kotatsu area. I decided to try the motsu nabe, even though it was a bit hot. The motsu was a mix of different organs, quite spicy and made me sweat a bit. It was delicious, and I was happy that you could order just one serving. I also ordered a Ramune chu-hai, which was a nice blue color, but I wonder if it's artificially colored. I don't think it needs to be so blue. I also tried the deep-fried mochi in dashi broth, which was fluffy inside and crispy outside, very tasty. I might try making it at home sometime. The tebasaki (chicken wings) in sweet and spicy sauce were recommended by the restaurant, and they were delicious. I ate them with my hands, but my partner tried to eat them with chopsticks and left a lot of meat on the bones. My partner also enjoyed the tonpei-yaki, which they said they hadn't seen in Hiroshima. The cabbage was steamed and sweet, adding to the deliciousness. There was also a mixed rice dish with the motsu nabe, but I was too full to try it. Chain restaurants are definitely cheaper! Sometimes having dinner like this is nice too, I thought so.

A party with friends. The all-you-can-drink deal was cheap, but even so... We weren't all there at the reserved time, so we had to wait 20 minutes before we could order drinks. The food came out, but when it was time for the last drink order, they said we should have ordered at the reserved time. Why didn't they come ask for our drink orders then? We wasted time waiting for everyone to arrive. The all-you-can-eat food was supposed to start after all the course dishes were served, but the dishes came out slowly, so we ended up only getting 2 or 3 items before the last order. I wish they had explained that at the beginning. The tartar sauce on the shrimp mayo was spicy, but the quality was good. There were many drink options, but we couldn't have dessert. Maybe it's because it's cheap, but still...

The menu at this restaurant is surprisingly affordable, with main dishes priced at 290 yen. Even the beer, which is Kinmugi, is only 290 yen. Real beer like Malt's is 450 yen. Chu-hai drinks are also 290 yen, while plum wine is 399 yen. The dishes are quite generous in portion size but still priced at 290 yen. The otoshi (appetizer) is also 290 yen. The seating is in a sunken kotatsu style, making it a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. Sashimi is 450 yen for a single item, 680 yen for 3 types, and 980 yen for 5 types - all of which look quite luxurious.

I often go to this restaurant because it is cheap and delicious. The manager is very attentive and even takes care of the hot pot while we are busy chatting. They add more broth, ask if we need more, and occasionally adjust the heat for us. They have various promotions on different days, and I highly recommend the Monday offal hot pot festival where you can get a drink for only 105 yen if you order one serving for 980 yen (for two people or more). The offal, vegetables, broth, and side dish of rice or noodles are all delicious and satisfying. They have added new flavors like curry recently. The menu has a wide variety of options, the service is generally good, and they have a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There may be some staff who are not as friendly, but overall, it's a lively and enjoyable place to dine. They even provide a deodorizing stuffed animal for your boots in the winter. If you prefer a more tranquil atmosphere, you may want to consider a private room or look for other options, but if you enjoy a lively environment, this is a great place to visit.
