Holidays in the business district of Shinbashi are quite lively, with people walking around and looking for places to eat and drink. I decided to try a new place called "Butaboru" instead of my usual choice, "Kurenai Ton". I had a refreshing pint of Premium Malts beer with a nice foam. The appetizers included a potato salad with mentaiko and a cucumber salad with a salty dressing. The grilled skewers of beef tongue, pork cheek, and pork belly were decent but lacked juiciness. I also ordered a set with a white hoppy drink, served in a Jim Beam glass. Overall, the food was okay but not outstanding. The restaurant specializes in grilled skewers, but they may be better suited for casual dining rather than a special dining experience. While it was not bad, it didn't quite meet the standards set by Kurenai Ton. I would rate it a 3.1 out of 5. That's all for now. Thank you.

During the day, I was craving raw meat while drinking and wandered until I found this shop. There aren't many places where you can drink during the day around here. I happened to enter this shop, but it was delicious!!! I mainly ordered raw meat dishes, but everything was delicious! The raw pork liver was the best I've ever had. The shop's name is "Buta Bowl," and true to its name, they had a great variety of highballs! The staff's service was also excellent, and I would love to go back again.

I asked for liver with salt, and although it was a bit pricey, I was reminded of how delicious the chewy liver provided by the local yakitori restaurant is. The fact that young people were gathering and having a good time there made it all the more enjoyable.

Second bar in Shinbashi for drinks. A lively izakaya belonging to the Waigaya style, open every day until midnight with no regular holidays. They have two branches in Shinjuku and Shinbashi. They offer a variety of skewered dishes such as yakitori and yakiton, and their prices are reasonable for the quality. The spacious interior seems convenient. It's a fun and lively place to visit.

This is a grilled offal izakaya. It's the first stop for a day-long drinking party. We ordered a Black Hoppy set for 450 yen, grilled liver for 90 yen with sauce, grilled guts for 90 yen with salt, grilled teppo for 120 yen with salt, and grilled garlic for 100 yen with salt. Today, the pork offal was sold out early. The inside shochu costs 200 yen. We got a potato salad with mentaiko for 280 yen as a starter. The mentaiko adds a nice touch. The skewers come with miso sauce for dipping. The liver was grilled well and had a sweet sauce. The guts were rare and tender. The teppo had a chewy texture like meat. The garlic was a good accompaniment for the drinks. We started eating early (laughs). With one bottle of Hoppy, you can get four shots of shochu. It's a good place to drink early in the day.

I happened to pass by and the place was crowded, so I decided to give it a try as my second stop. The grilled pork and chicken were cheap, but other items like drinks were a bit pricier for this type of establishment. I wanted something with rice, so I ordered stick sushi, which turned out to be surprisingly small. The exterior looked like it would offer good value, but it was not as great as expected.

In February 2023, I visited a restaurant for the first time. As it felt like a chain store, I decided to look up the operating company and found out that it was actually owned by Machida Shouten, a company that operates many ramen shops, including Gift-san. It seems like they are starting to expand into the alcohol industry as well! I only ordered skewers at the second restaurant I visited, and the prices were reasonable. The taste was neither good nor bad, just average. It might be a good place to drink cheap alcohol!

This is a popular place in Shinbashi where people always gather to have a light drink in the middle of the night. The pork skewers are recommended, but this time I tried the yakitori. It was a bit too well done, so it lacked juiciness. However, the fried chicken cartilage was delicious and went well with the alcohol. The seating is tightly packed inside the restaurant, so be prepared for people sitting very close to you. They have a wide variety of highball options, which is great for those who have a favorite whiskey.

Perfect for a quick drink. They're open during the day too, so it's convenient. Soft drinks come in a big glass! Surprisingly, the food is also delicious at this cheap place! I recommend the fried Camembert, harami, and chicken tataki (almost like Verdun). A great supporting role kind of place. Thank you for the meal! ^_^

This is an izakaya located in the drinking district of Shinbashi. The location is great, so the restaurant was packed. It has a typical casual izakaya atmosphere. As the name suggests, they have a wide variety of highballs, around 30 different kinds. The unique highballs are all priced at 480 yen. It may be a bit expensive due to its location. I ordered some unusual drinks out of curiosity. The cotton candy highball disappeared in an instant when I tried to drink it, but it didn't affect the taste at all. The tea highball was surprisingly good with an interesting combination. I might try making it at home. The stamina highball was expected to have energy drink in it, but it tasted like a weak highball. I wanted to try the cilantro highball as I love cilantro, but I didn't have the courage.

At a restaurant on Akarenga Street in Shinbashi where you can have a 3 o'clock drink, I was seated at a table with no partitions, about 2 meters away from other customers. There were 5 groups of customers already dining at 3:22 PM. I ordered a mega beer for 700 yen (excluding tax) and various dishes including chicken skin with ponzu sauce, raw beef liver, heart skewers, tongue skewers, cartilage skewers, and chicken meatballs. The appetizer of potato salad was disappointing, but the mega beer was a good deal. The raw beef liver had a good texture, and the skewers were served with spicy miso paste. The fried chicken skin with ponzu sauce was satisfying. I finished my lunch in 27 minutes and paid with a cashless payment method.

The store is clean, but the service is quite sloppy (haha). There may not be any Japanese people working there. The ingredients they use may be quite cheap or frozen. The colors of the food look unappetizing. Overall, this place might be in Shinbashi, but they should consider making improvements in the future.

There used to be an Irish bar along Akarenga Street, but now a cheap izakaya has opened in its place. The selling point is that drinks are 99 yen, but only until 7 pm on weekends and holidays. Apart from the 99 yen Happy Hour, the regular drink menu includes sours priced at around 480 yen, which is a normal price. The highball for 99 yen seems intentional, but surprisingly it has very little ice. The appetizer was potato salad topped with pink (probably mentaiko), which was a bit unusual. The food menu includes chicken yukke for 638 yen, chicken cartilage for 132 yen, negima for 165 yen, hamami for 165 yen, and pork belly with leeks for 165 yen. While many cheap skewer restaurants require a minimum order of 2 skewers, here you can order just one, which is convenient. The chicken yukke was slightly cooked and cut into bite-sized pieces, nothing special. The skewers were average. After having about 3 drinks each, the bill came to around 2500 yen for two people, which was surprisingly cheap.

I couldn't go to the standing bar I wanted to visit because it was crowded, so we had our pre-party at this nearby place. It's a pretty average place with no particular features. There are a lot of TVs and smoking is allowed, so some people might find it comfortable. If you have the luxury of being able to choose a place without it being too hot, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit this place.

I had a meal with a strong smell after a long time. The drink was not worth the price, so I won't be coming back. ✌️
