I haven't been to Osaka in a while. I didn't know there was a place like "Kimiya" here. "Kimiya" is a well-known yakiniku restaurant specializing in lean meat located in Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture. I have been there a few times, and they usually only serve lean meat, but occasionally they will offer a good tongue, but only to regular customers. The lean meat on the grill is so tender that it can be easily cut with just a fork. It's so delicious that you can eat the lean meat "endlessly," it's a terrifyingly good restaurant (laughs). I heard that "Kimiya" has opened a new restaurant in a place beyond Midosuji from Kita-Shinchi, so I came to visit. I didn't know it was here... It has a sophisticated appearance that makes you think it's a Japanese restaurant. I never imagined that the "endless lean meat" was being served here. When I gave my reservation name, I was guided to a room, and there are many private rooms. It's also nice that there is hardly any smell of meat inside the restaurant. When I entered the room, my friend was already ready. The "endless lean meat" has begun. We ordered the 300g course for 18,000 yen, and each person received two slices of lean meat, each about 150g. We also ordered additional beef tongue. There is a roaster in front of us, but it's not gas like in a typical yakiniku restaurant; it's charcoal, just like in Nara's Kimiya. Gas tends to burn quickly, but charcoal slowly heats up and has a nice aroma. They grill the lean meat for us, and when one side is almost cooked, the staff splits it with a fork, amazing. There are two types of sauce, one is tare and the other is grated daikon, and I liked the grated daikon. My friend said the tare was incredibly delicious, but I found that the grated daikon surprisingly complemented the lean meat that was grilled over charcoal. The lean meat was so delicious... I actually prefer sirloin over lean meat. I'm not a fan of the taste of iron or the original flavor of lean meat. But at "Kimiya," I can eat as much lean meat as I want. I feel like I could keep eating endlessly. This time, I really understood the taste of lean meat itself, and it seemed even more delicious with the grated daikon. I thought about ordering more lean meat, but I always regret it, so I stopped. The beef tongue was also delicious, made from black-haired cattle. The best part of the tongue, with a nice texture and just the right amount of moisture, was delicious. "Kimiya" is great because they have various types of meat. It's easy to understand with lean meat as the main focus, and everyone loves lean meat. This place has improved the elegance of Nara's "Kimiya" to suit Kita-Shinchi. Nara has its own charm, but the urban "Kimiya" is also great. Since it mainly consists of private rooms, it can be used for dates, entertaining guests, or even with families.

I saw it on SNS and had always remembered the "meat restaurant where you cut and eat with a fork". This time, I made a reservation through OMAKASE and finally went there! I decided to splurge and reserved the 400g Chateaubriand course for 24,000 yen. Although there were two of us, we were surprised to see that there were 4 large pieces of meat (・ω・ノ)ノ! I wondered if I could eat 2 pieces per person! But the staff reassured us that if we couldn't finish it, they could pack it up as a bento for us. The course included Chateaubriand 400g, kimchi, rice, cabbage, fruit, and a drink (including alcohol). I wanted to order the tongue as an additional item, but unfortunately, it was already sold out by 6:00. I was told that regular customers who hold reservation numbers had already reserved the tongue when they made their reservation! Next time, I'll have to try again. The first bite of the long-awaited meat at Kimiya was nothing short of happiness! It was incredibly tender and had a chewy texture. The special sauce, salt, wasabi, and grated ponzu sauce allowed us to enjoy various flavors. Personally, I liked the special sauce the best. The staff cooked all the meat for us, so we could just chat and enjoy the delicious meat. However, to be honest, I quickly felt uncomfortable with the fatty meat and 400g was tough for me. The first two pieces were amazing, but by the third piece, I was already struggling since I had skipped breakfast and lunch and went on an empty stomach. I ended up packing the last piece as a bento to take home. The bento was stored in the vegetable compartment and reheated the next morning. Surprisingly, the meat was still tender and had the same chewy texture as when it was freshly grilled. Next time, I'll opt for a smaller portion or try the sirloin course! I was happy to enjoy delicious meat and would love to visit again (*^_^*).

I made a reservation from OMAKASE and had a very tender and high-quality 200g fillet that disappeared in no time. I also ordered some more, so they packed one piece for me to take away as a bento. The staff provided excellent service and I left feeling very satisfied.

We went to celebrate a family member's birthday. We ate nothing but tenderloin meat, which was delicious. We ate it with white rice and various sauces. Even though we couldn't finish it all, they kindly packed the leftovers for us to take home. We definitely want to come back to this restaurant again!

I revisited "Zakuro Nara Kimiya Bettei". The meat here is still incredibly delicious! This place is known for its excellent harami (skirt steak). I was completely satisfied with the rare, high-end harami meat they served. This restaurant offers lean, tender red meat with minimal fat. I highly recommend visiting this place.

The meal consisted of simmered Hida beef soup, kimchi assortment, dessert (cherries, pineapple), draft beer, highball, pink grapefruit. Enjoy the exquisite grilled meat that can be sliced with a fork. The staff at the restaurant will grill the meat for you. It is eaten with sauce, salt, wasabi, grated ponzu, etc. Highly recommend dining at Nara Kimiya's separate residence.

Celebrated my son's coming of age at "Kimiya-san". We ordered the Chateaubriand 400g course and it was the first time I experienced such tender meat that could be cut with chopsticks. It exceeded all expectations and we were all extremely satisfied. My son, who usually eats quietly, exclaimed "Delicious!" along with the rest of the family when we returned home. Kimiya, who became famous for cutting meat with a fork, was buzzing in Nara. This time, I visited the branch in Osaka called Zakuro. When you sit down, all the kimchi and sauces are already prepared. Drinks, including beer and highballs, are all-you-can-drink. If you don't order anything extra, a super thick Chateaubriand steak will be served and cooked right away. It feels like a sudden expensive steak. The dipping sauce is quite junky. You eat it with a sweet and spicy sauce with plenty of grated garlic. Eating super delicious meat in a super junky way. This time, I also ordered tongue, but it took about 1 hour to enter and leave the store with a full stomach. When you enter, kimchi and other items are set up, and the style of the interior, service, etc. is completely similar to a cheap all-you-can-drink and eat restaurant. So, I don't think it's very suitable for a date. On the other hand, if you just want to eat good meat quickly with family or friends without the need for a leisurely course or hospitality, and if you are okay with the price (about 25,000-30,000 yen per person), then I think it's really worth it. I have revisited this place myself, and I plan to visit regularly.

I didn't know there was a restaurant called Kimiya in Nara right near Kitashinchi, so I immediately made a reservation. Reservations can be made about a week in advance, but it might be tough to get a same-day reservation. It's more enjoyable to go with around 4 people than just two. Let's have the Chateaubriand here! You probably won't be able to finish the 400-gram portion, so they'll pack the leftovers for you as a souvenir. Looking forward to enjoying it as a bento the next day. Or it could make a really special bento that your wife will love. Even if you go to Shinchi afterwards, she'll forgive you, haha. The original performance of cutting with a fork! It's amazing how delicious it looks. Start with salt, then try wasabi, and miso sauce... garlic is highly recommended. Of course, have it on rice. It's the birth of an endless rice loop. If you have room in your stomach, try the tongue here too, it's amazing. The best meat, only these two types are available, which is great. Eating only delicious things. The kimchi side dish is also delicious. I want to buy this as a souvenir. The tail soup at the end and seasonal fruits are also good. It's the ultimate gourmet experience. If you eat this level of meat at a teppanyaki restaurant in Ginza, wouldn't you go three times as often? This is a restaurant I want to visit once a month. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

It was delicious. Usually, I get tired of regular meat after about 200g, but with this meal of 400g course plus beef tongue, I was worried if I could finish it. However, I ended up enjoying it until the end. I realized that you never get tired of eating delicious meat. But my stomach was so full, so next time I think a 300g course would be just right for me, as I usually eat about 80% of my meal.

I went to the restaurant called Zakkura Narakimiya Betten-sa for the first time in a while. As usual, I had the Helle and Short Prian 2 types of meat. Each was 400 grams, but I was able to eat them all in one go. It was really delicious. I would like to make a reservation and visit again.

Grilled meat like fillet steak is the best. There are not many restaurants that can offer such a satisfying meal as a treat for special occasions. It's rare to find such thick and tender meat that you can eat to your heart's content. The meat is rare, but so is the experience. The drink selection is simple, but the all-you-can-drink option included in the course price without any additional charge makes it a high-quality restaurant with great value for money.

We visited with 4 people. We had the Chateaubriand course 300g x 2 and the fillet course 300g x 2. We could only choose between 300g and 400g. We managed to finish everything! It was the first time we ate over 200g. We all forced ourselves to eat as we wanted to avoid taking leftovers home. It would be nice if we could choose the grams. We spent around 100,000 yen for 2 bottles of wine.

I had the famous hirayaki at Kimiya. The meat was so tender that I could easily cut it with a fork! The first bite was amazing! It's really delicious! This is my number one yakiniku restaurant! However, it's a bit expensive so I can't go often. Right now, it seems like you can make reservations at OMAKASE.

I went to "Kimiya," located near Kitashinchi Station in Osaka. It was a high-class restaurant. I tried their specialty fork-tender sirloin steak and it was absolutely delicious. The sirloin steak is a rare cut, lean and not greasy, so you can eat as much as you want without feeling heavy. Since it's a difficult-to-book restaurant, I recommend making a reservation in advance.

Located a 5-7 minute walk from Oe Bridge Station, Nara Kimiya's annex, Zakkuro, is a renowned yakiniku restaurant known for its high-quality tenderloin. This annex is just as popular as the main restaurant, having been selected as one of the top 100 yakiniku restaurants in the west from 2020 to 2022, as well as receiving the 2022 bronze award from Tabelog. Reservations at the main restaurant can be hard to come by, but at this annex, you can easily book a table through their website. We tried the 300g tenderloin course, which came with free-flowing drinks, rice, dessert, kimchi, soup, and more. The tenderloin, which can be easily torn apart with a fork, impressed us with its tender texture and rich beef flavor. It pairs well with Kimiya's secret sweet and savory sauce, salt, wasabi, or ponzu sauce. Especially when paired with the sauce and rice, it was so delicious that we could have kept eating more! Aside from the tenderloin, the other dishes were also fantastic, and the service and atmosphere of the restaurant were great. We highly recommend visiting this place.
