During my long-awaited business trip to Osaka, I stayed at the Umeda Holic Hotel. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because of this cafe & bar on the first floor. The room was stylish, spacious, and very comfortable. The cafe & bar had a cozy atmosphere, and being slightly away from the bustling area meant there were fewer people, making it perfect for enjoying a drink alone at night. I also had a leisurely breakfast.

Opened in April 2021, Umeda Holick Hotel. I reserved a Single room but got upgraded to a Universal Double room, which was spacious and comfortable. The unit room had a separate washing area and was also spacious. Staying at a new hotel really feels great! The stylish cafe & bar at the hotel offers a choice of Japanese and Western breakfast plates. I made a reservation for the Japanese breakfast, which included grilled fish and a set of carefully handmade side dishes. It may seem ordinary at first, but by adding the prepared broth at the counter, you can enjoy a delicious ochazuke at the end. While the location may have some minor drawbacks, the overall experience was excellent.

I had some errands nearby and decided to have lunch while waiting. I happened to come across this new and stylish hotel! There were even a few parking spaces available, which was very convenient. They had a casual lunch sign displayed outside, and the entrance led directly to a cafe & bar, making it easy for non-hotel guests like me to enter. And the prices were reasonable. I enjoyed a leisurely lunch with a delicious avocado loco moco set that came with salad, soup, and a drink for only 990 yen! The demi-glace sauce was rich, the homemade hamburger was tasty, and the rice was fluffy like a home-cooked meal. The service was polite and excellent. When I went to pay, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I received a discount, and the total was only 792 yen! Later, I found out that the hotel had just opened in April. It must be tough to open a new business during the pandemic, so I hope they do well. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The hotel offers a high-quality stay with modern designs, storage space under the bed, USB ports, and sockets. The UMEDAHOLIC HOTEL café & bar is a modern and luxurious space with unique fabric chairs and classical furniture, creating an urban modern interior. The bar offers a wide selection of drinks, and guests can enjoy a relaxing time in this cozy atmosphere. The bar also serves light snacks that go well with drinks. The linear fireplace adds a warm and cozy touch to the ambiance, creating a high-class atmosphere. Guests can also enjoy analog games and sports on the monitor, making it a perfect place for creativity and relaxation. After hours, the space can be used as a free space for friends or couples to enjoy a fun time and feel like they are in a private residence.
