I'm in Osaka. The restaurant is located between Minami Kuhachiro and Kita Kuboji, along Sakai-suji. I arrived quite late for lunch and was greeted by a young female staff member who seemed a bit cold. The menu had a variety of options, including set meals, but it was a bit confusing with some items only available in sets. I ordered salami pizza, half Caesar salad, authentic Bolognese, shrimp and broccoli doria, a carafe of white wine, and a drink bar. The salad arrived first and was smaller than expected, with crunchy croutons that were too hard. The pizza was thin and crispy, but the toppings seemed cheap for the price. When the pasta arrived, it looked small and the taste was disappointing, not as authentic as advertised. The doria was also lacking in volume and flavor. The wine was decent, but nothing special. The plastic cups for the drink bar were deformed, possibly due to hot water in the dishwasher. The most surprising part was that they only accepted cash for payment, which seemed outdated for this location.

Seafood Pescaatore Bianco with Tokachi Camembert and Tomato Basil Pepperoncino has a chewy texture that complements the pasta well. It was surprisingly delicious. The water is self-service in this compact family restaurant.

Today, I did some work early in the morning and after finishing work, I suddenly felt like buying something I wanted for a long time, so I went to a store in Teramachi to buy a bag. It had been so long since I last went shopping that I ended up buying unnecessary things as well... haha. From there, I got really hungry around lunchtime and decided to go to Shinsaibashi for lunch, but I couldn't resist and ended up visiting this place instead. I had some delicious pasta here and it was really tasty. I enjoyed a large portion of pasta, two kinds of highball cocktails, salad, and pizza. It was a delicious meal. Thank you for the great food.

A spacious pasta restaurant in the business district that I visit often. Even though I rarely have the chance to come for a hearty lunch due to work, I always find this place to be calm and relaxing, making it a great spot to visit when I'm in Sakaisuji Hommachi. The atmosphere and location make it welcoming for solo male diners, and this time I had the Genovese pasta and pizza set. The pasta, with a generous portion, was a bit over 1500 yen, but the taste was excellent. The slight acidity of the tomatoes helped refresh my palate when I got a bit tired of the flavors. The pizza was ultra-crispy with simple Margherita toppings, complementing the pasta nicely and satisfying my appetite. The restaurant is frequented by families, couples, and solo diners of all genders, making it very convenient to visit. Thank you for the meal.

I stayed at a nearby hotel and visited the restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere inside is suitable for both solo diners and families. I tried the "Spicy Bolognese (1180 yen)" with low-carb noodles, but it was a bit too mushy. However, the sauce was rich and delicious. The cost performance is good, but I probably won't visit again.

This is my third visit here. I wouldn't say I love it, but honestly, there aren't many lunch options available in Sakaisuji Hommachi on weekends, so this place is pretty much the only choice. This time I had the lunch set, B set with plenty of mushrooms in yuzu pepper sauce. The side menu included garlic toast and soup. The soup was just okay. The pasta noodles were delicious. Since you can't choose your favorite pasta with the set menu, next time I'll try ordering a single dish instead.

It's hard to find a place open for lunch on Sundays in Matsuyamachi and Sakaisuji Hommachi, and even if you want to go in, they are usually full. However, we found a pasta restaurant that is surprisingly delicious. With three friends, we ordered a Margherita pizza with mozzarella for 950 yen and a drink bar set for 280 yen. Despite having pasta the day before, the pizza was quite tasty.

Hanging bacon tomato Caesar pasta set for 880 yen, excluding tax. Comes with a drink bar. Sides include mini salad, garlic toast, and today's soup. You can choose to upgrade to a large portion of noodles with low-carb options. The drink bar includes black oolong tea. The noodles at the bottom of the pasta were all clumped together and didn't mix well with the sauce. Disappointing.

After work at Popolamama Sakaisuji Hommachi store. Before belly dance practice, dinner time. Weekdays from 4 pm, half-price pasta is available. The seafood garlic butter soy sauce, normally priced at 880 yen, is now half off at 440 yen. I added garlic toast, mini salad, and drink bar set for 380 yen. It's perfect for killing time. The pasta was quite delicious. If I had to say, it would be even better if the restaurant had Wi-Fi, but it's still good. Don't underestimate it just because it's a chain store - it was actually quite tasty. Next time, should I try the pizza or gratin? The half-price draft beer was tempting, but I can't have it before the lesson.

Today's half-price pasta? Oh, so cheap. I could finally order the crab pasta I've been dreaming of. The water is self-serve. The crab meat has a bit of a membrane on it that's a little prickly, but it's okay. The hamburger is also good, no unpleasant smell and it's in the 500 yen range, so it's a pass. The garlic toast is also well-made. Of course, the pasta is satisfying with its chewy texture that comes from using fresh pasta.

I casually dropped by around 2 PM on a weekday. It's a cozy family restaurant-like place. I had the spicy tomato soup pasta with seafood, which cost around 1000 yen. It had plenty of shrimp, squid, and clams, which I was happy about. The slightly spicy flavor was just right and delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly, not too soft. Family restaurant-type places are convenient for a casual visit without worrying about the time. Thank you for the meal.

I was wandering around looking for a lunch spot when I found out that my favorite yakiniku restaurant was closed. Then I saw a visually appealing crab pasta at the entrance and decided to try it to avoid crowds. I ordered the "Crab Tomato Cream Pasta" and it was delivered in about 10 minutes. The dish exceeded my expectations, with cute crab meat and flavorful tomato cream sauce. The pasta had a great texture, thanks to the high-quality Canadian and American durum wheat semolina flour used in the dough. It was chewy, smooth, and delicious. If you're looking for a tasty and affordable fresh pasta dish, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Boiled fresh pasta chain. I'm not a fan of fresh pasta, but I think the noodles here are quite delicious, not too chewy. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is calm, with soft Western music playing in the background. You can get your own water from the drink bar. I ordered tomato and mozzarella pasta with toast and salad for 990 yen. It came out pretty quickly. The salad had lettuce, corn, and broccoli. You can choose butter, cinnamon, or garlic for the toast. I chose butter, and it was quite tasty. The pasta had a light tomato base with a hint of garlic. The thin noodles with melted mozzarella worked well together. The sauce wasn't too heavy, and I didn't get tired of it until the end. The restaurant was nearly empty that day, probably due to the impact of COVID-19. Hang in there, restaurants!

Today's lunch was at the pasta chain restaurant Popolamama nearby. The lunch set comes with a drink bar and there are two types of pasta to choose from: A for 850 yen and B for 950 yen. After choosing the pasta, you can also choose two side dishes. I went with the spicy soy sauce pasta with eggplant and bacon from option A. I was surprised by how many red chili peppers were in it! But it wasn't too spicy (^◇^;) The lunchtime wait can be quite long, so I recommend going early. Thank you for the meal!

I entered this restaurant that I had been curious about but didn't really want to go to. It seems to be a pasta specialty shop, but it gives off a very commercial vibe. When I entered, a strange sound started playing - probably to signal that a customer had arrived. Annoying for customers, I'm sure. I ordered the Hamburger Bolognese. The pasta that was brought to me looked like the one in the photo. It's basically just spaghetti with meat sauce and a hamburger on top, nothing special. When I tried it, it tasted like a regular meat sauce spaghetti. It's nothing to write home about. It's just an average pasta dish, neither cheap nor expensive. I don't think most customers would feel the need to come back after trying it once. If you're curious, you can give it a try. That's all for my review.

Today I was in the mood for Genovese. I ordered a vegetable Genovese. It had a healthy feel to it and was really delicious.

I came here for the first time. I had Bolognese, garlic toast, and salad. They have a variety of pasta dishes that I want to try.

I entered this restaurant for the first time because there were empty seats at lunchtime. I ordered the salad with spinach and hanging bacon Genovese as a value set. The salad dressing in the set had a strange taste that I had never experienced before. The toast was warm and delicious. The problem was the pasta! The pasta was thin, with fresh spinach and bacon on top. The Genovese sauce was watery and lacked fragrance. The bacon had a medicinal taste, and the fresh spinach was bitter. The sauce did not stick to the pasta at all. This is too expensive for what it is. I deeply regret not going to Saizeriya.
