I felt like eating yakitori after a long time, so I visited this place for the first time. The yakitori was all delicious, with fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. I also had a glass of sake, so I wasn't sure about the total cost, but it was a bit higher than I expected. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

It's a cozy place run by a friendly couple. The husband and wife are both very kind and it's soothing to be around them. The shop was bustling with regular customers on this day, but they were also kind to us first-time visitors. They have a focus on skewers and vegetables, and the sake was great too. The chicken is prepared in-house and the sashimi was fresh. The charcoal-grilled yakitori was also delicious! It was a great meal! Thank you!

Located quietly about 3 minutes from JR Takatsuki Station, there is a place called "Yakitori 123" that has caught my attention for a while. I decided to visit around 6 pm. The interior has a counter and tables combined at the back, seating around 4-5 people. It seems more suitable for individuals rather than groups. Looking at the menu, they focus not only on chicken but also on vegetables. Let's order some dishes. - Yakitori Assortment Set (970 yen): A set of 7 skewers, a great deal with each skewer individually packed, perfect for sharing. - Assorted Grilled Vegetables Set (680 yen): Grilled yam, shiitake mushrooms, and fava beans cooked over charcoal. Delicious on its own or with salt. - Shirogane Pork Wiener (680 yen): Very bouncy and packed with meat. - Tochio Fried Tofu Half (380 yen): A specialty from Niigata, crispy fried tofu served with ginger soy sauce. - Kyoto Duck Thigh (260 yen): A must-try for duck lovers. - Fruit Tomatoes (460 yen): Sweet and tasty. - Special Egg Rice Bowl (450 yen): Rich and flavorful with a deep yellow egg yolk. Highly recommended. The owner carefully grills each skewer over charcoal, so it may take some time, but every skewer is delicious. They also serve great drinks. By 7 pm, the place was packed with regular customers. It's a hidden gem that might be hard to find for those unfamiliar with the area, but definitely worth a visit for delicious egg rice and skewers. Enjoy!

Visited in February 2017 and posted on February 20th in the evening for a quick solo drink. After visiting "Kushiichi," a new restaurant opened next door called "Ichi Ni San," located in a back alley on the west side of Seibu Takatsuki store, next to "Gyoza Tengoku." The interior of the restaurant is similar to Kushiichi, with brighter walls and a cleaner, more spacious feel. The counter has around 10 seats, and there are 3-4 tables connected to the counter. The owners, a husband and wife, were the only staff present. The restaurant originally operated in Takatsuki, then moved to Suita, and returned to Takatsuki on January 23rd this year. The name of the restaurant is "Ichi Ni San," according to regular customers. Visited on a weekday around 6 pm, with a few customers already there. The menu mainly consists of yakitori, with 27 varieties ranging from 130 to 260 yen. They also offer raw chicken dishes, Takatsuki Jidori dishes, and grilled items. The menu includes a variety of vegetables, with a focus on quality. They offer a selection of shochu and sake. The reviewer ordered a beer, appetizer, various yakitori dishes, lemon chu-hi, steamed taro from Tomitabayashi, cheese-topped jumbo mushrooms from Yamagata, and Maou with hot water (treated by a regular customer). The total bill was around 4200 yen. The meal was delicious, the portions were just right for one person, and the atmosphere was not too crowded. The staff were friendly, and regular customers were kind. Overall, a highly recommended restaurant with a unique selection of dishes.
