I heard that a new branch of Kanazawa Curry Kenkyusho, known as Gogo Curry, has opened in Hirakata Kuzuha, so I decided to visit. The store seems to be coexisting with Akakara for some reason, so I cautiously went in to check it out. In the vicinity, there is also a Gogo Curry in Okubo, Uji, so it would be lucky if one opened nearby! When I went to Akakara, I saw a sign for Gogo Curry on the storefront, so I entered through the entrance of Akakara. After disinfecting my hands and having my temperature checked, I was guided to a private table with a stove for two people. The atmosphere was completely like a yakiniku table at Akakara, but both menus were placed, which felt strange. This time, I came to eat curry, so I ordered the Rosukatsu Curry in a medium size. As I was pouring water for myself, Fukujinzuke was brought to the table first. After about 5 minutes, the Rosukatsu Curry, served on a stainless steel plate with cabbage, arrived. As always, a fork was provided on the plate instead of a spoon. This unique presentation, along with the black color of the curry and the large, thin Rosukatsu, confirmed that it was Gogo Curry from Kanazawa Curry Kenkyusho! I added the Fukujinzuke, cut the pork cutlet with a fork, and started eating right away! Oh! The aroma that comes through the nose! The crispy tonkatsu goes well with the rich Western-style curry! The taste, which I haven't had in a long time, is something the tongue remembers! You can't adjust the spiciness, but this exquisite balance is a marriage that I personally really like! Although the cabbage is a bit in the way, fried food and curry go very well together, so I kept eating more and more. Even the regular size was a sufficient amount, so I was completely satisfied and full after a great meal! It's a great location with Lumbini, an Indian curry restaurant next door, but Gogo Curry managed to hide well within Akakara! It was really delicious! I'm glad it opened nearby! Thank you for the meal!
