The restaurant has some bad habits that are known to be bad. The Taiwanese owner is currently in Yokohama yesterday and the day before, and will be in Osaka today and tomorrow for taste checking, although they were not there. The water spinach dish is usually not bad unless something is seriously wrong, but the garlic and chili just seem to be there without fully transferring their flavor to the ingredients. Especially the chili just sits there. The garlic is barely noticeable. The texture of the shrimp in the shrimp chili dish is unpleasant when chewed, not tender but rather crunchy. The stir-fry with chili sauce is also lacking. As for the fried rice, it is different from last time, with the rice being overly hard this time, making the previous issue of excessive grease seem trivial. The service is not necessarily rude but seems to be spinning in circles. If they really want to have that "Delicious Smile~!" from Taiwan, they should hand over the operation to a proper food and beverage management company and start over. This will be the last visit unless some really interesting news comes up. Oolong tea, water spinach stir-fry, shrimp chili, shrimp fried rice.

Newly opened in Honcho, "Taiwanese Hot Pot and Minsheng Fried Rice" offers lunch sets with fried rice as the main dish, with a choice of 10 different ingredients priced around 1000-1400 yen. The lunch sets come with spicy miso, soup, and pickled vegetables, and you can also get a large serving. In the evening, they offer various types of hot pot dishes, which also seem intriguing.

I recently visited the newly opened "Minsei Chahan Osaka Branch" for lunch in Honcho. The restaurant is located underground and has tables for two and four people, with a seating capacity for 26 customers. On the day of my visit, about 80% of the seats were filled, and I was seated at an available table for two. There are 11 types of fried rice on the menu, but the pineapple fried rice was sold out that day. After some consideration, I ordered the beef fried rice. It took about 10 minutes for the fried rice to arrive, served with soup and pickled vegetables. I took the first bite of the fried rice, and it was delicious. It had a fluffy texture with a slightly spicy seasoning. It was a bit light in flavor, but the beef added a nice umami taste. I finished it quickly and thought about trying a different fried rice dish next time I visit!

A specialty fried rice shop has opened in Honmachi!! They came from Taiwan. It seems like they won some kind of award in Taiwan. There are too many choices and it's hard to decide... The popular ones are beef and egg, but I chose my favorite sausage fried rice without hesitation. Wow, it tastes just like in Taiwan!! This is going to be a hit. There were also many side menu options. Looks like I can have a drink too.

Recommended beef fried rice, the meat is like rubber with a hint of flavor but not really Taiwanese, making it a boring dish. It comes with lukewarm powdered soup and a high price tag of 1300 yen. I'm only rating based on taste. A restaurant worth revisiting should not only have good food. Even if the food is delicious, there are some places I don't want to go back to. I live to eat.

I have never eaten the original in Taiwan, so I can't say for sure, but the reproduction seems to be lacking due to cooking techniques. It was slightly oily and not moist, with a somewhat sticky texture. It would have been better if it had a more crispy texture rather than oily. Some Taiwanese people mentioned in Google Maps reviews that the rice was dry. The seasoning was mild in comparison to what I expected, with no strong impact. The portion was small. The taste itself was decent, but unless I come across some compelling information, I don't think I will revisit. I feel like I want to try comparing the Taiwanese and Yokohama Chinatown restaurants. Beef fried rice.

I found out about a new restaurant and decided to go after a long day of overtime work. Unfortunately, they stopped serving fried rice at 8 pm, so I ended up ordering a hot pot instead. The hot pot was meant for two people, but when it arrived, it had a lot fewer ingredients than expected. Even considering the missing ingredients, it seemed like a very small portion for two people. The amount of soup was sufficient, but they added more soup right after it had just finished cooking, which was puzzling. The taste was nowhere near the stone pot hot pot I had in Shinsaibashi a few years ago, but it was decent. I noticed deep-fried upper stomach on the menu and decided to order it in memory of the unfortunate exit of Mr. Minoton. The payment process was a bit confusing, but after it was corrected, the amount was accurate (it seemed like the hot pot was initially prepared for three people). The service was polite, but the staff seemed like they belonged in America-mura and had just aged. The order included: oolong tea, pork and stone pot hot pot set for two, hot pot vegetables, chicken meatballs (missing), shrimp balls (missing), tofu (missing), glass noodles, dessert (choose from 3, I chose almond jelly), additional hot pot, shrimp balls, scallops, ramen, and deep-fried upper stomach.

A newly opened restaurant in the office district of Honmachi in Osaka. It seems rare to have fried rice as the main dish. They also have stores in Taiwan and Yokohama. I tried the most popular dish, beef fried rice. It comes with soup and pickled vegetables. If you have a big appetite, you might find the portion a bit small. They also offer other dishes, so it might be good to order something else to go with it.

The king-style fried rice is definitely delicious. The pickled vegetables are really tasty. You can change the flavor with the addition of chili peppers.
