I stopped by Parisshu on a weekday for the first time. I had tried to visit on a weekend before, but the long line and sudden rain made me and my children run away without an umbrella. This time, there was no line on a weekday! The shop is located in the Daibiru building near the Conrad Hotel, giving off a luxurious vibe. The entrance feels like a secret base, tucked away at the edge of the building. The shop was not crowded, allowing me to leisurely choose from their wide variety of stylish bread. I bought the Integral bread for 400 yen, the Red Tea Time for 450 yen, and the Epi Lardon Fume for 420 yen. The Red Tea Time was a new item with plenty of blueberries, perfect for imagining enjoying it with tea at home. The bread was fruity and juicy, while the Epi bread had a delicious bacon flavor. The Shokupan (white bread) was unlike anything I had tasted before, with a unique and original flavor. It was chewy and full of flavor, with a surprising sweetness. I was impressed by the fusion of flavors in their bread. I wanted to buy more, but I limited myself to three types this time. I will definitely be back soon, and the Shokupan is a must-try!

I visited at 14:26 on a regular day. There was no line at this time, but popular breads were sold out. However, there are over 30 types of bread to choose from, each one tempting to try. Jambon Beurre for 620 yen is a hard bread sandwich with high-quality white ham and butter. The ham is surprisingly tender, and the butter and hard French bread are chewy. Prie Marron for 410 yen has plenty of chestnut cream on flaky Danish pastry. Calebrioches Fico The Chocolat for 460 yen is a cocoa-flavored brioche with chocolate cream inside, providing a satisfying taste with a hint of acidity. Black Sugar Marron for 430 yen features chocolate, white chocolate, and chestnuts baked together, offering a strong sweetness with plenty of chocolate and chestnut.

I had some errands in Kitashinchi and was looking for a souvenir nearby, so I searched and found this shop with high ratings. I decided to go a bit further to Watanabebashi. When I arrived, there were a few people lined up along the wall. The inside of the shop was very stylish, but the staff seemed busy. It's a popular shop, so that's expected. I chose two items from the freshly baked bread, and later found out that it's not unusual for the total to exceed 5,000 yen at the checkout. The price was high, so my expectations were even higher when I tried them at home! The bread was as rumored - hard on the outside but soft inside. Not too sweet, with a strong taste of the ingredients! (By the taste of the ingredients, I mean it's different from a simple taste.) It was incredibly delicious and impressive! I felt like having wine with it. It's definitely worth the wait in line. I will definitely go back!

Visited in the early afternoon on a regular day. There was a line of 10 people waiting. We were able to enter the shop in about 15 minutes. It had been a while since my last visit, so my heart was dancing with joy. Just looking at the colorful array of breads lined up made me smile. I had planned to only choose two breads as I was going on a bakery crawl, but... I couldn't resist. - Tricolor: A visually striking bread with three colorful layers. It had a hard crust with strawberry and dried fruit dough, pistachio dough, and blackcurrant and dried fruit dough. I sliced it thinly and savored each layer carefully. It was quite expensive at 518 yen, so I didn't devour it all at once. - Miel Wandering in the Forest (half): This bread had hazelnuts, pecans, cashews, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, and who knows how many more nuts! A nut lover's dream. I sliced it and indulged in the nutty goodness. - Orange Epi: Orange peel is kneaded into the dough of this hard bread. The citrusy freshness and sweetness combined well with the hard crust, and I really enjoyed it. - Sandwich Bread: I had always missed out on buying this bread, but this time they had one without raisins. I was thrilled to finally get it. I sliced it, toasted it without spreading anything on it, and just took a bite. It was delicious even without toasting, but when toasted, the crust was crispy, and the inside was soft and fluffy. Paris Assise is a special bakery for me, as a nut and dried fruit lover, a hard bread enthusiast, and a bread lover in general. Despite the wait and the slightly higher prices, it's a bakery I love and want to visit regularly. Thank you for the meal!

On a day of exploring cafes in Osaka, I visited Cafe AMADEUS STORY and then headed to Paris H (Paris Ash) just a few seconds away. The entrance had a cute swing (please do not touch) and the bakery looked like a corner of an old castle. Despite the small entrance, the inside of the shop was spacious with high ceilings. The flying pig decorations in the space were incredibly adorable! I wanted to buy the pistachio bread, but I had already eaten curry, shaved ice, parfait, ice cream, and drinks during this gourmet tour in Osaka, so there was no room left in my stomach. Therefore, I decided to buy a cute wrapped pastry (with the shop's sticker) instead. There were various types of baked goods, and after much deliberation, I chose the Coconut Sablé for ¥432. Looking back at the photos now, I wish I had also bought the Galette Bretonne... The Coconut Sablé had a firm texture but crumbled gently in the mouth, with a delightful coconut flavor. I took photos inside the shop with permission from the staff. The staff were polite and provided excellent service. It was a pleasant experience! Thank you for the delicious treat.

I happened to come across the best bakery in Osaka! The displayed breads in the store are all shining, making it difficult to choose. Among them, the recommended ones are croissants, kouign-amann, and catour fromage! I want to keep going back to find my favorite bread!

I heard that this bakery specializes in hard bread, so I decided to visit. After much deliberation, I purchased the Three Meals bread that I often saw on Instagram. When I tried it, I was surprised by the dense, cake-like texture and moistness of the bread. It was a unique experience that I felt I could only have here. Although the price is a bit higher compared to other bakeries, the satisfying texture and delicious taste make it worth it. There are many other bread options that caught my eye, so I would love to visit again when I am in the area.

Yama-chan, wearing a skirt, appeared. Last time, there was a big disaster when she caught her finger in the automatic door at this store and bled a lot. This time, let's hope there are no accidents... Today, my husband reminded me not to get hurt. Last time, there was a big fuss because I got hurt. I lined up at this restaurant for the first time during lunchtime. No matter what time you come, you always have to line up. I usually visit in the morning. Even in the morning, there is quite a line. I was able to enter the store earlier than usual for lunchtime because many nearby office workers buy quickly for lunch. It's still hot, so I can't handle cream-based pastries. I usually end up spending around 5000 yen on bread, but today I bought less. The bread has been renewed. I bought two loaves for my nephew who has an egg allergy and for our family. The previous bread was moist and dense, but this time it has more air bubbles and is moist and chewy. It's delicious when eaten fresh, but the taste deteriorates when frozen. The ingredients have been changed and the price has gone down, but I still prefer the previous version. However, the quality is still high. I can't help but want to eat it even if I have to line up. Thank you for the meal! I love this bakery!

After having curry for lunch at the old Yamu residence in the same building, we went to Parisian on the first floor. I used to frequent Fool de Ash in Honmachi, and it was my favorite bakery in Kansai. This was my first visit since they moved. Reviews mentioned long lines, but luckily, there was no one inside when we arrived after 1 pm on a weekday, so we could take our time choosing. The prices are a bit high, but the quality of the ingredients is excellent and the taste is satisfying. The bread here has unique combinations of ingredients, yet each one maintains a perfect balance without losing its flavor, which is very appealing.

When it comes to delicious bread in the center of Osaka, this place is the best. I have visited many times and it has become my last stronghold after my favorite shops like Route 271, Escargot, and La Fleur de Neige have moved or closed down. I purchased the following items: - Vision Poire Caramel ¥400: The caramel was still warm, so I immediately shared it with my child. The smooth bitter caramel combined with sweet pear was incredibly delicious. The sugar on the surface was also tasty! - Mimoretta ¥420: A bread with Mimolette cheese and karasumi, which was shockingly delicious. You can't find this elsewhere and I highly recommend it. - Fluffy Cafe ¥360: I love coffee, so I couldn't resist buying this. The coffee chocolate dough with macadamia nuts was great. - Sora e ¥360: The blackcurrant dough was excellent! The kumquats and chestnuts added a nice touch and made it delicious. - Saint-Tropez Genoise ¥360: A brioche dough filled with custard cream. A guaranteed good taste. - Calefille Chocolat ¥480: A square cocoa brioche dough filled with chocolate cream. It's impossible not to taste delicious. It also looks cute. There are too many tempting bread options, so I always have trouble deciding. Most of the bread is soft, which is great for children to enjoy. I also noticed the Lime and Lemon Epi, which looks delicious, but I can't eat all of them! There's no need for me to reiterate, but the artistic combinations of delicious bread created by chefs who love bread are lined up impressively. I sincerely appreciate their continued provision of delicious bread, which has remained unchanged (or evolved) over time. Thank you for the meal!

I visited in the early evening on a weekday. There were about 5 customers in the store, and I think there were around 10 types of bread left. I got the onion, olive and anchovy, and cream bread for takeout. Personally, I thought the onion bread was very delicious. Next time, I want to come a little earlier to choose from a variety of breads.

In July 2023, after having lunch at the new Fukushima restaurant "Artisan," I visited "PARIS-h" located in the Daibiru main building on Nakanoshima for the first time in a while. The shop was filled with unique and stylish bread as always. This time, I bought 5 different kinds: - Mimoretta (454 yen): Mimolete cheese & karasumi - Pan-O-Japon (454 yen): Dried bonito flakes & kombu seaweed - Kai Kara (389 yen): Anchovy, karasumi, Gouda cheese, walnut - Relish Cafe (389 yen): Bitter coffee cream, macadamia nuts - Pan-O-Chocolat-Criollo (421 yen): Criollo chocolate, cocoa nibs I can never go wrong with Paris-H. Among the ones I bought this time, Pan-O-Japon and Mimoretta left a strong impression, but Pan-O-Chocolat was also unique, and Relish Cafe & Kai Kara were delicious too. There were many other tempting bread options on display, so I would like to visit again when I'm in the Nakanoshima area. Thank you for the delicious meal!

On July 29, 2023, I enjoyed a lunch course at the French restaurant "Artisan" located near Shin-Fukushima Station on the JR Tozai Line. After that, I walked less than 1km to Watanabe Hashi Station and took the Keihan Nakanoshima Line to get back home. On the way, I made a quick stop at "Parisshu" on the 1st floor of Daibiru Main Building. This was my 4th visit, with the last one being 9 years ago in October 2014 when I dined at the Italian restaurant "Quinto Canto" in the same building. I purchased some popular high-end bread from "Parisshu," which was selected as one of the "Bread Log Bread WEST Top 100 Stores 2022" in Osaka. I got the following items: Chestnut Butter for 486 yen, Pain au Chocolat Criollo for 421 yen, and Pain au Japon for 454 yen. The Chestnut Butter bread, which wouldn't last long, was saved for a late-night dessert. It was a delicious combination of sweet Vienna bread sandwiched with chestnut paste and salted butter, creating a unique and addictive flavor. The next morning, I enjoyed the Pain au Chocolat Criollo with cold coffee. This bread had a buttery and crispy texture with a rich dark chocolate that wasn't too sweet, offering a sophisticated taste. Lastly, the Pain au Japon was an interesting bread with a dashi flavor from dried bonito flakes and true kelp. Although the price has increased to over 400 yen since my last visit 9 years ago, the deliciousness of these bread items definitely justified the cost. Overall, they were all delightful treats. Bon appétit!

I arrived 10 minutes before the usual opening time (10:50) and there were still 3 groups ahead of me... This bakery always has a line! You can see the bread lined up in the showcase, and the staff will pick them out for you. If you ask, they will explain in detail what kind of bread it is. The staff are also very kind and wonderful people! The taste is of course amazing, no matter what you eat. I always buy bread with nuts and fruits in the hard bread category! Also, this time when I was paying, a freshly baked brioche was brought out and they asked if I would like to try it, so I ended up buying it without thinking haha. I ate it as soon as I left the store, and I was so impressed by how delicious the freshly baked brioche was! (It was so delicious that I jumped for joy) I always end up buying a lot without looking at the prices, and this time it was a whopping 4500 yen haha. But it's okay because it's delicious! My whole family loves the bread from this shop!

I took out a sandwich and a brioche praline from Liette. It was around 12 o'clock on a weekday, but I was able to buy them quite smoothly. Personally, I think the sandwich was tastier. It was quite substantial, so I thought 1.5 would be enough for lunch.

I visited at 15:55 on the weekend. Located just a 1-minute walk from Keihan Watanabebashi Station, this restaurant is a highly acclaimed establishment featured in the "Tabelog Bread WEST Top 100 Shops 2022" list. It has been receiving awards continuously since 2017. The shop, opened in July 2013, has a small but elegant atmosphere inside the Daibiru Honkan building. During my visit, the front counter and cash register were managed by three female staff members. I ordered the following items and here is my review of each: "Chaos" - ¥460 - Excellent A unique pancake-like bread made with rye flour mixed with cassis puree, dried strawberries, cranberries, raisins, homemade mango compote, and unsalted cream cheese. The rich flavor and unique combination make it a must-try! "From the Sea" - ¥360 - Excellent A stick-shaped bread made with anchovies, bottarga, Gouda cheese, and walnuts. The perfect balance of saltiness and sea aroma is delightful. "Epi Bour Ail" - ¥410 - Good A bread wrapped with Iberico bacon, baked, and then spread with garlic butter. The hearty flavor and chewy texture leave a lasting impression. "Fig and Grapefruit Mousse" - ¥840 - Good A rye bread with dried strawberries and grapefruit peel. The rich flavor is satisfying. The background music is French radio! The clientele consists of bread enthusiasts, with a moderate number of customers. The female ratio is about 60%. At the time of my visit, the Tabelog rating was 3.88, indicating high praise. This creative bakery, with a motto of "French-style" or "Parisian-style," is truly one of the top 100 shops. Bon appétit!

Located in Nakanoshima, Kita-ku, Osaka, this bakery was selected as one of the top 100 bakeries in Japan in 2022. A few people had already started lining up about 30 minutes before opening. The number of customers allowed inside at a time was limited, so it operated on a system where one person could enter when one person left. Since I had a dinner party at 3 p.m., I decided to purchase just one item, the "Chef's Specialty" called Mango Fromage (tax included at 443 yen). This bread was made with mango puree mixed into the dough, cream cheese inside, and topped with mango compote. I enjoyed the combination of the creamy mango and cream cheese. It seems that only cash payment was accepted at this bakery.

It's been a while since I visited. During the pandemic, I could often enter without waiting, but recently there are lines. I arrived 30 minutes before opening on Saturday and there were already 12 people in line. I always have trouble deciding among the many types of bread. I bought croissants, escargots, pistachio, brioche praline, and sandwich bread. The bread is around 400 yen each, so it's a bit pricey, but it was delicious.

I had a gourmet trip in Osaka for 1 night and 2 days, but surprisingly the restaurant I wanted to visit was closed on the first day. I heard from a friend that it was delicious and highly recommended, so I couldn't give up and decided to visit the next day. Luckily, it was open. The building where the restaurant is located is amazing, with beautiful sculptures. The entrance is on the outside of the building. The nearest station is Watanabebashi. I wanted to try the three-colored bread, but unfortunately it was sold out. There were also vividly colored breads using beets. I was drawn to the name "strawberry milk" priced at ¥410. When I bought it and received it, I was surprised by how hot it was. It was freshly baked and piping hot. I have had bread reheated at cafes before, but this was on a different level. It was like it had just come out of the oven. The white chocolate on top paired perfectly with the sweet and sour strawberry filling, and the bread itself was deliciously fragrant. The level of deliciousness of bread in the Kansai region is high, as I have heard from locals. I definitely want to make time to visit this restaurant again and make sure to get the three-colored bread next time. They also had baked goods available.

I was granted permission to take photos inside the store and visited when it wasn't crowded by chance! There were cute pigs inside the store. I love hard rye bread, so I bought all the remaining rye bread varieties. Also, I bought canelé, but honestly, it wasn't to my taste. However, everything else I bought was amazing! The walnut-filled rye bread, the sinful fig and gorgonzola rye bread with Spanish dried figs and walnuts, the Dijon cassis purée, honey, and Dijon mustard rye bread, and the dried fruit-filled rye bread (fig, apple, mango, cranberry, blueberry, apricot, walnut) were all so delicious that I was truly ecstatic! The Dijon mustard in the Ségle de Dijon made it taste like a snack, but that's because it's mixed with mustard. All the rye bread was delicious, but my favorite was the sinful fig and dried fruit-filled Ségle Fruity Séck. I want to go again if it's not crowded! Thank you for the feast!

Last time I visited this place in Osaka, most of the bread was sold out so I had to leave. So this time, I came a little earlier for revenge! This time, about 60% of the products were still available, but the most interesting thing here is the funny names of the bread. There are bread with normal French names, as well as bread with unique Japanese names. This time, I purchased the following: Seagle Boule - A rye bread with mixed cranberries, figs, apricots, and raisins sandwiched with salted butter. Fig Gorgonzola - A rye dough kneaded with Spanish Peharelo starter, dried figs, and walnuts. Both breads use dried fruits, and the way they use dried fruits and nuts, as well as the hardness of the bread, are the characteristics of this shop. The wheat flour taste is solidly felt, and the more you chew, the more depth of flavor and deliciousness come through. I would love to have it with a delicious coffee. Thank you for the meal.
