First day of my business trip to Sapporo. I wanted to try a dish typical of Sapporo, so I searched for a restaurant at Sapporo Station. Among the tempting options like soup curry, conveyor belt sushi, and miso ramen, I chose miso ramen this time. The restaurant I visited this time was "Misora Men Yoshino" located in the underground shopping area called Sapporo Apia. It's a small restaurant with only counter seats, and you purchase your meal ticket at a machine by the entrance. I wanted to try a Sapporo specialty, so I bought the miso ramen (¥880) with extra toppings. Surprisingly, there was a promotion where if you order ramen between 2 pm and 5 pm on weekdays, you can get three toppings for free, including corn, extra noodles, green onions, bean sprouts, and butter. I arrived at the restaurant just past 2 pm, so I was able to enjoy this limited-time offer. Being frugal, I ordered extra noodles, corn, and butter. Before I knew it, the miso butter corn ramen with extra noodles was ready. There were only about two other customers, and the ramen arrived about 5 minutes after ordering. The miso flavor of the soup was delicious and refreshing. I couldn't help but keep going back for more with my spoon. The volume of the extra noodles was quite substantial, making it feel heavy when picking them up with chopsticks. I had imagined curly noodles, but the miso ramen here came with straight noodles. The butter added a nice touch when melted into the soup, enhancing the flavor. I found myself wanting to savor every last kernel of corn as I continued to enjoy the soup, and before I knew it, I had finished the whole bowl. It was a satisfying meal. Thank you for the delicious food.
