〔Revisited in Sep. 2012〕After seeing a reviewer's picture playing with a cat and feeling envious, I decided to visit this place. Usually, I just enjoy tea and snacks while admiring the dogs, but this time I tried their lunch menu and had the "Hayashi Rice." In simple terms, it was just a "regular Hayashi Rice." Since it's a dog cafe, they don't spend hours making it like a gourmet restaurant, but it was still tasty and worth the price of ¥500. They also had a soft-serve ice cream machine now, where you can make your own soft-serve on a cone. It seems like a nice addition, especially for kids and young women. On that day, the adorable puppy "Jinbei" (born in July 2012), the son of the shop's mascot dogs "Arare & Senbei," was there. It's a lovely place for families who can't have pets at home but still want to interact with animals.
〔First visit in Mar. 2012〕After visiting the popular curry restaurant "Tandoor Panee" in Kita-senju, I stumbled upon this dog cafe with a sign that caught my attention. The location was right next to Tandoor Panee. The place was empty when I arrived, and even though I didn't have a dog with me, I decided to check it out. The cafe had a bright and woody atmosphere with seating for 14, all dog-friendly. As soon as I entered, the shop's mascot dogs, Arare and Senbei, two Toy Poodles, warmly welcomed me. The shop owner, who is a Dachshund, and the dogs made me feel so relaxed and happy. A handsome young man, a regular customer, also brought his adorable Chihuahua, Takeru, adding to the charm of the place. It was hard to leave such a soothing environment.
Note: Since this is a dog cafe, I will refrain from giving a rating on the food. But the service from Arare and Senbei gets a 5-star rating.
P.S. The shop owner, COCOMO, was delighted when customers mentioned they found the place through reviews on Tabelog. If you visit because of Tabelog, be sure to let them know.
