I took the Osaka City Bus and arrived at JR Namba Station. I went to Hong Kong Dim Sum Sakuragawa for lunch, which opened on March 25, 2023, right next to the Tominaga Hospital, a neurosurgery hospital on Sennichimae Street. The interior of the restaurant is spacious with tables lined up. There were four people in the restaurant when I arrived. A waitress in a striped cap led us to a table for four. The menu offers two lunch options on weekdays. Today, I decided to try one of them. The A lunch set costs 1200 yen (tax included). The menu doesn't have the names of the dishes, so I asked the female staff. The dishes are brought out as they are ready, not all at once. First, we were served a small bowl of congee with dried scallops. It was delicious, especially with the yellow dried scallops. Next, a steamer basket of dim sum arrived, which included three types of dumplings. They were all delicious and had a nice texture. We were instructed to eat them with soy sauce. Then, we had a dish of radish cake with bacon. Lastly, we were served Hong Kong-style fried noodles. Each dish was served separately, like a mini course. The dumplings were all flavorful and had a nice chewy texture. The Hong Kong-style fried noodles were also delicious, with a good oyster sauce flavor. The radish cake was soft and not sticky, making it easy to eat. This was my first time trying Hong Kong cuisine, and I was impressed by the authentic flavors and the friendly staff. I highly recommend trying the set courses as well. I hope the restaurant continues to thrive. Thank you for the delicious meal.

In July of the 5th year of Reiwa, the evening business hours (5:00 pm to 10:00 pm) offer draft beer for 600 yen, Shaoxing wine for 400 yen, a variety of dim sum for 850 yen, simmered tofu skin and pork in oyster sauce for 900 yen, and chicken gizzard with yuzu sauce for 700 yen. You can enjoy authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine! I opted for a la carte ordering because it was nighttime, but they also offer great set menus during weekday lunch hours.
