Luxury hotel "W OSAKA" opened in March 2021. It is one of the representative 5-star hotels in Osaka. Positioned as a luxury brand of the Marriott International, it is the 58th W Hotel to open worldwide and the first in Japan. Designed by the world-renowned architect from Osaka, Tadao Ando, the exterior is a simple monolith in black, standing out in the center of Osaka. The interior features colorful neon decorations, creating a vibrant and hidden design concept. The W stands for "Whenever/Whatever," symbolizing a commitment to meeting all guest needs with overflowing hospitality. The concept is "a playground for adults," with unique and strong personalities throughout. The hotel features six restaurants that anyone can visit, with the only pool bar in Osaka, "WET BAR," offering Instagram-worthy views. Located a 3-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station on the Midosuji Line, the hotel is a 27-story building with 337 rooms from the 6th to the 27th floor. The luxury all-glass exterior is a landmark. Upon entering, guests are greeted with a unique space leading to the reception area. Luggage can be stored, and guests can proceed to the front desk on the 3rd floor via the elevator. This time, we used the breakfast service. Breakfast is served at the restaurant "OHANA" on the 3rd floor. The seating area extends along the window, with high ceilings and elegant lace creating private spaces. Guests can choose an egg dish and coffee or tea upon seating. I chose the popular Eggs Benedict, which was rich and delicious with runny eggs on crispy bread. The buffet offers stylish items that make for a chic morning, with a wide selection from bread and salad to various Japanese-style dishes. Upon entering the room, we were surprised by the welcome donuts, which were delicious! I chose a pistachio-flavored croissant, which was also tasty. The pistachio sweetness complemented the crispy croissant, making it a light and flavorful choice for breakfast. Takoyaki, a local specialty, was available for guests to customize with bonito flakes, seaweed, sauce, and broth. A variety of about 10 fruits were also offered. Lastly, I enjoyed a rich orange juice served in a small bottle. We stayed in a Cozy Guest Room with one king bed on the 24th floor. The room seemed to be upgraded, with a fantastic view of Midosuji Street from the high floor. As soon as we opened the door, the curtains automatically opened, revealing the breathtaking view below! There was a minibar by the window, allowing guests to enjoy drinks while admiring the night view in the room, which was a fantastic feature. The bathtub was located outside the shower room, creating a sophisticated and stylish space for an extraordinary experience. The hotel offers many elements for inbound travelers and is perfect for Instagram-worthy girls' gatherings. It is an emotionally luxurious hotel where you can deliver smiles to your loved ones on special occasions.
