We ordered the Natural Shrimp Fry & Red Snow Crab Cream Croquette and Hamburger set (tax included 1738 yen) with Soup and Rice set (tax included 704 yen). Too much to think about, so I decided to go to Restaurant ROYAL. Their curry never disappoints! The main curry at Royal Host is the "Jawa Curry," a classic that has been around since the beginning. I went for the European-style beef curry today. It had a hint of spiciness, but it was just right. This is what a European-style beef curry should taste like! Delicious! Thank you for the meal~♪

I went there after a long time and surprisingly it had a high-class feel. It's on the expensive side for a family restaurant, right? I chose the steak pilaf from the seasonal limited menu and the meat was delicious, I finished it all in no time. The gratin was full of ingredients, piping hot, and had an elegant taste. It felt a bit unsatisfying because the portions were small. The price was decent. I don't have high expectations for family restaurants, so I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was and left satisfied.

In June 2017, Royal Host, a high-class family restaurant in Kyushu, collaborated with Osaka Gas. Today, I had lunch on a holiday with my daughter and grandchild. I chose the Japanese-style hamburger for 980 yen, and my wife chose the Cosmo Doria for 900 yen. I went for the steak set meal for 2480 yen. We ordered all with a drink set. Royal Host is indeed high-class among family restaurants, and the food is delicious. The hamburger and Cosmo Doria are standard menu items that have been around since the opening, and they are still tasty. The Jawa curry pork ginger and Royal hamburger are also delicious choices. I will have breakfast at the family restaurant chain "Royal Host" after my check-up. I had the "Royal Morning" with fried egg and toast for 637 yen, including a drink from the drink bar. I ordered French toast and two types of fruit with iced coffee as a snack. It cost 939 yen. The coffee was refillable but I didn't get a refill because it wasn't tasty. The banana was just a banana and the strawberry was just a strawberry. They were average, but the French toast was delicious with a hint of sweetness and a soft texture. The carpet in the restaurant was plush, the chairs were comfortable, and there was calming music playing. It had a cozy atmosphere that made me feel like taking a nap.

In the morning, my wife woke me up. She suddenly felt like eating Royal Host's Eggs Benedict, so the three of us, me, my wife, and our son, went there. Despite it being just after opening, there were surprisingly many customers. I had a Japanese set meal, but my wife's dish looked much tastier! She kept saying how delicious it was! The eggs inside were perfectly soft, and we were quite satisfied. When I went to get drinks, I noticed that many other customers were also eating Eggs Benedict. We will definitely go back!

Royal Host is a place I enjoy because they have unique menu items. This time, I decided to try Eggs Benedict. I love Eggs Benedict and first had it in Hawaii. It's not easy to find in Japan, so I was excited to see it on the menu near my house and went for breakfast on my day off. I finally got to have Eggs Benedict! Oh wait, there's only one egg. I guess in Japan, they serve it with one egg instead of two like in Hawaii. The taste was quite similar to what I had in Hawaii and I enjoyed it! I like trying different items at Royal Host, but my favorite is the Clubhouse Sandwich. I will continue to try new things there! Oh, and the curry was also simple and delicious.

There has been a Royal Host in front of Kintetsu Hachinori Station for quite some time. I visited this place on a Sunday morning because I suddenly felt like eating beef stew. The reason I chose this place was because I had limited time and there was parking available. I ordered a few dishes and waited patiently. Several couples were also waiting for their food inside the restaurant. The beef stew was lukewarm, and the pasta was overcooked. It didn't feel like the Royal Host I used to know from decades ago, but at least the parking was free.

Continuing from the Obon holiday period, I was forced to evacuate from Nara Health Land and return to my hometown, feeling extremely hungry. I decided to search for a top-ranked udon restaurant on Tabelog, and found Osaka Sanuki Udon Setouchi Seimen 710, currently ranked third in the Osaka udon rankings. I arrived at the restaurant by car, slightly lost, only to find that it was closed for the Obon holiday. Disappointed, I searched for the second-ranked restaurant, Mitsu Shima, which was open until 3:00 PM. After some driving and a bit of confusion, I finally reached the udon shop, only to discover that it was also closed for the holiday. Feeling defeated and exhausted, I decided to eat anywhere that was open. I ended up at Royal Host near Naniwa Health Land Yutopia, a chain known for its higher prices among family restaurants. I ordered the Om Curry from their curry fair menu, but found the egg on the Omurice to be overcooked and lacking in flavor. The chicken rice inside was also bland and lacking in taste, even with the curry sauce added. The prices were high for the quality of food served, and the dishes like Chicken Soy Sauce and Pork Ginger were overly salty. The Tali Curry Set, which allowed you to try three different curry sauces with naan, was also expensive for what it offered. The service was polite, but the lack of a bell to call the staff made it difficult to get their attention. Overall, the experience was disappointing in terms of taste, cost, and service. I doubt I will be returning anytime soon.
