This is a ryokan located on a high hill climbed from the town of Shiretoko and Utoro. The inn overlooks a cliff, so you can see the Sea of Okhotsk right there, and as the name suggests, you can admire the sunset. When you arrive at the inn, the first thing to do is to take a bath. It is not a hot spring with flowing water, but it is a hot spring. The water is colorless and odorless, with no particular features, and the facilities are somewhat old-fashioned. Although it was said that you can see the sea from the window of the bathhouse and it is a great view, honestly, it was not so impressive as the scenery you can see by driving around this area. Then, the long-awaited dinner. However, this inn itself does not serve dinner. So, what to do is to go to the Shiretoko Grand Hotel Kitakobushi near Utoro port. I assume that this inn may have been acquired by Kitakobushi or something, and the management is the same. Therefore, they may have decided to consolidate the meals at Kitakobushi, which serves a buffet for dinner. When it's time for dinner, a shuttle car is arranged for both going and returning, and you will be taken to the restaurant "Dining Nami" at Kitakobushi, which is about a 5-minute drive away. I will review the dinner buffet (buffet) with about 70 items prepared at Shiretoko Grand Hotel Kitakobushi.
