A sushi restaurant near Hankyu Senriyama Station. The interior is bright and the service is friendly. The oshibori (hot towel) provided was made of cloth. This time, I ordered the daily sushi set for 1200 yen. It included 5 pieces of sushi, tempura, salmon nanban, chawanmushi (savory egg custard), miso soup, and kinpira gobou (braised burdock root). All the sushi was made with fish, and I was happy that there were no shrimp or squid included.

I forgot the name of the set, but for 1850 yen, it wasn't that expensive. The restaurant was quite crowded, but the food was delicious and worth the price.

When I visited my master's parents' house, they gave me a bento box to take home with me. My mother-in-law had ordered it for me, thinking it would be difficult for me to prepare dinner after returning home. How kind of her! The premium bento box cost around 3000 yen and the contents were splendid. It had all my favorite foods. Bento boxes often don't have tasty rice, but this one had delicious sushi vinegar and a well-balanced and tasty meal. The portion size was also generous, and I was satisfied with the bento box that matched its price. I suggested that maybe we could use this place for our New Year's feast as well, but we'll see how that goes.

Takeaway sushi rolls with a hefty volume. The ingredients are classic sushi roll staples. The sweet tamagoyaki is a favorite of my child. They devour the entire sushi roll... but only pick out and eat the tamagoyaki (laughs). It seems they don't like the other ingredients. Tamagoyaki, tamagoyaki, tamagoyaki, occasionally with vinegared rice, but still tamagoyaki. Even the beautiful colors of the sushi don't escape my child's pickiness. I looked it up and it seems there are quite a few branches of this restaurant. Embarrassingly, I didn't know about it before. Whatever can't be finished is saved for breakfast.
