It had been a while since we visited Hachiman to meet a friend. "There aren't many restaurant options I want to go to in Hachiman," I said, and it was decided that we would probably like Jun Ki. We ordered pickled radish for 390 yen, salted squid for 440 yen, Unzen ham for 500 yen, crab cream croquette for 390 yen, chicken with basil and cheese for 500 yen, grilled buri fish for 770 yen, chicken nanban for 770 yen, fatty tuna with green onions for 770 yen, demi-glace hamburger steak on a hot plate for 770 yen, and tamago kake gohan (rice with raw egg) for 330 yen. I asked, "Which menu item do I want to eat?" and "How about this one?" confirming our choices. "Great," "Delicious," "Yes to everything," "You're unusually agreeable today," "Well, there's only yes-worthy items on this menu!" We were already impressed by the lineup of the menu. I saw a sign during the day while walking and finally decided to visit a popular bar called "Twin". The interior had counter seats and a raised seating area. When I visited, there was a solo customer at the counter and a group of three men, who seemed to be regulars. I was seated in between. I ordered the following while enjoying a rock shochu. - Complimentary dish: Nikujaga. It was neatly cooked and probably around 300 yen. - Rie's Hamburger with Fried Egg (650 yen): Served on a hot iron plate, the thick hamburger made with good textured ground meat was topped with a sweet demiglace sauce. Biting into the meaty patty was pure bliss. The buttery mashed potatoes also added a lot to the dish. Highly recommended. - Aosa (seaweed) Cold Tofu (400 yen): It had a nice ocean scent and the tofu was quite large. - Homemade Beef Jerky (400 yen): It was a soft type instead of the usual dried jerky. It had a good salty taste, making it a great snack. - Crispy Fried Corn (400 yen): Fish paste covered the corn, providing a nice crunch and a hint of sweetness from the corn kernels. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and clean, more like a stylish izakaya than a typical bar. You might not find yourself chatting with strangers at the counter here. The prices for the dishes were reasonable. The name "Twin" may refer to the two female proprietresses of the restaurant. The service was simple and polite. The impression of the carefully prepared dishes was evident as they were seen preparing during idle times. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this place. There are two beautiful ladies who seem to be classmates, not twins. The food is delicious.
