Matsusaka beef, one of Japan's top three wagyu beef varieties! Today for lunch, I came to enjoy a teppanyaki steak made with Matsusaka beef at a great price. Lunchtime is much more affordable than dinner. Matsusaka beef is indeed very tender and flavorful. The teppanyaki is cooked right in front of you by the chef, creating a delicious experience with sounds and aromas. Today's lunch was a little luxury treat.

This is a steakhouse where silent craftsmen cook without speaking. The lighting and interior are dim, making it even quieter without conversation. Their specialty is Kobe beef A5. They offer a course with foie gras for 40,000 yen! The salad is cold, generous in portion, and delicious. The spinach is stir-fried on an iron plate and tastes great when mixed with the sauce. However, the crispy shrimp tail was enjoyable, but the flounder and eringi mushrooms were a bit questionable. The highlight of the meal was after the seafood dishes. The 200g Kobe beef sirloin was indeed delicious! The fat is light and crispy, making it easy to eat. The garlic soy sauce was tasty, and I preferred it over the tomato-based sauce. The restaurant has its main branch on the second floor, offering teppanyaki and shabu-shabu. This restaurant opened two years ago. I chose the garlic rice with extra garlic, and it was delicious!

The steak cooked by the chef right in front of you is incredibly juicy and incomparable to others! The vegetables are also sweet, and you'll be amazed by their flavor. I was impressed by the delicious dishes! It's located near Shinjuku Station in Nishi-Shin Building. Take the elevator on the first floor up to the 4th floor.

I received some financial support and wanted to treat myself to a nice meal to destress. I found this place on Twitter and decided to go alone since I felt hesitant to invite someone else during the pandemic. They were only open for reservations, so I booked a solo lunch. I was a bit nervous at first, being the only customer in the restaurant in Shinjuku, but the friendly chef and staff made me feel at ease. I tried their lunch course for around 5000 yen and it was amazing - the meat, vegetables, and garlic rice were all delicious. I had a truly happy lunchtime experience thanks to the skilled chef. I asked if I could take photos for promotion after the meal, and they kindly allowed it. The cozy and stylish interior is perfect for special occasions, and they even offer surprise cakes. They have a nice smoking area too, which would be great for entertaining clients. I'm still cautious about inviting others due to COVID, but I already made another reservation because I had a good experience. I look forward to trying their a la carte menu next time!

Open for just over a year. I didn't know there was a place like this in Shinjuku. A quiet and relaxing teppanyaki restaurant. The quality of the food was very good. I had the set with live abalone, foie gras steak, and sirloin. I also added shrimp. Starting with the salad, the live abalone, shrimp, foie gras, seasonal vegetables, everything seemed authentic. There was no fake taste or anything like that. Everything was delicious and I was very satisfied. It's not cheap, but if it was, it wouldn't be good, haha. The only disappointing thing was the position of the teppan. It was a Sunday night with only two groups in the restaurant, and we had made a reservation, but the couple who came in without one was seated before us, and the staff started cooking their food in front of us. I guess there was a specific spot for the teppan to be lit. But it was the staff who led us to our seats. Watching the teppanyaki from a distance, I felt a bit awkward. Sorry. The food was really delicious though.

I wanted to eat teppanyaki steak in Shinjuku for the first time. Despite the appearance of the building, the interior of the restaurant had a modern atmosphere. I ordered the course with Matsusaka beef sirloin and abalone, as well as the course with Matsusaka beef sirloin, shrimp, and white flatfish. The abalone was taken out of the tank and grilled, which was fresh and delicious! The shrimp and flatfish were also very tasty. The variety of grilled vegetables was quite generous. However, the speed of serving the dishes was fast, so I couldn't relax and enjoy the meal. Also, there were very few wine options for enjoying all the meat and seafood. The service was polite, but the drink service was slow even though the restaurant was not busy. Overall, I think the cost-performance ratio is very low.

This is my first time visiting. Today, I was invited by the president of Pandora after eating downstairs... but I had already eaten well, so I just had wine (^^;) I will visit again another time~

I stopped by for lunch at this restaurant and ordered the $27 sirloin lunch cooked rare. However, the plate was cold and the meat quickly cooled down, losing its flavor and becoming tough. Later, a couple arrived and for some reason, they were cooking the vegetables in front of my seat, even though I was not there. I was exposed to the unpleasant smell of the smoke from the oil used to cook them, even though I wasn't going to eat them. Perhaps this is the style of cooking at a teppanyaki restaurant, but at least in Shinjuku East Exit, they don't use the grill in front of other customers. The meat was mediocre, and all these incidents made me very uncomfortable. I want to believe it was just bad luck.

The Kobe beef was delicious. Depending on the course, the portion size may be a little small, but it is a very traditional teppanyaki with reasonable prices. I would like to go again.

On May 1st, we sent our children off to school and kindergarten and went to Shinjuku for lunch as a couple. It had been a while since we had some alone time together, especially since I had been working away from home. My wife wanted to eat meat, so we found a restaurant on Tabelog and decided to go there. Despite it being lunchtime, there was no line at this price range restaurant, which made us worried if they were open. We ordered a course of beer, wagyu sirloin, and fillet. The beer was surprisingly delicious, enhancing the overall experience. The meat was cooked medium rare right in front of us. Just adding wasabi made it melt in our mouths, with a clean aftertaste. Ah, eating meat at a place like this is really delicious. In cheaper restaurants, the meat doesn't melt in your mouth like this, and even if it tastes good, the aftertaste can be bitter, making you want to come back here again, even though it's not easy to do so.

This year is coming to an end, so I decided to treat myself to a wagyu steak at Steak Pandora in Shinjuku. This is the second branch of the well-known and established restaurant, located on the 4th floor of the same building as the original branch. The sign outside only indicates the first branch, so it can be easy to miss if you don't know. I ordered the approximately 8,000 yen Yamagata beef steak course, where you can choose between filet and sirloin. I opted for the sirloin. The course included salad and an aperitif, shrimp and scallops, grilled vegetables and mushrooms, steak with garlic rice, and dessert with ice cream and coffee. Everything was delicious, but the highlight was definitely the Yamagata beef steak. The surface was crispy while the inside was tender, with a texture that didn't require much chewing, unlike any other steak I've had.

They cook it on the hot plate right in front of you. The meat is delicious and tender. The rice is also tasty.

I went for lunch. As soon as I entered, I was angrily asked to choose between hamburger or steak without any explanation. The hamburger I chose came with no side dishes or anything. There was no explanation given either. I did not have a good experience with the service at this restaurant.
