I love black tea, and it has become a habit for me to have black tea every morning when I wake up. I especially love Lupicia♡ I usually buy their "lucky bags" to stock up on tea leaves at a good price, but this year I was too busy and missed out on buying one. I stopped by Lupicia after a photo shoot at Lucua to browse for tea. I love milk tea, so I asked the staff for my favorite "Chai" and bought the "Christmas Wreath" Chai with apple and cinnamon. I also got information that the lucky bags will be available in June this time! They said that from April, I can see the pamphlet in-store and make a reservation, so this time I won't forget to buy the lucky bag!!

I visited in November 2018. It's located on the 8th floor of LUCUA Osaka. I decided to buy the Christmas tea set this year as well, as I did last year. It contains 6 types of Christmas tea and costs 800 yen including tax. Flavors include Jingle Bell, Carol, White Christmas, Jasmine Mandarin, and more. The types and flavors of tea have changed from last year. I tried the Carol tea at home right away. It had a rich and delicious strawberry flavor. However, last year it came in a cloth bag, but this year it was in a paper bag, which was disappointing. Also, this year some teas contain synthetic coloring, which was a downside. Natural colors would be better. I recommend the Christmas tea.

I purchased the 2013 Lupicia Fukubukuro Bamboo (5000 yen) at this store! It contained 13 bags of non-flavored tea leaves♪ It's a late review, but each tea had its own unique taste, some were good with milk tea, which was interesting. However, I found it difficult to use them all up, and it was frustrating not being able to buy the tea leaves I wanted. I bought it during the New Year's sale at LUCUA, so I was happy to get a gift certificate by combining the receipt from here with another store's receipt. In the future, I think I'll stick to individual purchases instead of lucky bags.

I mentioned that I like citrus flavors, enjoy milk tea, and prefer affordable options, and the staff recommended the "Breakfast Earl Grey" tea. When I tried it at home, it was perfect for making milk tea with a strong tea flavor. The advice from the staff was spot on! The store is quiet and has a calm atmosphere, allowing customers to take their time in choosing their favorite tea. Lupicia is known for its red teas, but they also offer a variety of green teas and Chinese teas, so be sure to find your favorite tea here.

When I go shopping at Lucua, I often stop by here and there. They sell some original teas that are exclusive to Lucua, and as someone who is weak to limited edition items, I couldn't resist. I recently discovered a Lucua exclusive black tea called "Keel Royale" and ended up buying it for 850 yen. It had a pleasant fruit aroma rather than an alcohol scent, and I enjoyed it straight without adding sugar. When choosing, the staff at the store explains the products in detail, giving a sense of learning. However, as someone who has a passion for tea and tries various teas from different stores, I would like to provide a slightly critical comment. It seems like they put effort into the packaging design and the atmosphere of the store, but some products may be overshadowed by their names. I wonder if they are focusing too much on adding fragrance to the tea and neglecting the importance of the tea leaves themselves.

It's expensive but they also have rare teas available. They offer tea tasting as well. It's a stylish shop. The paper bags are cute.
