It's been a while since I went to Saizeriya. I went alone and arrived at 12:30. I was in the mood for something meaty, so I struggled to decide and ended up ordering the small hamburger lunch set and 2 lamb skewers. The white wine was still cheap but a bit sour. The lamb skewers had a strong smell and became tough as time passed. I might have had too high expectations. The hamburger, on the other hand, was surprisingly tasty even though it didn't have a homemade feel to it. I was surprised by how flimsy the containers were. I didn't bother with the soup that came with the lunch set because it was too much trouble to get, so I ordered a red wine, even though it was cold. In the end, it cost me ¥1050 to easily have a meal alone. Overall, it was not bad at all.

I came to try the summer limited menu of cold pasta at Saizeriya. The restaurant is located at the entrance of Shinsaibashi GATE store, south of Shinsaibashi-suji. There are many tourists posing in front of the Glico sign at Ebisu Bridge. I went down to the 6th floor and entered Saizeriya. The customer base is predominantly female, with many solo female diners. I ordered the salad-style cold pasta. It arrived with capellini, spicy shredded chicken, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and plenty of dressing. It felt more like eating a chicken salad than capellini. The amount of toppings was generous and the dish was cold and refreshing. I thought about adding red pepper flakes, but the flavor was already well-balanced, so I enjoyed it as it was.

Today, I visited "Saizeriya Shinsaibashi GATE Store". I didn't realize that there was a Saizeriya on the 6th floor of "Shinsaibashi GATE" near the Ebisu Bridge. I decided to go for the 500 yen lunch set, Beef Keema Curry, to balance out after having a more expensive lunch yesterday. I initially thought about getting a gratin, but then I saw they had Keema Curry. The set came with a mini salad and self-service soup, but it seems they no longer include potato salad. The Keema Curry was easy to eat with a smooth texture. You can pay extra to increase the amount of rice, but the standard portion was enough for me. As always, I added olive oil and black pepper to the soup to suit my taste. I really enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal. I will strive to improve on my way there, and quietly finish without regrets.

A suspension bridge connecting Namba and Shinsaibashi. There is a Saizeriya above the Matsumoto Kiyoshi and wego stores at Ebisu Bridge. I didn't know that. I visited around noon. There were a lot of young people as usual. They had a 500 yen lunch deal until 5 pm. It's cheap! I ordered the hamburger lunch. The soup was free refill. The taste was okay, stable and good. It's nice that you can also order just the drink bar separately. Thank you for the meal.

I came to Minami for some errands and decided to stop by to kill some time. Feeling thirsty, I ordered a glass of white wine. It's been a while since I last visited Saizeriya, and I was surprised to see that the glass of wine was only 100 yen, and it was actually quite good. I decided to order a salad as a light snack, choosing the Fresh Cheese and Tomato Salad for 299 yen, which is basically a Caprese salad. The cheese had no distinct flavor, and the olive oil was a bit overwhelming, making it a bit oily. However, considering the price, I can't complain. I thought it might be crowded on a Friday evening, but surprisingly, I was able to walk in without waiting. The customers were mostly young, with quite a few Chinese visitors. The background music was a mix of Chinese folk songs and Indian melodies, creating a unique atmosphere. The location offers a view of Dotonbori Bridge from the window. Overall, it's a great place to kill time at a low cost.

A friend's child had a birthday, so we all decided to go to Saizeriya. With 12 people from 3 families, we weren't sure if we could all fit in, so we decided to try making a reservation. It turned out that we could reserve a table, so we gave them the time and number of people and headed to Saizeriya. The kids were all about the steak, while the adults enjoyed beer, creating a casual izakaya-style atmosphere. Saizeriya's menu is perfect for drinking, and it's cheap too. The wine is especially affordable, so we always order a magnum bottle. The best part is that you can take the bottle home even if you don't finish it. So whenever we go with a group, we always order a magnum. One common experience at chain restaurants is when you ask for extra plates, and the staff responds with a sharp "How many do you need?" It's like they're ready to bring you as many as you ask for. It might be part of their manual, but it often becomes a funny topic of conversation. We all had a great time at Saizeriya, with the kids and adults satisfied with the food and drinks. It was a fun and enjoyable experience. Thank you for the meal!

In February, I came to Shinsaibashi in the evening and decided to take a break. I found a Saizeriya and stopped by. I had the Milan-style Doria for 299 yen, Hamburger Steak for 399 yen, a set of 2 Petit Foccacia for 79 yen, and a set drink for 189 yen. The Doria was piping hot and delicious. I kept refilling my drink at the drink bar. Saizeriya is a casual and affordable option. I've been hooked on it lately. Just dropping by is nice. Ameba Minna no Henshuukyoku official writer Level 2. During the New Year's season, the streets of Minami were crowded with shoppers, so we decided to take a break at a Sizzler near the Namba bridge. I suggested to my Thai friend that we should drink at a family restaurant to explain the recent drinking habits of Japanese salarymen. We ordered a Magnum wine red for 1,080 yen and some salami as a snack, and as we chatted, we ended up ordering a Magnum white as well. It only cost us 2,000 yen for three people, which was a great deal! Family restaurants these days have improved their food quality, making them a perfect place for adults to drink casually at a reasonable price. By the time we met up with the shopping group, we were already feeling a bit tipsy (laughs).

Last year, I experienced my first visit to Cocoichi. This year, it's my first time at Saizeriya. If possible, I would like to try my first visit to Bamiyan before the end of the year. Saizeriya, as expected, had a lot of young people, but there was also a group of kids around elementary school age (laughs). They were quite mischievous. For my first visit to Saizeriya, I opened the menu and spent some time flipping through the pages back and forth. In the end, I chose the "Mediterranean-style Pilaf" with a vegetable set (salad and soup). But what does "Mediterranean-style" mean? It was somewhat like paella, so it took a while to arrive. In the meantime, I enjoyed the salad and soup (I chose minestrone). The salad had dressing on it, but I sprinkled plenty of powdered cheese on top and ate it. It was a blissful moment. The minestrone was a tomato-based soup with a strong flavor from whole tomato cans. I added powdered cheese to this too, continuing the blissful moment. While I was enjoying these, the Mediterranean-style Pilaf arrived. It seemed to have more seafood than I expected from the picture. The rice was not as high as in the photo, and the portion was reasonable for the price. The yellow color seemed to be turmeric rice. It appeared to be drizzled with quite a bit of virgin olive oil, which might be a bit strong for those who are not fond of it. Plus, with black olives on top, it had quite a punch. However, it was a bit oily. The squid and shellfish on top of the rice tasted better than I expected. If only it had a bit more of a sea breeze... but that would be a luxury. I sprinkled powdered cheese on this dish as well. They seemed to have a good selection of affordable bottled wines, so wine lovers might enjoy having a drink here too. I realized that this restaurant caters to a wider range of customers than I thought.

Cheap! Recommended when you want to eat pasta inexpensively! Not as authentic as homemade pasta, but tastier and cheaper than buying ingredients and making it at home! Plus, during lunchtime, you get salad and soup included, which feels like a great deal. Especially recommended for going alone. Next time, I'll order the popular Milanese foodria I saw somewhere. Lunch once a week. Especially before payday, I want to come back again! It's not too crowded even during lunchtime, so it's good.

When the main focus is on chatting rather than food or drinks, head to the affordable Saizeriya. The hot Milan-style doria (299 yen) with turmeric rice and demi-glace sauce is exquisite, and I wish the price would stay the same forever (lol). The tarako sauce shishirī-style pasta (399 yen) is smooth without the usual gritty texture of typical tarako pasta. The dessert, trifle ice cream (369 yen), was not as "delicious and worth it" as expected, so I'll stick to my usual milk gelato next time.
