After shopping with my mother, we decided to have Japanese food and remembered about Yumean. It used to be Bamiyan in the past. We went there during lunchtime and were seated immediately. They handed us a wet towel and mentioned that water and tea were self-service. I wished they had brought us tea if they were bringing the towel. I gave the menu to my mother and ordered tea using the tablet, which I find difficult, but my mother would never be able to do it. It's not suitable for elderly people in this era. A group of four middle-aged ladies were seated in the back and they also struggled with ordering using the tablet, eventually calling a staff member to take their order. The staff, who were all elderly, provided very kind and polite service. Their hospitality was different from that of younger staff. I ordered the Yumean set meal, which included a seafood bowl with squid, tuna, okra, natto, salmon roe, shiso, topped with wasabi soy sauce and a hot spring egg, along with miso soup and vegetable tempura. My mother ordered the Negitoro bowl with a small amount of rice and an additional hot spring egg. It was convenient to be able to choose a small amount of rice using the tablet, which was a nice service for my mother who has a small appetite. The rice was also soft, and the menu was extensive, making it a family restaurant suitable for elderly people. We showed the T-point app and received a 5% discount coupon for customers over 60 years old. Of course, it was because my mother was there. My mother was happy to be able to enjoy a leisurely meal, and she said she would like to come back again.

It's been a while since I had lunch with my parents, but when dining with elderly people, there are many things to be careful about. The spacious entrance and parking lot width are essential, especially for getting in and out of the car. In that sense, "Yumean" is a valuable place. The seats are spacious, and we enjoyed our meal leisurely and deliciously. The prices were also very reasonable.

When you're unsure of what you want to eat, it's convenient to go to a family restaurant! I ordered the following items at the restaurant in front of me: walnut soba and a choice of mini rice bowl. There were several free options for the mini rice bowl, as well as two additional options for an extra charge (I chose one with an extra charge). It was my first time trying walnut soba, and it had a different aroma from sesame sauce, with crushed walnuts adding a nice touch (I didn't know that!). I really liked it. The mini rice bowl had a good amount of food for its size, so it was quite satisfying to eat. The customers in the restaurant seemed to be mostly local elderly couples and families, with very few young people, so it was quiet and relaxed, not bustling like a typical family restaurant.

It's great that you can serve yourself water and tea for free. You can also make cold tea by filling a glass with ice. I had trouble deciding on a seasonal menu, but I tried the Fukagawa Seiro Zen and changed the miso soup to cold soba. It was quite successful. It's really convenient to have a family restaurant open late at night.

I wasn't very hungry, but I felt like I should eat something light for dinner so I decided to visit a restaurant from the Skylark Group after a long time. The floor of their restaurants always feels a bit sticky and dirty to me, but I was happy that the ordering system had changed to tablets due to the pandemic. I ordered the "Nebaro Soba" (without wasabi). In the past, I used to avoid dishes like this because I couldn't eat natto, but now you can customize your order on the tablet, so I chose to remove the wasabi. The dish consisted of cold soba with toppings like seaweed, pickled radish, natto, green onions, grated yam, okra, and a soft-boiled egg. Despite not being very hungry, once I started eating, I couldn't stop. The pickled radish added a nice texture to the dish. This "Nebaro" series seems to be popular, especially among women. It was delicious!

I chose the Small Mountain Vegetable Udon with Okonomi Don Set. When the food was brought to me, the aroma of the broth was nice. However, when I tried it, I didn't feel particularly satisfied. Well, at least I was able to relax and enjoy my meal. "Thank you for the meal."

On Sunday night when everywhere else was crowded, I went to this place because it was still calm. I ordered a dish that was a soba version of uma-don, and it was refreshing and delicious. The inari sushi was also different from the usual ones as it had fillings inside, making it visually appealing. The taste was average.

After a long time, I had lunch at a family restaurant♪ I went to "Yumean," a Japanese restaurant affiliated with the Skylark group, located along the Izumikita 2nd road. I've been here before, but what I like about this place is that the middle-aged lady waitress's customer service is not your typical, she has a friendly and familiar vibe like someone's mom. They have a great deal on weekly and daily lunch specials, such as: - Weekly grilled fish lunch for 999 yen - Daily regular lunch for 599 yen - Daily noodle lunch for 699 yen (prices exclude tax) This time, I had the daily regular lunch. It was "Fried young chicken teriyaki lunch." During lunchtime, you can get a free large serving of rice, and you can change the miso soup to a small udon for an additional 50 yen. The small portion of fried chicken with sweet sauce and tartar sauce on top, goes really well with the rice! It also came with croquette and spinach ohitashi. It was delicious and satisfying! I visited the Japanese-style family restaurant "Yumean" of the Skylark Group for the first time ^ ^ I went for lunch on a Saturday, and I saw a sign inside the restaurant that said "All-you-can-eat pork shabu-shabu (100 minutes, 1099 yen excluding tax)"! Although I had planned to order a set meal, my stomach is more about quantity than quality, so I ended up ordering the shabu-shabu buffet without thinking. It seems that this amazing deal is limited to weekdays and Saturday lunches, and also limited to certain stores. The hot pot soup options are the classic kombu dashi and one of the following (salt chan-chan, kimchi, sukiyaki-style). Shortly after, a table with a portable stove and a pot was brought to us. The dipping sauces for shabu-shabu were served in bottles on the table, which was a wild style (lol). First, we were served the basic set which included "pork (shoulder loin, belly), chicken, side set (gyoza, sausage), and a mix of vegetables." Vegetables cannot be ordered separately, and although the quality matched the price, if you're looking to get your money's worth and enjoy shabu-shabu, the cost performance is not bad at all (^-^) We ate to our heart's content!!
