Located right by Osaka Metro's Nishi-Ohashi Station, this convenience store is a rare find in Kansai. The best part about it is the desserts made in-store using soft serve ice cream, which you won't find at other convenience stores. I ordered a shaved ice with white peach for 318 yen, an iced coffee for 89 yen (50 yen discount), and an egg omelette and spicy cod roe rice ball for 100 yen each, totaling 547 yen including tax. The shaved ice with white peach was made with plenty of frozen white peach slices topped with delicious soft serve ice cream, all made with real peaches. It's amazing for the price. All rice balls are only 100 yen each. The egg omelette and spicy cod roe were new items and tasted great. The iced coffee blend had a nice bitterness to it.

As a palate cleanser, I had a white peach parfait~♪ After eating the King (burger), my mouth was too salty and I felt like having soft serve ice cream to refresh my mouth. I visited the store looking for a white peach parfait, but they also had premium Japanese chestnut Mont Blanc soft serve and apple mango parfait starting from August 23rd. I was torn between which one to choose, but as a peach lover, I decided to have the white peach parfait starting from September 6th. It had big chunks of white peach and rich vanilla soft serve, which was refreshing and helped alleviate the salty taste in my mouth. It was delicious~ Thank you for the meal.

Mini Stop has fewer stores compared to other convenience stores, and at least in my area, there is none. However, their soft serve ice cream is quite impressive and worth making a special trip for. Currently, they are offering Kyoho grape soft serve, and I opted for a half-half with vanilla. I enjoyed it in the small dining area inside the store. The Kyoho grape soft serve had a sherbet-like texture and a strong grape flavor. I regretted not getting the full Kyoho grape soft serve instead of the half-half. This summer's special is the "Kyoho Grape Soft Serve" made with domestic Kyoho grape juice and puree. It is available at Mini Stop stores nationwide starting from May 26th.

I came across a Mini Stop that I don't see around Namba, so I went in to find something to satisfy my hunger. Since there weren't any appealing bread options, I moved to the area near the cash register. Oh! They have something different here that other convenience stores don't have! So, I bought something called "Kariman," which is like a fried bread. Among the two options available, I purchased the crab cream flavor. It looks just like a curry bun or a pierogi. However, as the name suggests, the outside is really crispy and crunchy, which is delicious. It's not too greasy, which is nice. It exceeded my expectations. The cream inside is, well, as expected. It's a bit firm compared to a crab cream croquette. The combination of the crispy dough and the creamy filling is good, and I thought it was well made. It was enough to satisfy my hunger.

(2009.11) I went shopping at the new Daimaru Shinsaibashi North Building in Shinsaibashi... I ended up missing lunch in the rush and didn't know what to do. As I was pulling my car out of the parking lot, I realized I would be home in no time, so I decided to stop for some soft serve ice cream to quench my thirst. I found something interesting - the Green Hot Chili and Cheese Pizza Man. I decided to try them out and purchased them together. The Green Hot Chili had a strong spicy flavor that hits you slowly. It is grilled at 250 degrees in a special oven, giving it a unique taste. The green sauce is made with jalapeno and habanero mixed with onions, creating a simple yet stimulating flavor. Underneath the sausage, there is a chili bean sauce with jalapeno, red pepper, and chili peppers, giving it a double punch of spiciness. It was a "spicy and delicious" experience. The Cheese Pizza Man had a rich and cheesy filling with a base of tomato sauce and added demi-glace sauce for extra flavor. It was a satisfying snack. I also enjoyed some soft serve ice cream, which helped soothe the intense spiciness. It was a heavy but comforting treat. Overall, the meal left me full and content. (2009.08) I love the soft serve ice cream at this shop. I've tried soft serve ice cream at many places, but for some reason, this shop always stands out. The size is bigger than other Mini Stops, and it's always fresh and delicious. The price is affordable, and I always leave with a smile on my face. The cold and creamy treat is a great way to end a meal and recharge for the next one. I find myself coming back to this shop over and over again, drawn to its light and milky taste. It's my go-to spot for a quick and satisfying dessert.

Red melon parfait! The melon is incredibly sweet and delicious! And the soft serve ice cream? The ice cream part has a strong milk flavor with a hint of butter in the aftertaste. And more melon! It was so delicious! I wish there was a Mini Stop nearby.
