Today, my family visited the newly opened Yakiniku Shichirin restaurant in Suita Yamada, which is one of the 12 locations in the Mach Speed Family Yakiniku chain in the northern part of Osaka. It's always packed on weekends, but we were able to get in without a reservation by having an early dinner on a weekday. The restaurant has table seating as well as semi-private tatami rooms, and we chose a sunken kotatsu seating area. It's family-friendly, so it's okay to be a bit noisy. We ordered two servings each of the Harami (860 yen), Kalbi (830 yen), and Tecchan (580 yen). The lean meat is good, but personally, I recommend the horumon (offal) here! It's cheap and the portions are generous. It's really delicious for the price. We also ordered grilled vegetables for 420 yen to balance out the meal. I opted for extra servings of white rice since I wasn't drinking alcohol that day. The beef belly for 680 yen is fatty but satisfying. It's a great value for the price.

After waiting for about 30 minutes, I entered the restaurant. The interior was surprisingly spacious, with a wide entrance to the kitchen that allowed the staff to move around easily. The portion size was generous, with a wide variety of sashimi options that left me feeling very satisfied. It was my first time trying beef spleen, and raw meat was truly delicious.

I visited as a second stop on Friday night after 8 pm and was seated right away as it was not crowded. The stone bibimbap had crispy and fragrant burnt rice from the start, with a mild spiciness that was easy to finish in one serving. I received a nostalgic chewing gum on my way out. The young and efficient staff members were friendly, and the spacious, open interior of the restaurant was easy to use.

It was delicious and very good♪ The naengmyeon (cold noodles) is also delicious, so please try it.
