Temporary closures are common, so it has become the norm to check Twitter in advance before going. On this day, I had a 4-dish assortment which included: Ayu green curry (highly recommended), Hamo and plum, Pork belly, pork cartilage, and mango, Mexican mutton keema. The Ayu confit was a whole fish, crispy all the way to the head, so I ate the whole thing! The lentil and radish soup was the same for all dishes. When asked which was the best dish of the day... hmm. The Hamo and plum was delicious, and the Ayu was also tasty, so I recommend them all! Eating 4 dishes costs 1600 yen (I added 100 yen for 2 extra dishes, so it was 1800 yen this day), which is a bit pricey for lunch.

Visited for lunch. Ordered a mini plate with 4 daily specials, with extra rice. The plate included spicy masala mackerel, fruit vindaloo, teriyaki mayo chicken, and miso pork keema, along with daikon soup. It was a lively plate with a variety of flavors. The fruit vindaloo was a new taste for me, with banana and pear adding a tangy twist, but it was delicious. Each dish was tasty on its own, but when mixed together, including yogurt, it was also enjoyable. I still need to explore when to mix and what to mix, as it could affect the overall experience. The way I eat may affect the rating, but I believe there is room for improvement based on my exploration. I will definitely visit again.

I visited the restaurant for the first time at 1:30 pm on a regular day. On that day, I encountered a special plate that only appears a few times a year - the Autumn-Fruit Plate! It was filled with various fruits like white peaches, figs, pears, grapes, etc., mixed into different curries, providing a unique texture and taste experience. The impact of the plate was surprising! Today's curry was made with fruits sourced from specific regions and cost 1900 yen, a bit pricey. I initially thought the curry would be sweet due to the fruits, but it turned out to be spicy and delicious as I continued eating. The manager casually chatted with us before, during, and after our meal, making the experience even better. Normally, the restaurant serves four types of curry that change weekly, with seasonal ingredients, so I look forward to my next visit.

About a 5-minute walk from Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station, there is a restaurant called Nallamanam located on the first floor of a building across from Quon Heel. I had been putting off visiting restaurants in the Sakaisuji Line area, but finally made it. They offer four types of curry: Kamatoro, Eggplant and Squid Masala, Chicken and Winter Melon, and Thick Ma Po Tofu. I ordered all of them before the staff could explain, asking for a variety. When asked if there was anything I didn't like, I replied that I don't dislike anything in curry. All the curries were delicious, although the portion size was a bit small. The curries were not overly spicy, with a gentle touch of vegetables, making them appealing to women. Despite being a busy restaurant, the staff were polite and provided explanations, and the service was quick. Good service is also part of the dining experience.

I went on a business trip to Osaka and decided to visit a restaurant I had been curious about. They were offering a special fruit plate for just two days and I was really excited to try it. According to the staff, it was like this: each dish had a deep spice flavor, and the more you mixed them, the more new flavors you discovered. I was happily eating, feeling like "this is it, this is the one". The dishes included: - Tomato and plum stew with cloves - Dahl stew - Mizuna and daikon soup with dashi - Pork keema with banana fritter tartare - Mango with green paste - Blueberry and beef - Peach and coconut fruit salad. It was a unique experience to eat fruit with curry, but it was delicious.

It was a weekday off, so I decided to go to a place that is only open on weekdays. The parking lot around here was crowded and expensive! I found a relatively cheaper parking lot where it costs 200 yen for 20 minutes. The building was a bit hard to find, but the restaurant was located inside. It was around 1 pm and they were serving the last dish, so making a reservation might be a good idea. They have a different curry flavor every week, and today's was fruity - with flavors like peach, mango, cherry, and banana. The taste was incredibly delicious, with the sweetness of the fruits standing out and followed by a mild spiciness. The spiciness was just right and didn't linger. Even the daikon radish soup in the middle was delicious. I finished the meal in no time and left. The staff were young, energetic, and friendly. It was a great experience! I would definitely go back if I have the chance!

First visit. We waited for about 30 minutes in a line of three people, which was unexpected. We ordered a two-item combo with crab curry for an extra 100 yen, totaling 1300 yen. Maybe we would have been more satisfied with the four-item combo for 1600 yen! The taste was delicious, but waiting in line for that long was a bit much.

Hello! Today I went to Nallamanam, an Asian and ethnic spice restaurant in Sakaisuji Hommachi, and had the "Mini 4 Types" set meal. The set included Pork and Plum (+50 yen), Summer Vegetable Keema, Clam with Tomato and Shiso, and Shrimp with Citrus Coconut. The dishes were served around a bowl of Basmati rice, each with its own unique flavor profile. I started with the spicy Shrimp and Coconut, then blended it with the sides to balance the heat. Next, I tried the fruity Summer Vegetable Keema and the flavorful Clam with Tomato and Shiso. Lastly, I enjoyed mixing the Sri Lankan curry blend with the remaining dishes. I finished the meal feeling quite satisfied! Thank you, Nallamanam, for the delicious experience! Today's step count: 17,827 steps. Calories burned: 639 kcal.

[Before entering] I couldn't find the entrance and wandered around the store for a while. The shop is located at the back of the first floor of the building. Don't be afraid to enter the building. [Service] Two friendly guys helped me. They explained the menu and dishes in detail. [Food] I've been to various curry restaurants, but I felt this one was of a pretty high level! [Price] 1300 yen for a two-curry plate, and an additional 50 yen for extra oil during the meal. *I didn't know about the extra 50 yen! But it was delicious so it's okay!! [Note] Cash only.

A shop quietly standing at the back of a building with only a counter. I ordered today's curry set with 4 varieties. The dishes were more like spiced food rather than traditional curry, with some not having the typical curry powder aroma. The bamboo shoot and sansho pepper curry, as well as the meat curry, had a slightly Chinese flavor. Along with the curry, they also served mashed beans, yogurt, watercress salad, and daikon soup. The manager advised us to mix and try different combinations, which was a bit confusing at first, but then he explained it as a way to enjoy changing flavors. Mixing yogurt into slightly spicy curry or beans into it, we enjoyed various tastes. The daikon soup was particularly delicious, with a rich and comforting taste. While the portions seemed small, after finishing the meal, we felt quite full and warm. Even though the spiciness wasn't overpowering, halfway through the meal, our bodies were already feeling the heat. My companion was already sweating profusely. Despite the seemingly small portions, we left the restaurant feeling satisfied and refreshed. Thank you for the meal.

A place where dreams come true☆ The stimulating combination of eel and black bean spice, the richness of eel, incredibly three-dimensional and vividly colorful, with a harmonious balance reminiscent of New Year's black bean stew. The deep sweetness of the eel's fattiness, its aroma, and tenderness. The sweet and savory richness of the eel, the tender and flavorful beef tendon with new potatoes, a fusion of Japanese and Western cuisine with demi-glace sauce. The melt-in-your-mouth texture of the beef tendon and the slippery smoothness of the new potatoes☆ Deep-fried tofu in mapo tofu sauce, where the crispy tofu coating absorbs the richness of the mapo sauce and the genius spiciness lingers infinitely, making you want to eat more and more. Japanese masala☆ Mackerel miso masala, a delicious dish beyond imagination, making you want to have unlimited servings of rice☆ Hokkaido horsehair crab, a warm greeting when opened, revealing its orange eggs, accompanied by a spicy Thai curry. The richness of the crab meat and eggs expands with the spiciness, creating a mysterious and delicious taste. Regret for not being able to have the next day's Red curry due to its spiciness (the spiciest in this round, but strangely, I have a tolerance for it, bringing happiness). Sri Lankan-style pork, where simplicity enhances the taste, reminiscent of the skill of the grandfather in "◯◯◯ Fairy Tale" and the scene of rice balls. Delicious and tender☆ Simmered beans☆! Daikon soup, astonishingly delicious among all the dishes, providing a direct hit of the taste, sensibility, and technique of the West. Everything is delicious, everything is delicious, everything is delicious. Most likely, I would want to eat here every day※ (the certainty that if all the dishes were lined up in front of me again, I would definitely enjoy them). Spicy fukujin pickles, citrus-dressed mizuna with yogurt, komatsuna with ginger pickles. It was truly a moment of happiness. I will definitely come back. Naramanamu is one of the places of happiness in life.

There is a highly recommended restaurant located between Kitahama and Sakaisuji-Honmachi in Osaka called "Nallamanam" that serves deliciously spicy curry dishes. The curry, created by two young brothers, is truly spicy and delicious, making it a must-try dish. The restaurant is ranked 2nd in the top 100 ethnic restaurants on Tabelog (number 1 in Osaka prefecture), and it was crowded with customers when I visited on a Monday afternoon. The seating is limited, with 9 counter seats and additional seating in the back. The restaurant is located at the back of a building, so it can be a bit tricky to find. The menu is explained in detail by one of the brothers, and I ordered the "2 kinds plate" curry dish. The curry changes weekly, but the routine and pattern are consistent. The "Spicy Kibinago Curry" had a unique flavor with a hint of fish stock, while the "Maldives Fish Pork" was slightly spicier and packed with flavor. The Thai rice paired well with the dishes, and the side dish of pumpkin stew was deliciously tender. The white radish soup was rich and flavorful, and the plain yogurt dessert was a refreshing way to end the meal. Overall, the experience at Nallamanam was delightful, and I highly recommend trying their flavorful and spicy curries.

Today I felt like exploring a new curry restaurant. I chose Nallamanam from my bookmarks. As soon as I arrived at Shin-Osaka on the Shinkansen, I hopped into a taxi and went straight to the restaurant. Upon arrival, I noticed that most of the customers were women. I felt a bit embarrassed but managed to find a seat among the female patrons. The staff kindly explained the curry options to me. As a beginner, I wanted to try a variety, so I ordered four different curries along with some coriander and whitebait fry. The curries that were brought to me looked very enticing. The one that caught my eye was the green curry with ayu fish. There were also dishes like sweet shrimp bindaloo and clam butter masala, all packed with seafood. You can enjoy them as they are or mix and match for a delightful fusion. I got so absorbed in eating that 1+1 felt like 3 or even 4. This place is like the ideal curry spot for me. I definitely plan on going back.

I visited a curry restaurant called "Nallamanam" in the Kitahama area of Osaka's Chuo Ward. On this day, I ordered a dish with two types of curry: Firefly Squid Masala and Ayu Green Curry, along with Sweet Shrimp Tempura Vindaloo and a selection of two types of tomatoes and shiso leaves. It was a dish that created a huge explosion of flavors in my brain with sweetness, spiciness, sourness, and bitterness. The textures were also varied. It was seriously delicious. Especially the Firefly Squid Masala and Sweet Shrimp Vindaloo were packed with the joy of eating spicy food.

There is an incredibly delicious spice curry in the building! Wednesday 13:45, 5 customers already there. The restaurant has only 8 counter seats and is run by two young men. It's tucked away at the back of the first floor of the building, so you might easily overlook it if you're just walking by. There are many types of curry, so it took a bit of time for them to take our order. On this day, the curry options were... Mini 4 kinds platter for ¥1600: fried tofu with spicy sauce, spicy sweetfish, shrimp and lettuce keema, Sri Lankan chicken. Extra large portion for ¥100 (rice is refillable? maybe because we ordered the large portion?). They took our order and served us in 10 minutes. Wow, the presentation looks amazing, with 4 types of curry and 5 side dishes like yogurt lined up! The rice is basmati rice! They explained everything carefully and we started eating. First, we tried each curry separately... so delicious! Each curry has a good balance of flavor, not too salty but you can taste the broth and spices. It's not overly tailored to Japanese taste, very authentic curry! As we tried different combinations of side dishes and condiments, the umami and flavors expanded. In the end, we mixed all the curries together to create one curry, and it felt like we were eating different curries the whole time! It's amazing how delicious everything is. The fat and salt content are low, so it's quite healthy. If you're looking for heaviness or a strong punch, you might find it lacking, but overall, I think it's of a very high level!

I visited this restaurant for the first time in 7 years, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Mini 4 Curry Plate which included all the curry flavors available that day. Each curry was delicious and full of flavor, especially the Spicy Ayu curry which had a whole fried fish in it. The combination of ingredients in each curry was unique and tasty. Overall, the curries were packed with flavor and I was very satisfied with my meal. This restaurant has definitely evolved and is now one of the best spice curry places I've tried. Highly recommended!

I tried a unique and spicy meal set at a place recommended by a friend, which cost 1600 yen for 4 different dishes. The set included fried tofu with spicy sauce, spicy curry with small river fish and lettuce, keema spice with a mix of small river fish and shrimp, and lentil soup with pickles. The fish curry, a common dish in South Indian cuisine, was made with ayu fish and had a nice balance of spiciness and bitterness from the fish roe. The overall flavor was interesting and didn't get boring. Compared to places like "Kalpasi" in Tokyo, this place is more innovative but can feel a bit scattered. The menu changes weekly and seasonally, so there are always new dishes to try. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area.

I heard about the special menu at GW, which was the shrimp spiced mixed rice, so I decided to try it out. It's not easy for me to visit on weekdays, so I was really lucky. Instead of the usual biryani, they offered a mixed rice using basmati rice, which was a unique idea. The mixed rice included sakura shrimp, herbs, and various other ingredients. The nuts added a nice crunchy texture. You could also add toppings like keema, tartar, or citrus, and even shrimp fry. Mixing it all together was delicious, whether with shrimp curry, bean curry, or adding their original spice oil for an extra kick. You could also cool down with some yogurt. Overall, I enjoyed mixing and trying out different combinations, savoring the amazing flavors and aromas. Ah, it was so delicious!

I went on the day when they had a special menu featuring shrimp mixed rice. I arrived late after making a reservation in the morning, and they were turning away customers without reservations. It seems like making a reservation is a good idea if you want to make sure you can go. The shrimp mixed rice had shrimp tempura on top, and even the curry had shrimp in it - it was all about shrimp. The curry here is really delicious. The shrimp was plump and there were plenty of toppings on the mixed rice, so I didn't get tired of it until the end. The restaurant is small, but the service was good and I had a comfortable time there.

Nice to meet you. Banana Masala Fry. Melty banana with a crispy exterior. Why does this go so well with curry? Aoy Green. The name sounds like it could be a superhero squad. This was my main target. It was delicious. The whole aoy fish is crispy and the green curry has a strong spiciness. Plus, there's dal, yogurt, daikon soup, and 4 side dishes. So tasty. The owner even let me taste pork with banana, saying it goes well together. The fusion of banana, spinach, and pork. Absolutely delicious. The menu changes daily, so this is a restaurant you can't take your eyes off.
