Hisaday's meat in Ohashi - Hisaday's meat shop in Ohashi, Fukuoka. I love this place because they have a variety of meat and side dishes. They used to have a store in a nearby supermarket, but when the supermarket closed, they opened a street shop. They have a wide selection of meats displayed. I tried the chicken sashimi for 298 yen + tax, choosing the breast cut. It was big and juicy, especially delicious with yuzu pepper. I also had the Wagyu beef rice bowl for 580 yen + tax. As expected from a meat shop, the portion of meat was generous and the flavor was amazing. I really love Hisaday's.

The current trend in Fukuoka souvenirs is Hisada-ya's chicken rice seasoning and local chicken charcoal-grilled. Those who understand the deliciousness of this chicken rice with white rice and the perfect match with beer of charcoal-grilled chicken will find it to be the best souvenir.

Just past Tanaka Butcher Shop Ohashi Branch, there may be a fierce rivalry going on, but the surrounding area is quiet as it is located one street in from National Route 385 (Miyake Street). When it comes to bento boxes, the menu is similar to other butcher shops, but the focus here seems to be on quality domestic meat. The Wagyu beef steak bento box is a bit pricey but still affordable. The fried chicken also looks delicious. I purchased the one-coin spicy miso pork belly bento box. While the overall portion size is not very large, the ratio of meat is high. The rice is also quite tasty.

This is my second visit. I am looking for my favorite yakiniku sauce... I am searching for a place to purchase Tomura's yakiniku sauce (large) as Dai Kyoh Value no longer carries it. Last time I visited, the store had just opened so there weren't many bento options available. On Sundays, there is a morning market and the store was quite busy with customers, so I ended up buying a lot unexpectedly. Since it's hot this time of year, the fried food assortment set for 777 yen was a great deal. The karaage was excellent when reheated in the oven at home. I might end up going there every week!
