On March 7, 2020, I received a request from a drinking friend from another industry to go for yakiniku or shabu-shabu next time we meet up. So, we decided to go to a yakiniku restaurant for our drink today. After searching for various options, we chose "Shichirin Yakiniku Eikatei Esaka Naiwakann" because it is close to our workplace, reasonably priced, and offers delicious food. "Shichirin Yakiniku Eikatei" has several branches in Osaka, and in Esaka, there are two branches - one near Esaka Station and another along Naiwakann Street in Kanamachi. The fact that there are two branches in the same area is evidence of its popularity and success. The reason for its popularity is that they offer quality meat at a reasonable price and provide excellent service. Although they are usually closed during weekdays at the time of our visit, they open relatively early on Saturdays. We arrived a little after 5 pm, and although they were still preparing, we were allowed to enter as long as we left by the next reservation at around 7 pm. We chose the popular "Mega All-You-Can-Eat" course, which includes 112 items of food and all-you-can-drink alcohol. We started with a glass of draft beer and a kimchi assortment while waiting for the assorted meat platter to arrive. The platter included kalbi, harami, pork belly, chicken thigh, and sausages, along with "salted tongue" on a small plate. The special sauce provided initially can be replaced with soy sauce, miso, ponzu, spicy miso base, upon request. Of course, you can also request for gochujang and garlic. We enjoyed grilling vegetables like onions, shishito peppers, and cabbage, as well as ordering additional single pieces of meat. It was a delightful yakiniku experience after a long time, with great meat quality and affordability. #Esaka #Yakiniku #Eikatei
