This is my second time writing, but I do it at a reasonable frequency. It's fun ^_^ I heard from an acquaintance that bagged kimchi is delicious, so I bought it. I also bought Egoma leaf bibim guksu, Pyeongyang cold noodles, and pig's feet slices without fail. I made a cup with makgeolli in it even though I can't drink it. I also made small kimbap (I made 20 today) and Pyeongyang cold noodles. I would like to visit again during the Bon holidays. Thank you for the meal (﹡ˆ︶ˆ﹡)♬*

Located in Shinsaibashi, Osaka. I knew of its existence but visited for the first time. They had a variety of items available, including cosmetics which I always buy during my biannual trips to Korea. I purchased fish sauce extract, instant noodles I've never tried before, Jajangmyeon, Jjolmyeon, Busan fish cakes, sliced pig trotters, delicious Korean canned tuna, etc. I use the fish sauce extract for making green onion kimchi, and I cut the Busan fish cakes into bite-sized pieces, skewer them, and simmer them lightly with offal. I made the Jjolmyeon for lunch today, with its thin noodles and separate soup. It was a refined cold noodle dish. I'm not usually a fan of thin noodles because they don't feel satisfying, but these thin noodles had a nice texture and were delicious. I will definitely go back, or perhaps stop by during my next trip to Osaka.

This is my second visit to the Korean ingredient wholesale supermarket Hiroba-san. I purchased the 1kg Napa cabbage kimchi and was impressed, so this time I couldn't decide between the radish kimchi and the young radish kimchi. I ended up buying the young radish kimchi, which is made with small, young radishes. It has a firmer texture compared to the radish kimchi, and the flavor of the radish is more intense. Both the Napa cabbage kimchi and the young radish kimchi have a refreshing acidity, without much sweetness, making them easy to eat. They both seem to be from the Chonga brand, popular in Korea and well-regarded by kimchi lovers in Japan as well. I liked them so much that I will definitely buy them again. I am also interested in trying the radish kimchi. I read a review from a few months ago mentioning that they had banana milk (a popular drink in Korea and Japan, even featured on TV) but unfortunately, it wasn't available on this day. If it becomes available again, I would like to purchase it. Korean wholesale supermarket Hiroba-san is open from 10:00 to 22:00, located near exit 6 of the Nagahoribashi subway station (at the end of the Sakaisuji Line platform).

A few minutes' walk from Nagahoribashi Station is a Korean grocery store called Hiroba. They have a wide range of Korean products such as seaweed, kimchi, snacks, cosmetics, packs, stone bibimbap bowls, and cooking utensils neatly displayed. The shelf labels are in Japanese and Korean (Hangul). It's their 26th anniversary, so the prices are quite reasonable. - Yangban Korean Seaweed ¥398 (excluding tax) 8 sheets x 8 packs x 9 packs Crispy Korean seaweed packed in individual servings. It's just the right size for a snack. It's said to be the number one favorite in Korea. It was delicious. - Soo Jung Family Kimchi 500g ¥500 (excluding tax) Napa cabbage kimchi in a pack. I heard that Soo Jung Family Kimchi is the most delicious, so I was looking for it and found it here. It has a nice balance of acidity and a gradual spiciness that makes you want to keep eating. I saw it at a high-end supermarket before, but the quantity and price here were more reasonable. There was also a 1kg bag available. - Iwa Nori Zaban (Nori Tsukudani) ¥330 (excluding tax) Although it's called tsukudani, it's actually crispy Korean seaweed with white sesame, sesame oil, and a slightly sweet seasoning. It was delicious sprinkled over rice. They also sell packed Namul assortments and Yukgaejang soup near the register. The staff at the register spoke Korean. The payment amount is displayed at the register, and you pay in Japanese yen. It seems to be under the same management as the Korean supermarket Plaza in Shin-Okubo. I would definitely like to purchase from here again. It's convenient that they are open late at night. Korean Business Supermarket Hiroba Monday to Saturday 10:00-22:00 Sunday 11:00-21:00 A few minutes' walk from Nagahoribashi Station.

I went around 8:00 pm. The staff at the store spoke Korean, so I think they were Korean, but they were quietly working. When I asked about the location of the red pepper flakes, they kindly showed me. It was a pleasant experience. There were a lot of different products available, such as refrigerated foods, frozen foods, dried goods, instant foods, snacks, alcohol, drinks, and even pots and dishes. The selection of alcohol was a bit limited, and the various kimchi was a bit pricey compared to Japan. The large containers of kimchi were cheap, but I didn't buy any this time. I purchased a bottle of JINRO dry soju and a shot glass. Next time, I will try the large container of kimchi.

They sell not only Korean ingredients but also tableware, pots, cosmetics, etc. They also have a wide variety of instant ramen. I recommend the honey mustard, yangnyeom chicken sauce, samjang, and other condiments that are sold at almost the same price as in Korea. The large-size kimchi, mandu, and hotteok are items I haven't bought yet, but I would like to try them next time. The employees seem to be mostly Korean, as they speak to each other in Korean, so it feels like you are in Korea even though it's in Osaka. It's enjoyable just to watch them.

Every time I go to the Minami area of Osaka, I always stop by this place. I usually refrain from posting because I always buy the same thing, but this time I wanted to share about the pig trotter set I found in the deli section. I really like this type of pig trotter. The set also includes two types of dipping sauces, one with Korean red chili slices and the other with garlic. All you need to do is prepare some lettuce and sesame seeds to wrap it up, making it a convenient set. The dipping sauce with salted shrimp is really delicious, and I'm thinking of trying to make it myself.

I use this place once a month, and since I mostly buy the same items, I don't post often. This time, I'll summarize what I bought last time too (if you're bored). Dried wakame (I always buy this whenever I find it, the price varies by store but it's cheaper here as far as I know). Yondu (soybean fermentation seasoning) in two varieties. Newly found crab-flavored ramen (seems quite spicy). Various snacks. Pickled kimchi (this one is also delicious). Sesame oil (quite expensive but the flavor is really good so I keep buying it). Burdock pickles for kimbap and pickled daikon. Lately, they have made the restroom accessible and the interior has been slightly renovated, making it easier to navigate. I'll visit again next month.

I stopped by on my way back from Namba, Osaka. Whenever I pass by, I always make a stop. This is my second visit. Pork feet slices are delicious on their own, but when I tried them as tempura, they became incredibly tasty. The chewy texture was amazing, and the deliciousness was irresistible. This time, I purchased burdock pickles for the first time, to use as an ingredient for making kimbap. I tried rolling it yesterday, and it added a great flavor accent (forgot to take a photo). Trying new and rare things may sometimes result in failure, but taking on challenges is important.

When I have time in Osaka, I visit several Korean supermarkets. I bought a lot of non-food items here, so the food is here. I bought two types of snacks: Chame (a Korean fruit combining muskmelon and melon). Chame is very delicious. It has a mild sweetness and a crispy texture, and the size is just right. One piece is gone in no time. I removed the seeds, but it seems fine to eat them. It was delicious! Let's go buy more when it runs out.

I visited for the first time in a while. I had been focusing on shopping at Momoya Chuo Ryutsu, so I decided to take a peek here. They had the Job's Tears drink (granules) that I wanted. I also bought a new brand of cold noodles. There were new snacks in the Korean seaweed side dish section, and I tried the other kimchi (it was made with Chinese cabbage). The Job's Tears drink was refreshing and seemed filling. As for the other kimchi, it was really delicious. It tasted fresh like it was just made and could be enjoyed like a salad. I made Korean meals two days in a row. I will definitely purchase them again next time. Thank you for the delicious food!

I go once a month. Every time I purchase the napa cabbage kimchi, which is affordable and very delicious. This time, I also purchased the fried chicken powder (saw it on YouTube) for the first time. I forgot to take a photo, but I also bought the Bibigo Yukgaejang soup (pack). I love the Bibigo series, especially the dumplings and potstickers, so I tried the soup today. Added noodles. Mmm, it's spicy. And delicious. If you're in the neighborhood, you should go every week. Thank you for the meal!
